Pandora is a wild child through and through. After being sheltered by her overprotective (and at times, seriously neurotic) parents, she’s finally free to live her life on her own terms. Finally free of the consequences she suffered for so long, but not the fear instilled by her parents. Pandora shoulders deep-rooted anxiety—thanks in part to her parents’ unconventional forms of punishment—as if it’s just a part of who she is.

I LOVED Pandora. She is an incredibly deep character. Sunniva Dee really took her time creating and forming Pandora into the slightly obnoxious, reckless, sweet, insecure girl that she is. Every single thing Pandora does is tied into her past on some level. This broken girl, searching for unconditional love and acceptance, but who doesn’t believe she truly deserves it, stole a piece of my heart.

Enter Dominic—smart, sexy, and PERFECT Dominic. He’s everything Pandora thinks she isn’t. Determined, family-oriented, and driven. But Dominic has demons of his own; consuming him and threatening the future he’s strategically planned for himself. When Pandora crashes into his life, she’s both a blessing and a curse for this man, so close to reaching his goals.

And then there’s Leon, dark and seductive, and icy blue eyes set firmly on Pandora. Leon. Oh, Leon, Leon, Leon. Every scene featuring this beautifully twisted man had me so torn. I LOVED him. I wanted more of him. But as much as I adored his unapologetic and perverse quirks, I knew Leon and Pandora together was one giant ticking time bomb, counting down to a heart-pumping conclusion.

In the end, there can only be one man left standing. Will Pandora choose the man who lights up her life, or the one who stirs her dark side?

Wild!

I loved every minute of this book! Pandora is truly a wild child. She wants to be good, but she has a hard time with it. Dominic tries to help her and keep her out of trouble, but he has his own battles to fight. And then there is Leon....mysterious Leon. I can't wait to read his story!
Sunniva is an amazing writer! Everyone of her books that I have read have left me wanting more!

From the moment I started reading, I was hooked. Nothing around me exist, like I was in "Smother" with all the characters. It was crazy-chaotic-wanna-pull-your-hair-out, kind of read. If you love, a love triangle in a way, then get to reading Dominic and Pandora's story.

 photo Pandora_zpsc01643e3.jpg

Pandora is finally free from her overprotective parents. Or so she tells herself. Her father is the reason why she hates to sleep in the dark. When she was caught by her father one day, from an outing with her friends intoxicated, it was all downhill for her. Her father likes to put her on time out, no matter her age may be. By doing that, she gets locked up in her walk-in closet. No lights, pitch black and all. It's the reason why he collects all different watts of light bulbs, she doesn't want to imagine to revisit that incident in case the light bulb goes out. She's traumatized from that experience that it haunts her, wide awake or in her sleep. Yes, she may be a wild child but her parents are to blame for some things she isn't too proud of doing. She suffers from chronic diseases and needs to be kept in control. In order for her to do that, she must take regular exercises and massages.

"Sheuermann can be a very serious illness if not kept from progressing.

It makes her miserable, gets to the point that the pain is excruciating and will not allow to move a muscle. She's a stubborn girl. So, what does she do to play off that there isn't anything wrong with her? She numbs the pain by getting intoxicated. She wants to forget all the baggage that comes with Pandora. On her first night at Deepsilver, her new town, she gets crazy drunk. And this is where hot as heck Dominic, comes in. Pandora felt the pull as soon as she locked eyes with the stranger, who owns the hazel eyes. She's knows she's too drunk but that doesn't stop her mission to get to know this hot guy sitting at the bar. She had never done a one night stand but it's all she could do to celebrate the freedom she has at the moment. It was supposed to be just one night, but how come she couldn't stop thinking about him?

Dominic was raised by his grandmother Pearl, who's suffering from I believe Alzheimer's disease. There are times when she would walk out on the street on her on her own, forgetting everyone she's known. She loses her memories from time to time. He relies on his Uncle Alan to keep an eye on her. But sometimes he can only do so much. Dominic was on his last year of college and plans to come back home and take care of Pearl. He's got his life planned when he graduates as a physiotherapist. Call it fate or coincidence that he's just the right person who Pandora needs to ease the pain from her decease.

Second chance they meet has left Pandora very vulnerable. He becomes her go to person. She craves for him. She's all she's ever wanted, but Dominic isn't into relationships. So, they start a friendship that turn into so much than what they could've ever expected. These two were so hot for each other that it had me fanning myself the entire ride. You also get a little bits a glimpse of Leon, dark brooding sexy man I love so much from Leon's Way.

***** (5 stars) Will you open Pandora’s Box? An emotional read – wild and driven!

I can’t help but think of Pandora’s Box, and what a box Pandora has! For this Pandora, opening the box is symbolic of many things, good and bad. Her box is full of mistakes, entrapment, freedom, choices, self-discovery, growth, and love.

