It was mostly meh. The only thing I did like is the heroine didn't just shrug and say ok when the heroes were shifters.

The whole part with the ending and the bad guys was BS. So, meh.

This is new to me, I have read multiple partners before, but not the reverse harem. It's an interesting concept that one woman could handle 4 men for a long term relationship. I love shifter stories though so it makes sense with their biological instincts that it could work out.

This story ticks off some of my favorite things so I gave it a shot:

Strong independent female lead
Alpha man [men] that isn't turned off or tries to change the woman's strength
SHIFTERS...purring kitties
A fast paced story that keeps me glued

Jeanine runs into four Navy SEALs, who happen to also be Jaguar shifters, during her own undercover operation to find her friend. and who all see Jeanine as their ‘mate’. It has an exciting and fast paced plot and great characters. The guys: Ryker, Gunner, Kane and Damon are undercover as body guards but when they get close to Jeanine some funny feelings start to happen.

I loved the slow discovery and realization that she was their mate. The Doctor was an interesting twist, and their physical struggles had me glued to the pages. I couldn't put this book down once I started and finished it all in one day.

I am rating this a 4.5 because it kept my attention the entire time, but I couldn't go for a straight up 5 because there were a few editing errors and I would have like to have seen more detail during the rescue. More, more, more!

Action and an adventure and some romance

This was a really good storyline, I loved the action, and an adventure and the bit of romance all mixed together but one wasn't more than the other!

Pretty good

This story has merit but the miss-wording and typo threw me off some and it seemed to be missing something between the guys being taken and rescued.

With the party-goers drunk, Jeanine was able to sneak around and poke into things a little better, only having to watch out for Aedan Morgan’s four sexy bodyguards stationed around the yacht. Jeanine, an investigative journalist, is on her own private mission to find out what happened to her old college roommate, Surma. Ryker, Gunner, Kane and Damon, Morgan’s bodyguards, are all Navy SEALs likewise on a mission involving the drug runner and pirate, Morgan.

Jeanine sneaked into Morgan’s office to look around, but all the desk drawers were locked. Using a metal nail file, she opened a drawer and found a journal, taking pictures of each page. She also grabbed the thumb drives and hid them in her bra, just as the door rattled. Three of the bodyguards catch Jeanine in Morgan’s office and he comes in behind them to see what she may have found. With some fancy gymnast moves, Jeanine raced past them out the cabin door, only to run into a 4th bodyguard. Ryker checked that everyone was off the ship, then had Gunner grab the girl as a huge explosion sounded and they raced to a powerboat. Damon started to ask about shifting to escape, but Ryker said no because of the woman they had to get off the yacht. Kane and Damon raced to get the boat clear of the sinking yacht. When the yacht shifted again, threatening to trap them, Ryker told them to go, leaving him behind. With his escape hole under water now, diesel fuel blocking his sight, he shifted so that his jaguar senses would take over and let him escape certain death. He did not want to be the Navy SEAL who drowned on a mission!

Although the men will keep her safe, Jeanine is unaware that she is depending on four sexy jaguar shifters who have each scented her as their mate and want her. When the truth is revealed, how will she deal with that? And how will she accept the fact that ALL of them want her as their mate? Is she willing to walk away from what could be exactly what she needs? Will she find her missing friend with the evidence she grabbed from the sinking yacht?

This was an outstanding book! The story line had excellent fast pacing, the tension keeping the reader thoroughly involved as it played out. The characters were well depicted as they each showed their personality through their actions. Don’t miss this exciting, terrific story and see whether our strong, independent heroine is prepared to make a decision on her greatly enhanced future!

