How much do you know about Mozart the famous composer? This is a fun kids book about some mouse going back in time through a time machine and along the way readers will learn about Wolfgang Mozart when he was a young child prodigy. This is the eighth volume of the Geronimo Stilton Graphic Novel series, a series my kids and I have grown to love and appreciate.
Geronimo Stilton is the main character and he is joined by a group of friends and family to stop the Pirate Cats who attempts to change history in their favor by stealing Mozart’s score. I love how when the pirates and Geronimo’s gang went back in time they were surprised to discover how young Mozart was. Readers will learn history along the way while reading this adventure. Like the rest of the series I also enjoyed the colors and artwork for this volume. I recommend it!

Summary: Geronimo Stilton and his friends to go back in time to Milan, Italy in the year 1770, in order to stop the Pirate Cats from stealing one of the most important musical works in history: a symphony composed by a young Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart!
Recommendations or Comments: Because I had never read a Geronimo Stilton book before I was confused with some of the plot lines. I enjoyed the art work and the facts about Mozart and his time that were sprinkled throughout the book.
the book talks about some cats that travelled in the past and they are trying to change the past, so geronimo stilton and his friends go back to the time of Wofgang Amadeus Mozart to stop the cats
In this graphic novel version of Geronimo Stilton, the mouse editor travels back in time to save Mozart from the pirate cats. The book has the feel of a graphic novel with interesting facts interspersed in yellow shaded boxes to make it clear to readers it is factual information. This is a wonderful way to bridge readers to the chapter Geronimo Stilton books. It is a model text for ideas and presentation to take a story and have students storyboard it out into a graphic novel. This could also be a step in their writing process as they add captions to drawings and then create a story. The various graphic novel elements of thought bubbles, dialogue bubbles and narrator boxes are also evident. Reading Equivalent = 3.6
We've read all of the Geronimo Stilton Graphic Novels published so far and our girls really like them. I thought they were very hard to read aloud at first, but I've gotten used to them. And I love that this story includes bits of history and introduces classical music as well.
We enjoyed reading this book together and we will certainly read more of the graphic novels as they are published as well as the numerous Geronimo Stilton chapter books too.
I think the book was good because it was about Geronimo Stilton and his friends help save scores of a piano from a kid. And that they help the little boy with his piano scores but scores are rally keys to play the piano. But the thing is that the pirate cats took them and ran awayand went into a carriage and still got caught by Geronimo and his friends and gave it back to the boy and played great at his concert. The book was called "Geronimo Stilton play it again mozart" by Geronimo Stilton.
