I was absolutely thrilled when the lovely author Judy Serrano contacted me asking if I’d like to review an ARC of After the Fall which is the final book in the Easter’s Lilly series…sob
I read The Last Fall two and a half years ago and I had missed the Montiago’s. I was excited to start the book and as soon as I picked it up it was like they had never been away I sank right back into the Montiago’s world.
After the Fall has two parts, Part 1 is told from Tabatha’s point of view and Part 2 is from Lilly’s point of view. We got to catch up with the lovely Montiago family, Lilly, Hector, Diego Jr but there is a surprise in the book too with a character coming back..hmm who could it be?
The book begins with Tabatha about to get married to Octavio aka Tavy and she is kidnapped and in Jimmy Vasquez holdings who is a rival of the Montiago’s and wants their cartel as well as his own. Tabatha is saved but not by Tavy, oh no he is busy with other things, I mean what is more important than your fiancée being kidnapped?
Things spiral and the suspense of will they make it won’t they kept me on the edge of my seat. There
There are a lot of twists and turns, double-crossing, deaths and people redeeming themselves and finally a fantastic ending. But I am not going to tell you because it will spoil the whole book. You will have to read it to find out but I will tell you now, you will not be disappointed.
Judy penned a fantastic series and I am sad there wasn’t a cliffhanger because it really does mean the end of the series.

This is the last installment of the Easter’s Lilly series. I can honestly say I’m going to miss the Montiago family, although they are the definition of a dysfunctional family.
I will say it takes a little bit to get caught up because there was such a time lapse between books 6 and 7 but you get into the groove very quickly.
This book ties up all the loose ends we’ve always wondered about. Junior is all grown up now with kids of his own. Family members we forgot about or were scared make their presence known.
The biggest thing is who in the world does Lilly end up with? We know that she has been a woman that the Montiago men literally fight over. When the story starts she’s with Hector still. Does she stay with Hector? Does she go back to a past love? Does she find a new love?
You’ll want to read this book to find out these answers and more. The truth just may surprise you. After the Fall proves at least to me, that true love really does exist and concurs all.

Yet again another amazing story by Judy Serrano. This books ends “Easter’s Lilly series” in the best way possible while keeping us on the edge of our seats and just as interested as we were from the start of the first book. The characters as always capture your heart once again fora roller coaster ride you’d wait for. An ending we all wanted for Lilly and we deserved after a long journey.