Omg what a great book I couldn’t put it down. This story starts with 4 navy seals Ryker, Damon, Gunner,Kane on a boat in the Caribbean near St Lucia prending to be bodyguards to an evil man named Aedan Morgan not only is he a pirate at sea but a drug lord and a kidnapper as well. And that’s where Jeanine comes into it she is searching for her friend Surma that’s gone missing and was last seen with this evil man, while gathering information she is caught but manages to hide the info in her bra. Then all hell breaks loose and the ship is sinking and the guys have no choice but to take her with them. Now in a small dingy the men find themselves unable to stop the attractions they all have for her and being Jaguar shifters there animals start calling her mate. Once Jeanine is let in on what’s going on and what they all are she doesn’t handle it well and is scared but in her heart she knows that won’t hurt her and finds comfort in that and now they want to share her, how can she be with all these men together. With there mission completed and the man in question dead and they are saved they are ordered to go with Dr Melkots men for more testing and they walk away from her without looking back, this Jeanine doesn’t understand they said they would protect her forever something is not right, why would they leave. There is so much more I could say and write about this amazing book but get this book and read it for yourself you won’t be disappointed.

This is not my typical reading fare but I enjoyed the writing and fast action in this paranormal tale. Jade Alters penned an exciting venture into the international drug criminal Morgan who was being stalked by a journalist Jeanine looking for her best friend Surma who was kidnapped by said drug criminal. The action takes place on a boat in the Caribbean - St Lucia.There are four bodyguards on duty during this boat party and Jeanine interacts with one of them as she tried to search the boat looking for a clues to locate her friend. She is discovered and taken off the boat by the four bodyguards as they have set C4 to blow up the boat. They take Jeanine with them to save her. While on their boat Jeanine discovers they are U.S. Navy SEALS. Their op was to secure the criminal Morgan and gather Intel as to his operations. During a storm while bouncing around in high waves Jeanine discovers these SEALS are not what they appear to be. Unfortunately, one of them shows her their secret and it terrorizes her as he morphs into an animal shifter. There is much more adventure in store for the reader and I highly recommend you pick up this exciting book.

I enjoyed this book by Jade Alters, a Military Shifter Reverse Harem Romance. Featuring one strong independent women, Jeanine and four Navy SEALs, who happen to also be Jaguar shifters and who all see Jeanine as their ‘mate’. It has an exciting and fast paced plot and great characters. The four sexy Jaguar shifters, Ryker, Gunner, Kane and Damon are all ‘Alpha male’ and rescue Jeanine from a drug smugglers fancy boat only to end up stranded in a life raft together in the middle of the sea, not the ideal setting for Jeanine to discover her four rescuers are in fact Jaguar shifters, oh and her ‘mate’. However Jeanine, an undercover journalist seems to take her rescuers and her adventure in her stride and I loved seeing the relationship between Jeanine and each of her mates develop. It doesn’t have a cliffhanger ending but does have a happy one. This is another one of Alters paranormal reverse harem romance books that I just couldn’t put down!

Jeanine is on a yacht where she has crashed a party. She;s trying to find the dirt on Aedan Morgan, the leading suspect in disappearances and piracy of Interpol. While trying to find his office she heads to the ladies;s room asking directions from a hunky bodyguard. When she finds the office she finds some info only to be caught by another bodyguard just as hunky as the first. Then a third comes to help. She tries to get away only to be caught by another guard. Only something happens, these guards are taking over the yacht and her and the criminal. They set off the charges and left with Jeanine. Only one was left behind and he had to shift to his animalto survive. Gunner;s inner jaguar insists she;s theirs. One by one each man;s jaguar does also. Oh my Jeanine is totally in over her head and now she;s with four sexy Navy Seals who draw her to them. Now hopefully she;ll survive the next few days or weeks!

I really enjoyed this book. Jeanine is an investigative journalist and loyal friend. Her best friend is missing, and regardless of the danger, she is going to find her. Instead she ends up kidnapped, almost drowned in a storm, mated to 4 men and still looking for her friend. This book had a definite twist in that the shifters really knew little of their past, as all were either adopted or grew up in foster care. Yet, each ends up pursued by the military, on the same team, the same type of animal, yet kept from other seal teams. Jeanine spotted what none of them could see - the military had a team to do their bidding. Jeanine finds her friend Surma, but things are not as clear cut as they seem.The seals end up imprisoned in order to start a shifter breeding program. There comes Jeanine to the rescue. She is feisty and just what the men need.

