Neville Lancelot Goddard was born on 19 February 1905 in St. Michael, Barbados in the British West Indies, the fourth child in a family of nine boys and one girl. He came to the United States on board the S.S. Vasari to study drama at the age of seventeen (September 1922) and whilst touring with his dance company in England he developed an interest in metaphysics. On his return he gave up the entertainment industry to devote his full attention to the study of spiritual and mystical matters.Neville studied with a mentor, Abdullah, learning Hebrew, the Kabbalah, and the hidden symbolic meaning of Scripture. After travelling extensively throughout the United States, Neville eventually made his home in Los Angeles where, in the 1950s, he gave a series of talks on television and radio, and for many years lectured regularly to capacity audiences at the Wilshire Ebell Theater In the 1960s and early 1970s, he confined most of his lectures to Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco. He discussed his doctrine, referred to as “The Law,” on television in the Los Angeles area, saying, “Learn how to use your imaginal power, lovingly, on behalf of others, for Man is moving into a world where everything is subject to his imaginal power.”Enjoy all 10 Neville Goddard Spiritual Classics plus the 1948 Class At Your Command2. This is a wonderful collection of 10 books that remind you of why it is important to live a life of affirmation, and how. I love Neville and constantly reference his writing as a reminder to be intentional. Since this is a compilation of multiple writings, some portions are repetitive... but read them all anyway, don’t skip a page - you have to stay rooted in the concepts.

Of course, this is only a good read for those who truly believe in the power of positive affirmation, manifestation, and the permeation of energy in all of life’s circumstances. If you are not “into” those things, it’s likely you won’t enjoy it.

Overall:

This is the best, fastest reading Neville Goddard book collection I have ever read. And it does not have too many typos in it. I could not ask for more and it has a few notations from Arthur Vergara of Devorss Publishing that are notable. I'll just end with: Great stuff all around in this edition.
