I thought this was a great resource for someone that's never coached soccer. It keeps it simple, doesn't overcomplicate the topics.

Good information for new coaches of younger players. Lots of aspects addressed, with suggestions for everything. Even though I don't intend on using all of the suggestions, the topics helped to insure I didn't overlook any key areas and think about ways to best address those areas in my environment. (Never played soccer, never coached youth sports, former youth sport participant).

Some really good information for the novice, but quite outdated.
