I liked and enjoyed this one but I didn't love it as much as the first. Pierce is sexy and hot and is into BDSM this is a second chance romance and secret baby trope i wish we would have had more angst among the 2 MC's i liked the way the storyline wanted to go with Pierce wanting revenge on Amelia but that crash and burned. Idk i also wanted more scenes with Pierce and his son..who was super cute..

the spice, the emotion, the wholesomeness at times, it was all there

my brain quite literally exploded at the end, like I knew what was coming but I just wasn’t ready

Master of Games is the second installment in Sienna Snow's Gods of Vegas series and honestly it did not disappoint. After seeing and learning Amelia Thanos' secret in book one, Master of Sin, I could not jump on this book fast enough. Amelia and Pierce were so delicious and sexy. I loved the sizzling connection between them and the strong emotional ties that remained despite ten years going by.

I thought this story was fiery and delicious and I loved how strong Amelia was. She knew she had to tell her past love, Pierce Lykaios, her secret but with the powerful attraction between them, she couldn't stay away from him. Likewise, I loved how formidable and strong Pierce was and how he initially had a nefarious plan for her but once they were back in each other's orbit the love he never lost for her rose to the surface. This story was HOT with bdsm elements and while it is a standalone, it is in your best interest to read book one. Seeing Penny and Hagan again was also fantastic. I look forward to reading more of the Lykaios brothers! This series is a win!! Bravo! 4.5 stars! ~Ratula

An intriguing story that had me hooked from start to finish.
Pierce and Amelia had so much broken history it’s hard to see how they could possibly get past the damage from their past relationship. The chemistry between them is still amazing thats obvious and the heat leaves the pages in waves, this is definitely a steamy read. This story has to be the one to remember in this series so far, but I’m still looking forward to more.

I love the fact that every Snow book has very strong female characters. This book is no exception. When Pierce finds out he's the biological father of Amelia 's son Christopher, he is furious. All he wants is revenge...until he's face to face with his teenage love and decides he wants more.

Amelia is a great character, not only with strength of character, but a former MMA fighter and CEO of a multi -billion dollar company. She's Penny's best friend, and is forced to go head to head with Pierce when their fighters decide on a televised fight. Pierce starts to realize that revenge is not the right path. Continue to love the brothers ' relationship with each other, which is extremely believable.

Pierce and Amelia fall back into a relationship that neither wants to immediately define. The BDSM that is described is also believable, and doesn't fall into parody as many books with it seem to do. Snow highlights the love in this dom/sub relationship, making the scenes hot and beautiful at the same time. The chemistry between Pierce and Amelia is insane.

While I loved the interactions between friends and family, I wish there was more Adrian, Penny 's brother. He captivated me in book one with his intelligence and wisdom. Seeing more with Henna and Anaya was nice, setting us up for something in the next book without giving it away. I found Pierce to be a complex person, hard-headed, overly emotional but reasonable. It was even addressed in the book, when Pierce admits that everyone thinks he's the hothead, but it's really Zach the younger brother. I also adored Sylvia, the Thanos grandmother who shocks Amelia with her power and reach.

This group is fun to read, and the women continue to wow. It really is true: behind every good man lies a smarter woman.

Master of Games by Sienna Snow is book 2 in the Gods of Vegas Series. This is the story of Pierce Lykaios and Amelia Thanos. I have read the previous book, but feel this can be a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Pierce and Amelia where young and in love but they were pulled apart when someone didn't want them together. Now about 10 years later, Pierce never forgot or forgave Amelia for leaving him. When he learns a new secret she kept he wants to hurt her professionally. Amelia didn't feel she had a choice all those years ago so she had to leave. Amelia did find a older man that offered to help her and he did until he recently died. Now Pierce and Amelia are facing each other again, sparks are still flying but they have to forgive the past to move forward.

The story line was interesting and engaging, the characters had a great chemistry and were likable, the sex was hot with some B&D thrown in, the different families that are involved can get confusing because there are so many of them I had to stop and take a minute to work out who was related to who and if they were in a relationship. All over it was a good follow up to book 1.