Pandora Wild Child is quite the emotional read. Pandora is wild and driven. She is rebellious, yet has lived a sheltered childhood with overly strict parents. College is her first taste of freedom, and she intends to enjoy it; however, how far is too far?

Sunniva Dee does a beautiful job capturing Pandora’s emotions. Pandora often fights internal battles and is constantly testing limits. Pandora never had an opportunity to explore who she is, and takes advantage of her freedom to do so. Unfortunately, Pandora doesn’t always look at the big picture and consider that her actions can have consequences for her and her medical condition or for others in her life.

The chemistry and relationship between Pandora and the other characters is amazing. Pandora’s best friends provide her with support, lift her spirits, and often are the voice of reason for Pandora. It is easy to see the love these friends have for one another. They are true friends, and remind me of some of my very dear and close friends.

Things start to get interesting for Pandora when two men come into her life. She meets Dominic and Leon, who have both set their sights on her. Pandora doesn’t think things through, and finds herself caught in an inadvertent love triangle between Dominic, who she thought would be a one-night stand, and Leon, who is a “bad boy” with a bit of an intense dark side.

Both men are hot, and Pandora doesn’t know whom she should choose. Leon draws Pandora in with her rebellious, adventuresome spirit that has been kept trapped by her parents for years, and Dominic not only helps her with the pain from her medical condition, but also turns into her anchor and grounds her.

Sunniva blew me away with the depth of emotion felt by the characters and how Pandora’s relationships with her friends and the two men in her life grew and developed. You are pulled into Pandora’s story and find yourself caught between yelling at Pandora for the choices she is making and wanting to hug her and help her find her way. Will you open Pandora’s Box and find out what is waiting in store for Pandora Wild Child?

I will start that I have not had the pleasure of reading Ms. Sunniva's work in the past but I am certainly a fan girl now!
Pandora is a beautiful, sexy, smart girl who has been emotionally scarred and damaged by those close to her. She finally has some freedom and has gone off to college with three girlfriends. She doesn't always have her own best interests at hand and has been know to make spontaneous and poor choices. She is also afflicted with the chronic condition of Sheuermann's disease that affects her muscles and joints. Her girlfriends all try to keep a watchful eye on her and always have her back.
The girls begin to frequent a local club near their apartment and soon become regulars. The owner of the bar Leon is an enigma and loves his woman broken and damaged. Pandora catches the eye of him and that also comes with a warning from the people around her to stay away from him.
The girls are out at the local haunt one evening and Pandora sets her sights on a sexy stranger. She isn't looking for everlasting ......just one night.
Dominic is a college student working his way through school as a masseuse. He can't fight this undeniable attraction to Pandora or the strong urge to protect her. Once he gets a small sample of our broken little gal he can't help but want more.
Pandora and Dominic are in quite and emotional battle. Pandora pushes away and then always seems to gravitate back to him. She doesn't want to give herself fully and can't understand why Dominic won't realize that. Let us not forget that Pandora also has caught the eye of Leon the club owner. He is a man that is used to taking what he thinks should be his. He is determined that he will always get what he wants no matter who he hurts by getting it.
Pandora doesn't always choose the right path but sometimes fate has our destiny chosen for us. Is Dominic able to guide her to that choice?
I can not wait for the next book!! The supporting cast in this book is wonderful and I am so looking forward to their books!!!
I was gifted this book for an honest review.

What a rush! This is Sunniva Dee's first contemporary novel and boy oh boy does it deliver! Pandora is just as the title suggests--WILD to the core. Yet, there's those endearing moments that makes her easy to relate to. You'll laugh at parts, really laugh at others, and your mouth will drop open more than once. You'll be happy for Pandora. Sad for her. And at times, you'll want to scream at her to try to knock some sense in her. Though, thank goodness for best friends, right Pandora? :)

There's more that's meets the eye in this book, and Dee pulls out all the stops in this one. It's a spectacular ride, and I apologize for the cliché phrase, but HOLD ONTO YOUR HATS! Pandora Wild Child does not disappoint.

Review:

I don’t usually do this in reviews, but before I get into the nitty gritty of this book and what I thought of it, I need to get it out of my system.

description

Pandora is not your typical heroine. She’s not your typical main character and I think that’s what I like most about her. She even admits at one point in the story what I’ve shown in the gif above. She is one hell of a hot mess and this book was quite honestly one hell of a ride.

There were moments in this where I wasn’t sure if I loved the hell out of her, or wanted to slap the shit out of her and while that will aggravate some people when they read, it didn’t aggravate me. I screamed at my kindle (my kindle was Pandora in this case), I was close to literally pulling my hair out of this girl and then within a few pages, I would turn around and be laughing at her antics and wondering just what this wild child was gonna do next.