I am really enjoying the action-packed romances Ms. Alters has been providing. Shifters are one of my favorite subjects and add in the fact that they are SEALS and I was hooked from the blurb. Better than that, it did not disappoint. Jeanine goes off on her own to find her friend that disappeared and gets captured in the process. She is taken by the security force on the ship before it sinks. She may be afraid, but that doesn't stop her from voicing her not happy opinions. I will admit that learning that shifters are real in a raft in the ocean in a storm is probably not the optimal way to go, but with no where to go Jeanine had time to consider everything. I liked that they did decide to include her in the rescue of her friend. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.

ONE HEART STOPPING READ!!!
WOW! Oh man, talk about hard hitting. This is one exciting, action packed, fast paced, pulse racing, heart pounding, page turning delight that captivates from start to finish. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, ins and outs, along with a few unexpected circumstances make for one incredible adventure. The pressure is on, the tension high, the suspense and danger builds throughout as the story unfolds. One thrilling storyline with an incredible plot really pulls this bad boy together flawlessly. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it brings this bad boy roaring to life brilliantly. Remarkable job Jade, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.

At first I couldn’t quite get into it but that was my fault because I was distracted because once I settled down and started really reading it the book opened up , the plot and the characters grabbed me.
It was a perfect action packed give and take of the characters. They played off of each other and the scenes flowed together flawlessly.
And as any devout reader knows every book needs a villain, hero’s and a heroine. Which this book delivers. In fact we have not one but four handsome hero’s.
I quite like this book and can’t wait for the next in the series. I recommend this book for others reading enjoyment.

What do you get when you mix one gutsy journalist with four jaguar shifter Navy Seals on a mission? You get a book packed full of action, danger, steam and humor. I loved Janine. She was spunky with an inner fire that allowed her to stand up for herself. She was also determined to find her friend no matter what she would have to face. The guys were each different in personality and looks but the same when it came to brotherhood, loyalty, honor and being drawn to their mate. They will give you a few laughs. I enjoyed this fast moving book and cringed with the way the guys were treated.. I look forward to seeing if this group meets up with the groups from the other books.

Great read

Jeanine is a journalist but is out on a mission of her own to find her missing friend. Ryker, Gunner, Kane and Damon are all navy seals on a mission. Jeanine meets the guys when they are on the same yacht after the same guy. Ryker, Gunner, Kane and Damon's mission goes sideways and they end up kidnapping Jeanine. What Jeanine doesnt know is she's now in the hands of four sexy jaguar shifters who all want her for themself. What Will happen when she finds out what they are? How will she react to all them wanting her as a mate? Will they find her friend? Will they get a HEA?

4.5⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really really enjoyed this sexy adventure romance. This is my favourite of Jade Alters books so far. I was completely engaged, loved the characters, the guys were all so different and had their own quirks which made laugh at times. Jeanine was a good character, a bit changeable at times, but she obviously had chemistry with the guys. The military/science aspect of using the shifters as guinea pigs was completely believable, there's always an ulterior motive with people in power. I look forward to hopefully reading more in this series.

Jeanine was trying to find her friend who has disappeared because of some criminal. She thought she had blended in at the yacht party but she got caught in some extraction explosion with 4 hot guys who kind of kidnapped her and would not let her go back to town! Who were these guys? They kept purring!!! Then there's a storm! And one looks like a cat! And they keep saying 'mate'! Jeanine does not know that Ryker, Kane, Gunnar, and Damon are jaguar shifter Navy SEALs on a mission who have ALL fallen for her. A delightful, dangerous adventure of a reverse harem. Enjoy.