3.5/5⭐️ when I first heard about Pierce and Amelia’s story, I was intrigued because I love the single mother (sort of) aspect of it. However, I was very frustrated (almost to tears) when I learned of their past. I didn’t like how Amelia had no plans of ever letting Pierce become a father and I was ready to throw in the towel and dnf this book because of the hurt I felt for Pierce. That being said, I’m glad I didn’t dnf. I skipped a lot of the beginning because my heart couldn’t handle it, but the end of the book made up for it. That’s why it’s a 3.5 star. Despite my qualms with her earlier, I am so happy Amelia was able to overcome her struggles as trying to fit in as the “perfect” wife for the Thanos family. Christopher is such an adorable child and I wish I got more moments with him and Pierce.

Overall, I enjoyed the first book a whole lot more. But this book wasn’t bad.

A great read

This is the second book in the series and I would highly recommend reading them in order. (Just for better understanding of the family). These men are HOT dominating men who won’t be messed with. I love this family focused series with equally empowering women surrounding them. Another great read with some light BDSM.

Pierce and Amelia were once high school sweethearts that were torn apart by other people's deceit that used the circumstances for their advantage . Now years later these two come face to face and must deal with the past and the present. Deceit and lies destroyed them before,; can they come clean and heal or will it be more of the same lies and deceit ? These two have pitted themselves against each other professionally having them in proximity to each other. This leads them to the passion, chemistry and a little Dom and sub role playing possibly. They are meant to be together and you can see it . I seriously love Pierce Dom persona because it's very hot how he feels about her and it such a great story. The heat is there but can it last? Does it have staying power this time around? There road is a bumpy one and filled with number of shocking discoveries.

I really liked this book. It was very good book. There was a lot of chemistry between the two characters. I loved the Dom/ sub relationship which I'm not always for but it was well written and flowed well. The only thing is at the beginning I was a bit confused who was who with so many characters introduced early, but once I reread it and understood who was who it was smooth sailing. Good book.

Pierce has always had a short fuse on his temper. Only one hand had ever stayed his beast. The same hand that sent him into a rage induced spiral that dramatically changed the course of his life. Now his dynasty is all about the blood and the sweat. The sweet taste of victory occasionally tainted by the salty tears of defeat. His job is to bring the best of the best under the big top magic that is Vegas.
Pierce's character had me on the fence through a large portion of the story. Oh don't get me wrong he is swoon-worthy and I really enjoyed his take no prisoners approach at life. But I can not count the number of times I wanted to smack some sense into him during one of his little tantrums (OK you probably can't call them little). I will admit that by the end he had definitely redeemed himself. Watching him grow emotionally .. Be still my heart <3

Amelia, she is Greek Royalty by way of marriage. She is a fighter both in spirit and form. She is about to enter a fight that could cost her the one thing she treasures most.
A decade ago Amelia was forced to walk away from the one man who made her heart sing but she took a piece of him with her. Now it was time to come clean and does she have some skeletons in her closet.
Amelia is a powerhouse of a female lead. She doesn't bow to anyone , well there was one exception but that was a long time ago. She found a way to mold herself to appease her in laws but she never forgot who she was.

This was an emotional roller coaster ride from the first page to the last.
Lots of angst, betrayal, loss, redemption - Master has it all and let us not forget the fiery chemistry that was Amelia and Pierce
So many secrets were unveiled and more pieces of the puzzle were put in place.
I have some answers but even more questions! And I can not wait for the next in series. I am thinking Zach is about to have his bluff called.

The Gods of Vegas are back for round two of this super hot and addicting series with Master of Games, Pierce and Amelia's story. Ten years ago they were two athletes honing their skills and working on future careers in the sports world. Friendship turned to more and a passionate romance blossomed for two years. A series of unfortunate events took place, leaving both broken hearted and a pregnant Amelia alone and back in her home country of Greece until another man stepped up, providing a new life and lots of security for both her and her child. Although Amelia couldn't be more grateful to Stavros she knew what was missing and that was Pierce and the love only he could give. And with Stavros gone and Amelia back in the States for work, unfinished business is being explored with new determination from Pierce to thaw Amelia's outer shell once and for all and finally claim what's always been between them for good.

Master of Games was such a deliciously steamy read, it's a wonder my phone didn't combust with the fire that is Pierce and Amelia. Together these two are off the charts but individually they are just as fascinating to read. Both were handed impossible situations and came out on top of the world and funny enough in the same kind of business, just on opposite sides of the globe. Even without all the past between Pierce and Amelia, they have such a beautiful bond of friendship, respect, and trust. I also love that Sienna Snow wrote plenty of scenes with the brothers and the girls as well. All together this group is super tight and each character brings something different and intriguing to the table. I knew from the beginning I would love this series and now two books in I am most definitely hooked. And the underlying storyline is getting even more juicy, I can only imagine what will be revealed next but I hope that's soon since I'm already dying for more.

