Rate this book
The Cape has been home to hundreds of popular nightclubs and watering holes over the past hundred years, featuring such timeless drinks as the Cape Codder and the Sea Breeze. From orchestras to digital playlists, the clubs have evolved with the times. While many famous locales, such as Johnny Yee's and the Compass Lounge, have been shuttered, other classics like the Beachcomber, the Atlantic House and the Melody Tent remain, serving up a unique blend of entertainment and spirits for tourists and locals alike. Join local author Christopher Setterlund as he takes a look back at some of the places, music and drinks that have made Cape Cod nightlife sparkle.

I have been painting worlds with words since 1996. I started writing song lyrics and poetry although my musical skill is quite limited. My first short story, Eight Hours, was originally a screenplay submitted for a contest. Afterwords I rewrote it to make it better suited as a book.
I have been told by some to find a genre and stick to it but I enjoy writing all types of books as is obvious by my titles and subjects I have put out thus far. I have three children's books, a pair of poetry books, and a photography book which incorporates my poetry as well.
I truly enjoy travel writing and this has resulted in my first hardcover book detailing all of Cape Cod being released Fall 2013. In My Footsteps: A Cape Cod Travel Guide has been positively reviewed in the Cape Cod Times and Boston Globe.
My travel blog has concentrated on my home region of New England thus far and is entitled In My Footsteps which is featured on such sites as Cape Cod Today, Plymouth Daily News, and All Things New England. I am trying my best to balance my books and travel writing since I truly love doing both. It is said that if you do what you love you never work a day in your life, and that is how I feel when I am writing books or traveling around New England.
Besides writing I love photography and running. I have completed numerous races including my first marathon in October 2012. I started running in 2011 at age 33 and am living proof that anything is possible. Thank you all for taking the time to learn a little about me.
