Have you ever wanted a devotional that will give you that extra boost of encouragement? Maybe you are still looking for that one devotional that just speaks to you. There is one that I can think of and think you would benefit from it. It is called, “The Daily Dose – 365 Days To A Healthy Soul”. The author, Lina Abujamra, has jam packed this book with 365 devotionals that you can read every day of the year.

When I first learned about her devotional, I was reading it on an app called YouVersion. It was a thirty day devotional that you are able to read. After reading day one, I knew this was the devotional for me. I got to the end of the thirty days in the app and I wanted more. I was so excited to learn that those devotionals from the Bible reading plan were just a small taste of what was in store in this book. If you would like to take a look at it, it is called "The Daily Dose: 30 Days To A Healthy Soul". You can find this on the YouVersion Bible app.

Each day you are met with a Bible verse at the beginning. This would be a great time to get out your Bible and read any verses surrounding that verse for the day. If you are a Bible journaler like me, then it would a good time to journal that verse for the day as well. Next is the devotion. Each devotional is about three to four paragraphs each. It doesn’t take long to read each devotional and it is very enjoyable to read. Lastly, the author asks you questions to answer for yourself. This would be a good time to have a notebook out to write out your answers to each question.
I feel that this devotional is something you really should read. Like I said in the beginning; it is jam packed with so much encouragement from the author, Lina Abujamra. The devotionals in this book are so encouraging and really engage you as a reader. You may find that your critical thinking skills will come into play as you answer the questions on each page. You can tell the author is someone who is inspiring, uplifting and empowers her readers.

That is one other reason why I wanted to review this devotional book. I knew just by reading these devotionals that you could benefit from them as much as I have. I hope that you will pick up this devotional and keep it close by. You are able to find this devotional book at some retailers like Amazon. If you would like to read more about Lina and her ministry, you can find that and more at https://www.livingwithpower.org/. I highly suggest you check out this website as there are many resources available such as podcasts, a newsletter, and Bible studies.

Please note: I received this devotional book from Living with Power in exchange to my review. I was not swayed by my review in any way and all thoughts in this review are my own.