Will he feel the same when she reveals the whole truth? And more importantly, can she protect her heart while submitting to the chemistry that is still alive? Ms Snow writes stories of strong women who fight for what they want. She knows that they need Alpha men, who can respect them but control them in the bedroom and she gets the balance right, all while weaving suspense and hidden secrets. This is book 2 of the Gods of Vegas series and I would recommend that you start off with book 1- Master of Sin, as the characters all interlink through each story. The story is good, entertaining with some light comical banter and plenty of hot sizzling steamy moments. Overall an enjoyable read.

Master of Games is everything I like about Sienna Snow's books. A hotter than summer in the deep south hero who's also incredibly smart, rich and driven and a heroine with all the same attributes. Pierce was born into his world but has proven quite effective at making his own way too. Amelia comes from humble beginnings and earned every bit of her success. Though they were separated ten years ago their mutual occupation has them representing fighters on either side of a huge bout. It's immediately obvious they still have off the chart chemistry and care for each other but can they overcome the hurt of their breakup? When Pierce makes a shocking proposition, one that Amelia is pretty sure she can't physically even do, she readily accepts so she can have unlimited hot sex with the one man she's never gotten over. The two find they enjoy there time together out of bed as much as the sex and grow close again quickly. Lingering lies interfere though and the reader must ride the ups and downs (which is what make the book intriguing) to see if these two can see their way to a happily ever after ending.

Snow always creates wonderful complex characters. Men you want to be with and women you want to be. The stories are always woven with plenty of issues to make the way ahead murky and keep the reader wondering how the story will unfold.

This book was a great read and one that I would even reread when I need a dose of sigh, arghs and ahhhs.

Another story of the Lykaios brother Pierce, we got a glimpse of his life in the previous book. Undeniable chemistry between Amelia and him, later we also got to know that Christopher was Pierce's son and not Stavros.

This book is about what happens when Amelia comes to the Sin City for her business and how Pierce gets to know about his son. Does he wants to take away Christopher from Ame or wants to be a part of his life?
Does he wants revenge for the past or rekindle their love from where they left almost a decade back?

There is no denying the love they feel for each other & the mad chemistry they have. But Ame has her Thanos International & her reputation as Mrs. Thanos holding her back . Also she is not sure of Pierce's intention.

They both love eachother but still don't realize it or due to their circumstances & can't act upon it.

They start seeing eachother again, does Pierce meet Christopher, is there just as a Olympic Champion the kid adores or as his father or just a friend of his mother? Read the book to know it.

There is so much angst in the book. I wanted to slap them or yell at them for being so stupid. I got immersed in their story and couldn't put it down till I came to the last page and read their HEA.

Another 5 star read.

Can't wait to read what Zack's story would be.

5 Stars!! I absolutely LOVE this series!! There’s a fairly large cast of characters, but I love all of them and all the crazy ways they are connected. The little and big twists that pop up when you aren’t expecting them constantly keeps you on your toes. The plot in this book wasn’t as intricate as in Master of Sin, which you need to read before this one, but it still held me captivated from start to finish. There was never a dull moment. If there was ever a time when I didn’t understand a character’s actions, it didn’t take long for things to make sense.
Amelia was equal parts totally tough and totally vulnerable. She has a lot of weight on her shoulders and she’s scared to make the wrong decisions.
Pierce was the perfect amount of possessive and the BDSM scenes were so very hot without entering into the dark realm. I also loved that all of the sex scenes seemed to happen naturally. They didn’t feel as if they were thrown in to just add more sex, and they didn’t overshadow the plot of the story. And there were some seriously swoon worthy moments!!
I can’t wait for the next story!!!

Those are the key components of this story between Pierce and Amelia. Once high school sweethearts torn apart by circumstances beyond their control, the pair have to come face-to-face with some harsh realities. Deceit and lies destroyed a multitude of lives in the process. Wanting to utilize the anger to shield the hurt the couple find themselves pitted against each other professionally, while venturing back into familiar territory. This leads them to the insane passion that flies off the page. Pretty sure my phone melted in the process. You will definitely be blown away by the intense chemistry between these two. The power of love definitely shines through in the end for them, but the road there is bumpy and filled with numerous revelations. Overall, the Lykaios boys are becoming favorites in he world of book boyfriends by giving each other a run for their money and keeping you interested from start to finish.