I was a pretty boring teenager/young adult, so a wild child I was not, so reading this, it was like living vicariously through someone who was. I just my wild years out through Pandora. She was erratic, she was completely crazy at points, she was the life of the party, but she was also fun as hell and even though I might not do some of the things she did, make some of the choices she did, I got why she did them and damnit the girl wormed her way into my heart. I will admit though that it took me a bit to connect to her, but once there, WOW. Lol

Now Dominic. She calls him perfect and I didn’t get perfect off him, but he was pretty damn close to how I would imagine perfect in a male to be and it had nothing to do with his looks. It was his heart. Holy shit. Excuse my language really, but man, I wanted to grab onto that boy and never let go. Like Ever. The endearing name for his Grandmother (essentially his Mom) and the lengths he would go to, to take care of her and the other people he cared about…unmatched. It was powerful and wonderful and an absolute treat to read.
This was total opposites attract, but it worked. Pandora needed Dominic’s influence in her life, his stability and he needed her crazy. He needed that fun loving girl, who buried under the darkness she lived through as a child (and even as an adult cause her dad is an asshole), was a complete sweetheart. It was a perfect balance and as far as relationships go, I think they could have one hell of a happily ever after because of this balance.

Even if it didn’t, at least it keeps life interesting.

What I liked about this book aside from everything I’ve said is that I learned something at the same time as I got the enjoyment of losing myself in a story. So not only did I have this crazy ride of a book, but I also got to learn about an illness that a lot of people suffer from that I had previously known nothing about. So to the author, my hat is off to you lady. Thank you for making learning fun!

This book may not be for everyone and that’s cool, but what makes it so great for me, is that it’s not like anything I’ve read before. I cannot sit down and find one book to say “this reads like that” and for that alone, Sunniva has set the bar high because she’s given the world something original.

I will admit though, Leon was a giant bag of dicks a lot of the times in this, but there’s something there. I saw it in rare little glimpses and I can’t wait to delve into his book and see if what I saw was right.

Sunniva, you delivered one hell of a crazy ride. You earned this rating. Way to take the romance rules, throw them out the window and create one hell of a story.

Wow! Pandora sure lived up to being a wild child...

Pandora Wild Child follows the story of Pandora and Dominic. Pandora has lived her entire life, sheltered. Now, she is off to college with her three friends and is finally free of her parents watchful eyes. So, what does one do when they've been sheltered for their entire life??? They party, of course. Pandora's free spirit and carefree attitude can't help but draw people into her.....The only thing holding Pandora back is her Scheuermann's Disease. If Pandora over does it, she will be in pain and this is how Dominic enters her life for good....

Dominic: he's just taking one day at a time, biding his time at school until he has to go back home. He is instantly attracted to Pandora and can't wait to know more about her. He discovers that one night with her will never be enough. As fate would have it, Dominic works a side job as a masseuse and one of his patients is Pandora. In treating Pandora and keeping her pain-free, he becomes more captivated by her and wants to spend more time with her. But Pandora turns out to be more than he ever bargained for. Will Dominic be able to tame this wild child????

I found the story line to be very interesting. The characters had great chemistry and were easy to relate to. I liked Pandora's spirit and how she wasn't afraid to let go. She didn't always make the best decisions, but I think it all worked out in the end. There was a bit of a love triangle between Pandora, Dominic and Leon. Leon was definitely the "bad boy" and is really intense. He knew how to show Pandora a good time and certainly kept things interesting.....

Pandora Wild Child was a fun, interesting read. I enjoyed watching Pandora come into her own and discover who she really is. This book does discuss some tough issues and did have a little dark tone at times. Other than that, I though that Pandora Wild Child had some nice angst, hot chemistry and definitely steam. And I'm happy to report that it does not end with a cliffhanger :)

I LOVE PWC!! The main reason why I loved it? DOMINIC!

description

"Dominic's arms circle me and hold me as if we always nap like this. It's natural, safe. It awakens a softness in me that makes me need him more."

It was a story told with a lot of talent. I loved the dialogues! I actually really loved Pandora as well. She is strong, feisty, stubborn, crazy, loving and funny as hell, she also didn't take any crap. She stood up for herself and other people. She's not perfect. She's got faults and issues and we learn and see her sort out a lot of them here.

"I know I'm wild. I've always been wild. Which beats tail-spinning into darkness every time. When I do stuff, my thoughts are on the act. I have a blast, I entertain, and my head takes a break. It's win-win across the board."

My sweet, sweet Dominic... How I LOVED him. I want to be sick just so I can have him take care of me... *sigh* I melted with the way he cared for Pandora while she was ill. He was domineering and very much a bad boy but it was never overbearing. He was just perfect... *dreamy smile* LOVED HIM!!

"Deep in my chest, it's there, premonition-style; this-she-has the power to destroy me. Pandora. She's a wild child, and yet I want to be around her. Make her smile. Moan. Fuck."

