Rainy Theisen was born and raised in Clear Creek, Colorado. Rainy had a heart a mile wide and a quirky attitude but the mouth of a sailor and a Pitbull attitude to match. Drake Crawford had been in love with Rainy for years but he couldn’t seem to get past the walls she erected because of a guilt she had that left her life in limbo. At his wit’s end, Drake takes drastic measures to shake her out of her funk but it comes back against him and it might just make him lose Rainy for good.

About the author

Author Bio ~ Mia Jones was born and raised in Iowa and still resides there with her husband and children. She’s an author of contemporary romance novels and devotes hours to creating steamy novels with happy endings that she hopes entertain people, make them laugh and sometimes cry, but always ends the book feeling good.
Mia started writing when she was thirteen. She found writing was a way to comfort herself during her rough teenage years, and she never stopped. It was only when her mother and sister pushed her did she finally send in a novel, and to her surprise, people enjoyed it and asked for more.
You can usually find her at her home in the country surrounded by her family and many animals and the majority of the time in her quiet little office, conjuring up whole new interesting families and communities.
Some of Mia’s favorite things are spending time with her family, her dogs, riding horses, gardening, cooking, hiking and, of course, writing and reading romance novels.

Another great read from Mia Jones!!! I read this book in one sitting and my heart broke and was put back together by the end of this book!!!

Rainy is a tough nut with a soft center. She has been through a lot and has a hard time letting go of the past. Once she does, she thinks that she has lost her chance for true happiness with the man of her dreams. We get the chance to see what true pain looks like. Mia Jones really shows her readers what a broken heart looks like. I felt Rainy's pain as I was reading the pages of this book.

I LOVED this book and can't wait to read the finally installment of this series!!! I highly recommend this to anyone looking to get lost for a little bit. I have not been disappointed by a Mia Jones book yet!!!

This book had heat, pain, and drama right from the beginning. Rainy had so much guilt weighing her down and it was preventing her from starting the life she deserved. She went through quite the time as she worked to find her happiness. The ending was sweet and just what Rainy needed.

A great story! This couple's long struggle to be together finally comes to an end. Part of this story had me busting out laughing! Rainy's healing and letting her guilt go pulled on my heart strings. Mia is doing a wonderful job with this series!

Been spending a lot of time reading during this time of crisis. I love Mia Jones' books as it is a perfect mix of romance and suspense. Easy to read. Will be finished with the book before you know it. I would highly recommend her books!