This was a great book about Pierce and 'the one that got away'. Pierce thought they were so great together until she left him high and dry to wed another, and have a child. Now with her husband gone and a preteen in tow they are back butting heads. Pierce has worked hard to get where he is doing what he does best, and he is determined not just to not be derailed by Amelia but to cause her as much heart ache as she caused him. Amelia has secrets and surprises of her own and she's tough in the business world, who is to say if they will even recognize each other, so much water under the bridge. This was a wonderful book in its own right, can be read as a standalone absolutely but you should totally read Master of Sin first, you will get so much more out of it. Here's hoping we get Zach's story and the remainder of my mysteries that have been going on in the background sewn up!

I just knew I was going to love Pierce and Amelia! In book one we learn Amelia has a secret and I was just dying to read how it would unfold! Snow didn't disappoint! Pierce and Amelia have heartbreaking history and the heat these two still pack ten years later is enough to burn your house down! Whew... these two characters connection was incredibly sexy and intoxicating. I was so emotional for them! My poor Pierce is still so damaged from their past and tries to start this out on the wrong foot so to speak. (face palm) I yelled at him and at Amelia so much throughout this book! lots of lost time to make up for and forgiveness to be earned! Master of Games is book two in the Gods of Vegas series, I urge you to read book one because you wont want to miss out on Hagen's story! I'm looking forward to the last Lykaios brother!

This book is JAM PACKED with everything I love in a romance novel! Pierce and Amelia’s story is MORE than anything I ever expected! Second chance romance, enemies to lovers, secret baby! It’s all here and it’ll melt your heart and hit you in the all right places! I thought I loved Hagen but oh man Pierce is just flipping AMAZING! Amelia is one bad ass woman who I love! Snow creates heroines that are strong and I find I can easily identify with them and it makes the story that much more personable.

Pierce Lykaios has it all in life as a Lykaios brother in Vegas. He has money, fame, and family; only thing missing was the love of his life. He has missed Amelia for years and finally has her back and will never let her go, weather she wants him or not. Finding out the secret she has been keeping from him since they broke up makes it worse. Throw in some hot brothers, sports, and a second chance at love makes for a fabulous read.

Snow has written a fantastic world of the Lykaios brothers in Vegas. There are so many stories to be told, I can't wait for more.

The story between these two characters is so enthralling and filled with so much animosity and temptation. This is a couple you love to watch find their way back to each other despite the setbacks they’ve experienced over time. Their chemistry and desire jumps from the pages. I thought I loved Hagen, but Pierce definitely took me on the ride of my life in this one. Overall a good read and I can’t wait for the rest of the series!

Pierce can get a tad bit jealous, “do you know how hard it is to see men want you and not have any claim to stop them? This effing dress is indecent.” Pierce is such a sweet talker, “for the record, every time with you is making love. Even when it’s angry effing, there’s emotion there.” Pierce likes to give his woman options, “answer one question. Do you want to talk or eff?” I liled this book, I fell in love with Pierce.

Gods of Vegas is my favorite series of 2021 so far for a variety of reasons, but mainly because it is fresh in concept, characters, and when it comes to audiobook narration too. Master of Games is my favorite in the five-book series for these reasons and more.

Let's start with Sienna Snow who was a new-to-be author before this series. Her writing is so refreshing in a genre that can get repetitive very easily. Her stories are also elaborate yet easy to follow, red hot yet have heart, and diverse yet not excluding. Every book in this series is a second chance romance but the world-building and intertwining storylines between the main characters in each book are incredible.

Master of Games is the peak of that with a story that intrigues you from page one and keeps you thinking, "What will happen next?" until the very last chapter. Pierce Lykaios is one of the most complex heroes of the series but Amelia, the former MMA fighter, really steals the show in this one.
Note: Sienna's writing is the steamiest of the steamy and this book doesn't disappoint in that realm as well.

All of the audiobooks in this series are narrated by Joe Arden and newcomer Yami Habibi. Joe is arguably the most talented narrator, male or female, in audio period so combining him with Yami who has a distinctive narrating style compared to other female narrators in romance, made a great match. This series also gets bonus points for casting correctly when it comes to the diversity in narrators.