This was a really good read, loved the characters and the writing, witty dialogue, great secondary characters, good laughs. It has everything you could want and it wasn't at all rushed. The ending was great, nothing better than an epilogue that leaves a huge smile on your face!

description

"I'm bursting with need. I still miss him even though we're together. I want him to keep saying stuff I love to hear, keep holding me, touching me. I want to go home with my Dominic and stay in bed with him all day."

The book's synopsis basically says it all....but there is SO MUCH intensity to this book plus LEON!!

Read this book! Seriously!

Holy shianikes! This. Book. Rocks.

description

The moment I picked up Pandora Wild Child, I couldn't put it down. It’s one of those reads that gets your heart fluttering from the first pages alone—I think it may be love—and it’s the kind of book that reminds me why kiss a lot of, ahem, book toads, to find.

What I loved about this story was that everything was so deliciously original. As far as main characters go, Pandora is exceptionally fun.

description

She could be brushing her teeth, and I’d still be captivated. She’s silly. She’s hilarious. She’s reckless. She’s trouble. She gets herself into messes throughout the book. But most of all, she’s endearing, and she reminds me of what it was like to be twenty—Sunniva Dee nailed the age!

The chemistry between Pandora and the men in her life (spoiler alert: there’s two and they’re both smokin’ hot!), jumped right off the page.

description

If you’re shopping for some new book boyfriends, look no further. You’ve got two right here.

And another spoiler alert, but one that a lot of you want to know about before buying: this is a HEA book, so no one has to get their panties in a bunch because of some horrible cliff hanger or unexpected tragedy that concludes the book. Oh—but I can’t promise you won’t have a book hangover. I know I had one. But book hangovers are decidedly good, in my opinion, and this one left me feeling happy long after I finished the novel!

I loved, loved, LOVED this book, and I’m seriously crossing my fingers that there’ll be a sequel or a companion story to follow because I’m SO not ready to leave this world!

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I loved the way Mrs Dee expressed her love for her family in the introduction to this book.

Pandora suffers from Scheuermann's Disease and has lived a very sheltered life within a very strict family environment. When she leaves home with her three best friends, she is almost drunk on the freedom ahead of her. Some things which happened in her upbringing have unfortunately left Psychological Scars.

Dominic is a Physiotherapy Student who works in a spa to earn extra money by giving massages to individuals who suffer from similar medical condition to Pandora. He meets Pandora in a bar one evening and she seduces him into taking her home but when she goes for her first treatment for her Scheuermann's, she discovers that he is the therapist allocated to her. They form a bond but Pandora denies any other feelings as she thinks he is too good for her because of her wild side.

Leon is the owner of the bar which becomes Pandora's favourite haunt and he is attracted to her but he is bad news! This doesn't stop Pandora from getting involved despite her friends' and Dominic's concern.

When Leon tries to control her, she fights back but he has his own ways of getting what he wants but then again she is very determined too! Can she get away from him and will she admit to her feelings for Dominic and vice versa?

I enjoyed reading this very well written book, which shows how Psychological traumas can affect your life. It was also difficult to predict what would happen next with all the twists and turns. I would recommend this great NA novel to anybody over the age of 18. Another great one Mrs Dee. Thank you.

Well, I've discovered a new favourite author. Sunniva Dee's work was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad I picked it up. At long last, here was a college story that I could relate to with less than perfect characters. When the safety-valves are off, experimentation takes place, and not all experiments are productive.
The story centres around the symbolically named Pandora, the 'wild child' female lead character of the story. Similarly to the Pandora of legend, when her box (suitcase) is opened and the demons escape, all that is left is hope.
Impulsive, headstrong, reckless, and dangerous to herself, Pandora is a hot mess/train wreck. Escaping from a sheltered life and rabidly protective father, she starts her college experience with a bang. Her wildness attracts both ends of the spectrum: positive and negative. One man that cares for her how she is and another that wants to tame her.
Filled with wonderful secondary characters and a biting insight, Pandora Wild Child is a page turner. This is a flawed heroine that makes mistakes, but owns them. If you like your books insightful, funny and a little uncomfortable, pick this up. You won't be disappointed.
Now, I'm about to start the second book: Leon.

After a couple of months of it sitting in my kindle app, I finally started reading about Pandora. A wild girl because of her traumatic punishments from daddy dearest, Pandora is testing the limits. Off to college with her 3 besties, they share an apartment in Deepsilver. They found this bar called Smother, and everything goes wild from there. With a perfect stranger, and a mess of a biker, Pandora has her life in such a mess.

I couldn't put this book down! Even if I had to endure a terrible runny nose, and blurry watery eyes! I loved how it subtly touched on trauma, and not just the "wild side" of being away from home for the first time.

