Fun enemies-to-lovers rom com. :)
Having "met" Katy before in the prequel novella, I already knew how fierce she could be. Mitch didn't stand a chance - and thank God for that... ;)
I want to go back to Cranberry Hill - the other two books are already on my TBR list.

When love 💘 comes softly and you're not looking for it.
Katy was orphaned at a young age and lived with her Aunt Penny until her Aunt gave her up with no explanation and she was eventually adopted by a couple 💑 that didn't quite know what to make of her. She started working at 10 years of age and it embarrassed 😳her parents. Her skills at making money 💰carried over into her college years.
Katy received word from her Aunt Penny ’s Attorney that she had inherited property on the West Coast but she was still angry 😠with her Aunt for giving her up that her best friend (college roommate)
had a hard time convincing her to check things out.
When Katy arrives at the house, she finds Mitch there and finds that he has already done quite a bit of work on the house and he's had the same idea 💡about turning the place into an inn.
They eventually decide that they should form a partnership and run 🏃 the Inn together but their attraction to each other almost wrecks their partnership. Katy received word that her friend Summer had been shot and returns back East to be by her side.
Summer and her brother Carson convince Katy to return and try to work things out. Upon her return, Tandy the guy that had been helping with the renovation gives her a quick tour and then tells Katy that Mitch is at the restaurant that they'd been to and she's supposed to go there.
Find out what happens when she arrives and the surprise that awaits her there and if the partnership between Katy and Mitch continues as before, breaks up or becomes something more.

I didn't feel much romance in this book. Mitch and Katy spent most of it being antagonists. Even when they committed to bring partners, they still circled each other like they were waiting to see who would strike first.
That didn't feel like a buildup of sexual tension of romance to me. It was acknowledged they each were a bit broken, and I thought they might come together based on those shared experiences.
Even after, Mitch and Katy behaved like one of them had the measles and needed to avoid contact. This was one of the most reluctant couples I have ever encountered. Even working up to the reconciliation and HEA felt off to me. The epilogue came the closest to feeling like they had a romantic relationship and WANTED to be together. I thing the epilogue saved this book so I could rate it with 3 stars.

Inheriting an old house, Katy has plans for what she wants to do with it. After all, business is her forté and she knows that she will make a success of it. Only, she is almost too late to put in her claim. Upon arrival at the house, she finds someone else with a vested interest in the house, and it takes all Katy's determination to find a solution to the problem. Mitch has been dreaming of the house and had already put his plan in place. Unlike most places, the lawyers in town give them good advice rather than trying to rake up hours. Ultimately, going into partnership puts Katy and Mitch into another situation, one which is more emotional and as their feelings run away from them, both Katy and Mitch have to decide whether they can put aside their previous history and start living for the future. The story is well written, romantic and heartwarming. Although part of a series, it is a standalone and comes to a happy conclusion.

Katy’s and Mitch’s dreams are very similar. If only they were not enemies, they could work really well together…
I did not understand the problems the characters created themselves with their emotions. It seems very childish to decide not to like someone just because the person threatens one’s dreams. I get that it’s a hard pill to swallow to have to mourn a dream project, even the little paybacks (e.g. cutting the water). But that a whole village is willing to make a stranger’s life miserable as a solidary action is just mean. The risks were known from the beginning. Though I did not connect with the emotional side of the story, I enjoyed seeing the common dream for a house bringing two people together.

This is my first time reading something by this author and I absolutely loved it! This is a very well-written, heartwarming story about two people who didn't have much love growing up, but they learn to respect each other and eventually learn about love together. A perfect enemies to lovers story with strong and endearing characters. I love small town romances and this one hit the spot! Katy and Mitch are wonderful, and there dialogue was so much fun to read. This is a great beginning to what looks to be a fun and cute series. I'm looking forward to reading Book 2!

Romance with just the right amount of drama
Katy and Mitch. Opponents at the beginning to a happily ever after. Ms. Henel-Aislinn has created warm characters for this book, and a believable story line, all wrapped up in a quaint small town in the Pacific Northwest. While not a fan of the rain, I'd love to visit Cranberry Hill some time. I'm looking forward to reading the next installment of the Cranberry Hill Inn Romance series.

The Missing Woman
Mitch is restoring a house that was supposed to belong to a woman who who has not shown up to claim it. He is counting on her remaining a no show. But, Katy was just tying up loose ends before she claims her inheritance. The fur begins to fly when she arrives and finds Mitch in her house. You will have to read the book to find out whose claim wins out. Enjoy!

This is a great beginning to the Cranberry Hill Inn series. This first book centers around Katy and Mitch. Katy has inherited the house and has decided she’s going to turn it into an inn. When she goes to claim her inheritance, she finds Mitch living there. Will they work together or will one of them buy out the other? Grab your copy and get ready to meet some wonderful characters that you’ll what to read more about. I’ll looking forward to reading more books in this series.

This is the 1st book I've read written by Nala Henkel-Aislinn; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Good story
I really enjoyed this story. The characters were lovable and flawed mami g them even more enjoyable. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a book that simply makes you feel good.

An amusing read, dealing with random male alpha behaviors in a small town. Women are definitely not accepting these behaviors, as they too, are educated. Throw in small town living, and you have this book. I really wasn't keen on the ending.

Oil and water do blend some times
Mitch and Katy seemed to be the proverbial oil and water as the story begins, but with time they find they want more of the same things for their lives? It was a sweet story and made me smile.

Excellent novel. I loved the town. They were definitely going to take care of their own. Even if it meant running her out of town. Some just don't know how or what loves feels like. Not as loving people, but being in love. But Cranberry Hill stood behind those they felt were their own