I am obsessed with this author!!
This book was just amazing. I just devoured it!!
Pandora leaves for college with her three best friends. She needs to get away from her overprotective parents. She needs to put a stop to the overboard punishments her father would dole out when she would " do something wrong ".
Being stuffed in a closet when ever she did something he didn't approve of with no light has a definite negative impact on her brain! Not to mention she also has Scheuermann's disease so her back acts up and very painfully.
She meets Domenic on her first night and is instantly pulled in by him as he is by her.

This book has pretty much all... it's funny, sarcastic. There is pain, love, lust and an emotional breakdown.
Because of what her father did to her she has a dependency to whoever giver her time. She hates to be alone. Because of this dependence if she's alone well she drinks herself into oblivion.
Domenic is amazing for her he keeps her in line with school, her massages and her drinking. She is a drug to him. He cannot tell her no.
Until he needs to go back home and help with his grandmother. All hell breaks loose. She becomes unhinged and falls into the wrong hands. Leon.
Seriously this read is amazing. Physical and mental abuse is nothing short of horrific. It destroys even the hardest of people and this is what this is about. A girls journey getting painfully through the abuse and finding her way after making lots of mistakes.

Very powerful book!!

ONE HELL OF A WILD RIDE!!! I've become a huge Sunniva Dee fan. I love her work. This story is amazing. Sunniva takes you on one wild ride with Pandora's story. This wild child is determined to live it up now that she is no longer under her overprotective parents roof. Pandora is a smart, sexy, beautiful woman. But she's also reckless. She doesn't always know what's best for her. Sparks fly when she meets Dominic. Everything about him is perfect. The complete opposite of Pandora. Or so she thinks. Bad boy club owner Leon has had his sights set on her since he first saw her. She can't help being attracted to this sexy man with the piercing blue eyes. One man wants to save her and the other wants to break her. Which one will she choose? This is an exciting story you're sure to love. I know I did.

Pandora is embracing her freedom after leaving the control of her oppressive parents, she has issues related to her father's ideas about suitable punishment and over protectiveness. She has a good group of friends who try and keep her on track but at times she is out of control.

Dominic is sweet and protective, adorable from the moment we meet him. Their chemistry is off the charts but Pandora is self destructive and keeps him at arms length which leads her towards the dark and seductive force that is Leon. Even though I read this series out of order and I knew what the outcome would be this still had me on edge.

another fabulous story from Sunniva Dee, insightful in its look at oppressive and controlling relationships.

My heart is melting. Sunniva Dee got me again with this gorgeous gem that had me sighing and swooning.

There’s no false advertising with Pandora (Wild Child), a freshman college student who’s as immature and spontaneous as they come. Despite Pandora’s antics, Ms. Dee weaves her backstory and character so seamlessly that everything this young woman did made sense to me (even if she’s far beyond my own temperament.)

Enter Dominic. Sweet, mature, and oh-so-scorching hot, this man screams “stabilizing force” for a woman who’s new-found freedom becomes a bittersweet necessity she needs to control.

Dominic had my heart from the first knowing smile and held it until the end. Pandora had my sympathy as I pulled for her to fight through her demons and find “true” freedom. Together: sigh… swoon… full-on heart puddle.

Pandora’s life has been majorly sheltered. With her overprotecting parents and their extreme way of dishing out punishments, it is no surprise that when Pandora goes off to college, she becomes well, a Wild Child. Boy does this girl does like to party - big time. She is finally free and doesn't care about the consequences, at all. It’s at the local bar, Smother, where she catches the eye of not one hot, sexy guy, but two. Yeah, Ms. Dee definitely knows how to turn up the heat, and both these guys are HOT. But each one is entirely different and each wants different things from Pandora. Dominic is always there to catch Pandora when thing are a little off for her (okay a LOT off). Pandora really likes him but feels that he is too ‘perfect’ for her. Leon is the owner of Smother and it is rumored that he likes his girls ‘broken’. Yeah, Leon is into some kinky shit, and he feels like Pandora would be perfect with him. Not because she is breakable, but because she just doesn't give a shit, just like him. Leon is the bad boy that will make every parent cringe, and that makes him more attractive to Pandora – anything to piss off the parents. But who will win her heart?

Pandora Wild Child is one thrilling, edge of your seat, nail biting, emotional story! While I was reading this, I was literally screaming, laughing and shaking my head at Pandora’s escapades. As a parent, I cringed at her activities, but also understood her need to want to be free – to experience life to the fullest. It was really awesome to ‘see’ her grow up right before my eyes and realize the error of her ways and really want to be a better, more responsible person.

I totally fell in love with Dominic, but really the character that won my heart over was his grandmother – such a fun lady! Dominic was so kind and caring toward this woman and it made me love him so much more. Not only was he patient and kind with his grandmother, he was patient and kind with Pandora - which is really what she needed at that stage of her life.

Leon on the other hand - gosh - what a mess! He just liked to control. Everything. In his business and in the bedroom. But his controlling ways kind of reminded me of Pandora's father, and to me that is just not going to work in a relationship. Pandora was just trading one father for another. Not.Good.At. All.

You're probably wondering if this book is about one big love triangle. Well, no it's really not and that's about all I am going to say about it because saying too much will just spoil it. What I will say though is that this story is really about one girl just trying to figure out which direction she needs to take in her life. The journey is wild and crazy, but it's one I am glad I took and one that will stay with me for quite some time.

Overall, I totally LOVED this story! Sunniva Dee certainly knows how to write a story that will keep you turning the pages, wanting to know MORE. And the ending – WOW – totally amazing! This one does not end in a cliffhanger, but it does lead the way for a sequel starring one of the leading hot men in Pandora Wild Child, and I for one CAN NOT wait for its release. If you like to read a coming of age story that is edgy, funny and dare I say, WILD, then Pandora Wild Child is a MUST read!

My 4.5 star review!
Review copy provided.

This was such a unique story and not at all what I expected. Since we already have a synopsis I'm not going to recap the story.

Pandora (h) was definitely a mess she didn't know what she wanted except to party be free and LIVE, away from her overbearing parents. And saying she's a wild child is putting it lightly. The first night out she gets totally wasted and doesn't come home. I love how she wasn't painted like a damsel in distress. I loved the girl and hated her. She had so many issues...clearly with ADHD that she denied and then with her Scheumann's disease. She lived a sheltered life and one that left her with many scars. Her parents were almost abusive in a way, for sure mentally. It's hard to explain without spoiling anything but the book and detail of what her father did to her made me imagine it in my own mind and fearing for her. Pandora made some really bad decisions and kept pushing the person (Dominic) she wanted most in her life away but as soon as she pushed she needed him back. She had no confidence in herself to keep him around and be with him. She felt she wasn't good enough.

Dominic (H) meets Pandora her first night and is totally taken back by her. He doesn't know what to make of her but it's like he has to find out what she's about. Then by some miracle she is his client and that's when the dynamic of the relationship changes. Something about her keeps him coming back no matter how hard she pushes him away. And Dominic has his own issues for not wanting to fight for her and keep her at a distance. She keeps coming back and asking for help and he keeps responding not be able to let go. I felt this while reading it, the constant struggle they were having to stay away from each other and the pull towards each other again.

Then there was Leon who is obsessed with having Pandora and this creates a different kind of love triangle. Pandora wants to get Dominic out of her system so she keeps hooking up with Leon. I really love how this was written because you know Pandora doesn't feel anything for Leon but she uses him to feel controlled or almost like a father figure (not a good one). And the scary thing is he acted a lot like her controlling father. Ugh it's hard to explain, you just have to read it to get it, which I recommend doing. :)

I have to say I didn't love Pandora and I really disliked Leon but I don't think you have to love the characters to love a book and I love loved Dominic! Yeah he pissed me off with how he handled his boss but I got how hard it was for him to stand up for himself.

Great book that I definitely recommend, so get your New Adult on!

A compelling novel about a girl so wild, only one man can tame her.

Sunniva has done it AGAIN!
She has managed to write another book that, not only, drew me in with the very first paragraph, but also got me so emotionally involved I yelled, pouted, jumped for joy, cheered, and almost cried like a baby.
Pandora is incredibly feisty, determined, and sometimes naive, but more than anything she is a wild child. I'm pretty sure if you looked up the definition of wild child in the dictionary you'd see her picture. Pandora just moved to Deepsilver with her three besties: Destiny, Shannon, and Mica.
Destiny and Mica? I don't want to let loose any spoilers for those who haven't read it, let's just say I loved these two, and their storyline. Destiny, Pandora's "conscience", is easy-going, and very insightful.
Mica, is the partner-in-crime friend. She helps you get into all sorts of trouble, but you got to love her because she is, in a word, unique.
As for Shannon, this Libra with an evil-twin Gemini side, can be the voice of reason, or the friend to lift your spirits when you're down. These four muskateers moved to Deepsilver to help Pandora escape her unbelievably, and sometimes annoying, overprotective parents.
You see, Pandora has Scheuermann's Disease, a dreadful skeletal disorder, that can cause intense pain in your spine. For her to get any relief she has to go to a physiotherapist.
Now, no book is complete without some delicious eye candy. Enter Dominic, and Leon.
Hot, sexy Dominic. This guy could have me on my back faster than you could say I've fallen and I can't get up. Yup, he's that good with his hands. Dominic has a good heart, he's kind, and sweet, but he can be bad-like-the good-sexy-dirty kind of bad. The kind of bad that gives you the oh-my-god-I-see-stars orgasms. Yep, he's that yummy.
Then you have Leon. The bad-boy biker who you want to resist, but damn it if you can't. With those eyes, and that face, why the hell would you? Overprotective parents.
Sassy, lovable friends.
Ice cream pity fests.
College grades to keep up.
And deliciously sexy guys.
Little Miss Wild Child sure does have her hands full.

I'm absolutely positively sure you will love this fan-f*cking-tabulous book, just as much as I did.

*I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.*

Usually new adult or contemporary romance novels are not my thing. However, this is a Sunniva Dee new adult novel, so the rules are bent. Now, I had the pleasure of reading Shattering Halos and absolutely loved it. I loved Sunniva’s style of writing and how the words and emotions just seem to flow along the pages. As you are reading, you are experiencing most of these emotions along with the characters. It’s that reason that I chose to read a new adult romance novel when I normally wouldn’t.

Pandora is a fucked up chick. I mean, take your version of a fucked up 19 year old and max that out times 100. She has a bone disease called Scheuermann’s that wreaks havoc with her spine. She’s been protected for most of her life and she is so ready to be done with that. But, she doesn’t understand the difference between letting go and spiraling out of control. She thinks she’s letting go, but she’s in a deep tail spin nose dive right for the ground. Her friends don’t know what to do to help; her therapist doesn’t know what to do. They all try to help yet can’t seem to make her understand the damage that she is doing to herself. However, they don’t know the deep, dark secrets that she’s carrying around and having to live with every day of her life.

I understood Pandora really well in this book. I understood what she was going through and how she was trying to be what people wanted but couldn’t anymore. There is a limit within all of us that when reached, you can’t turn back. Once you head down a path of self-pity and self-hatred, it’s really tough to come back to reality. No one understands that better than other people who have been there and suffered that set back. Friends, family, doctors, no one can pull you out unless you want to be out. It’s something you have to decide for yourself and mean it. The toughest part is the follow through. We can all say “I’m going to do this today” but how many of us really have the courage and the balls to actually go through with it? Not many. I gave Pandora Wild Child 5 books.

Pandora has lived far too long in the sheltered house of her neurotic parents. Starting college finally gives her the chance to be free and to live a life full of choices. Unfortunately for Pandora, those choices become far to easy to make on the back side of creme de menthe. Will Pandora learn from her mistakes? Or is she doomed to keep herself locked in a cycle, with no way out?

Dominic can't help but notice the Pandora on her first night at his favorite club, Smother. She commands attention from every person in the room, alluring all with her over the top excitement and almost giddy innocence. Not to mention her amazing body and killer smile. When that first night ends with Pandora in Dominic's bed, they both chalk it up to a one night stand. As fate continues to pull these two together and intertwine their lives, can they fight the attraction? Can Dominic tame Pandora or will her rebellious streak tear them apart?

Pandora has captured Leon's attention too. He is a far cry from the good man Dominic is and Pandora finds herself being warned from friend and enemy alike to STAY AWAY. But what is that saying about the moth to the flame? Just as life begins to pull Dominic and Pandora apart, it seems to be leading her to Leon and she can feel the spark of desire. Will Pandora heed the warnings and leave Leon alone, or will Leon's charm prove too much to resist?

"Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes." - Mahatma Gandhi

THIS BOOK WAS H-O-T! I absolutely loved the characters and the development of Pandora's character especially! I was enthralled by the end of chapter one and ended up reading the book in one sitting (dishes be damned)!! If you are a reader that doesn't like the average-cookie-cutter love story, than this book is perfect for you. Although this book was long, I never felt that I was bored or impatient for it to end. If anything, I am already anxiously waiting for the next installment. 100% recommend this book to all!

Review by Natasha Gentile

When I read the blurb for this book I was super excited and the reviews were through the roof.

I’m free. Fucking free!
I’m in college with my best friends and far, far from home!
With my Scheuermann’s disease as the excuse, my father kept me locked up at home all through high school. Here in Deepsilver, I can finally be me, Pandora, so—
Why the hell should I hold back?

So Ms. Wild Child is free from her abusive father, and yes I say abusive even though no hitting was involved. He was borderline kick him in the balls and call 911, wait not borderline, it should have been done. What we learn about Pandora is that she has had issues in the past. She has ADHD, which she decided she's grown out of, although that may not be the best decision she could make.

She is free to do as she pleases and she pretty much does. She gets crazy stupid drunk, I’m not talking about a one shot deal here, I’m talking about all the time, party over here kind of drunk.

I’m on top of the world!

Well if you drink enough mint schnapps you will be on top of the world, and in the bottom of the porcelain tank, we call the toilet.

She is also semi free with herself. I’m not talking slutty, so she gets drunk and has a fling, I mean we've all done it right? I haven’t but I’m assuming this is what the younger generation is doing. She meets Dominic, who can I say, helped complete this story.

Perfect Dominic. Beautiful, graduating, soon-to-move-on-with-his-life Dominic.

So one night in and they are dingo the mambo horizontally. And this starts their journey into I lust you, I lust you not. You’re a liar, you’re not a liar. It was just a little too much back and forth. And if this wasn’t enough drama, send in another guy to stir the pot. There may have been a few too many ingredients in this soup. Pandora, even at the end of this story, was still too wild for me as a character. Although I have to say, Dominic was one yummy guy. I would have liked for their relationship to have developed more.

Pandora Wild Child by Sunniva Dee was an excellent read in my book, coming in at 4 Wild Child stars!! It is written in a dual point of views of Pandora and Dominic and also added snippets from Leon's point of view thrown in here and there. I was in a bit of a book slump before I started Pandora Wild Child and this one definitely got me out of it because I started it yesterday and finished today!

"My life's a mess, and I love it, fear it, hate it." - Pandora

Pandora Cancemi is as the book title says a "wild child". She, along with a bunch of her closest friends move away to attend college. They are living in a place that her father bought for them and the rules are that she gets passing grades or he will sell it and she will have to move back home. Pandora was diagnosed with ADHD when she was younger and she also suffers from Scheuermann's, which is a debilitating disease that causes unnatural curvature of the spine. She needs to see a physiotherapist on a regular basis and this is where she meets Dominic.

"Deep in my chest it's there, premonition style; this-she-has the power to destroy me. Pandora. She's a wild child, and yet I want to be around her. Make her smile. Moan."-Dominic

Dominic Davide is currently going to college for physiotherapy and working at Elysium Spa until he gets his degree. The owner, Geraldine and Dominic have a little agreement that might just cause problems down the road. His seventy-four year old grandmother is on the verge of being put into a nursing home by his uncle. This comes as a big concern and he needs to go home and find out what is really going on. While he is gone Leon steps in. Pandora may just change her wild ways or dig herself in deeper.

"Now how much prettier would you look tied to my bedpost?"-Leon

POWERFUL is one word to describe Pandora Wild Child

This amazing story revolves around Pandora and Dominic whom I just love by the way LOL.
Pandora does not have an easy life. She has been sheltered by her parents and desperate to break free from their controlling arms. Pandora is so excited to get to college where she can experience life, she can go wild, she does not have to check in with her mom and dad and most importantly she can live!!
The one thing that this story brings to life is the effects that Scheurermann’s Disease causes. I must admit I had never heard of this until this book and it has opened my eyes to how people can cope with this disease.
This is the only thing that hinders Pandora at times. If she does too much she suffers terrible pain. It is here that we meet Dominic and his hands….
Dominic is very relaxed and easy going and only takes one day at a time. The attraction between Pandora and Dominic is instant and Dominic knows himself that he will never get his fill of Pandora.
Dominic works as a masseuse and boy is he good with his hands, honestly I wanted them on me while reading this book. This is how he and Pandora get together, Dominic starts by helping Pandora with her pain release and he soon realises that he is caught up in her spell and is absolutely smitten by Pandora.
The story is called Pandora Wild Child!!!!! And oh boy is she ever, well who wouldn’t be with controlling parents like she has but the bigger question now is… will Dominic be able to keep Pandora to himself ?????

This is a great story and one you should read but I don’t want to give too much away so I am just going to say
GO BUY THIS BOOK.

I loved this book. This was one of those books that I found my self yelling at the characters. I loved all the characters. We get the POV of Pandora, Dominic, and Leon. Pandora is a college student that has very overprotective parents. The way her father dealt with her rebelling against their rule was not the best way and it has cause problems in Pandora's life. She's free from her parents and get pretty wild and drinks a lot. Pandora is a very easy character to like, she is like the typical the college student that final gets a little freedom from her overbearing parents.

Dominic is in his last year of college. At first I didn't really like Dominic, he seemed like a player that really didn't care about anything. But boy was I was wrong about Dominic, it only took me a few page to fall in love with him. He works a lot and has a Grandma has is ill. He is trying to make sure his Grandma that doesn't live close is taken care of.

When Pandora and Dominic hook up and sparks fly. Pandora and Dominic are great together. Leon is a club owner and everyone warns Pandora to stay away from him but when things get rough with Dominic, Leon moves in. I'm not really sure how I feel about Leon. I didn't think he was right for Pandora but I hope he get a HEA.

Pandora Wild Child is a must read!

I struggled to finish this book. Pandora is not a wild child, she's an alcoholic living with a group of enabling friends. She gets blackout drunk night after night and makes horrible, potentially dangerous decisions. Her "friends" not only support her, they encourage it. She had a potentially debilitating disease for which she takes little care, but what irritated me most was the flippant mentions of "Childhood ADHD" (which she supposedly outgrew). I have 2 ADHD kids. There is a heck of a lot more to it than an overly active child, and it is not something that goes away. You can learn to manage and develop strategies to overcome the challenges, but one doesn't outgrow it like baby teeth.

Pandora treats Dominick horribly throughout the book, ignoring his calls and texts. I have no idea why he put up with it. They had the beginnings of a relationship, but it never seemed to get there.

I'm not interested in reading Leon's story.