Jennie was a little bit in shock when she found out the the guys were are shifters and it took a while till she came to terms with it. She had feelings for all of them and she did not understand how that could happen with the four of them. All 4 of the guys had the good looks that Jennie would not ingore and she wanted them all. Ryker, Gunner, Damon and Kane all wanted her and they also did not understand how all 4 were her mates. They had the twist and turns with the bad guys but they came out good in the end.

Good read

Good read with action and a little bit of steam. The characters personalities were all different which helped keep the separation of the 4 men. There were certain points in the story where I felt it was rushed and conflicting such as the sudden acceptance in the cave scene. Just prior to that, she ran away from Ryker after refusing to acknowledge the “mate for all 4” idea, then she was suddenly all in without a second though. Speaking of the cave scene, it seemed pretty rushed for such a monumental decision.
It was still a good and quick read that I would recommend to readers who are looking for shifters, RH, and a quick story with a happily ever after.

Danger, sneaky action and steamy romance abound in this collection of great reads

This was a great set of stories. There's no disappointment of characters, world building, edgy danger, shifting secrets or the ton of steamy romance. Each book is a journey to love that's complicated, full of adventure and drama, and yet they are also very unique stories that really have action and tension right from the get-go. I found myself sucked right in to each and I thoroughly enjoyed the wild ride they all went on to try and not only survive, defeat the bad guys but end up with a steamy HEA. Good fun!

In this military shifter reverse harem, we find out about a pirate named Morgan. Where do we find him? Who is the investigative journalist we are following? Who smells of Sandalwood and Musk? Who are the bodyguards? What is happening to them? Oh.... my... the end of the 1st chapter was interesting! Who are the four bodyguards? The bodyguards are too funny! Jeanine's reaction to them is a hoot. Oh, my gosh... it was so fun listening to this story> The male reader made it interesting!

Jeanine, was on the yacht to get intel on the owner and trying to find her friend Surma. What she got in exchange of that was four hot and massive Seals, all were unique in there own way. Instead of getting her story and going her own way, she ends up caught in an action pack life and death situation with four seals that all want her. While the seals are looking to take down a man Jeanine is still looking for her friend. Regardless of which way they go there's always an obstacle in the way. But what happens when four seals get what they thought they would never want?

I loved this book. A great storyline that was gripping and entertaining, and filled with action, drama, suspense, and romance. It drew me in from the beginning and held my attention until the end. I really liked the characters. They all shared a connection and the chemistry between them was undeniable. So overall a great shifter story that was definitely enjoyable. Action, Sassiness, and more. This is a different story line on shifters. Jeanine is a journalist looking for her friend, when she is on the Yacht and four bodyguards catch her snooping. Then the yacht gets blown up and the bodyguards save her. Now the bodyguards are navy seals. Can they get her to safety? Can they save them all during a storm? What will she do when she finds out what they really are?

Mated to Team Shadow is another fantastic book by Jade Alters.

This Reverse Harem book will not disappoint you! I love the interaction between Jeanine and her men. The men has little knowledge of their past as all being adopted, all were pursued by the military. Jeanine was rescued by the guys and happen to be the mate of all of them.

A different twist in the shifter world, great chemistry between the characters, I love their interaction, the steam and story line! A definite must read!

An exciting addition to the series

Jeanine, a journalist, gets into a situation while pursuing a story and needs rescuing by Team Shadow, a SEAL team that consists of Ryker, Kane, Damon and Gunner who all have a secret. As the story progresses her situation gets worse, all the secrets come out and adjustments need to be made by all. I am looking forward to the next group Jade Alters throws together.

Love jaguar shifters. This book will make you laugh for sure, even if there is plenty of serious situations, but it make you laugh still (try not to laugh if 4 guys purrs LOL). Jeanine is strong determined woman, and you can’t rule her. And our 4 “kitties” are strong real men, typical alpha types. Plot is interesting as well. Jade Alters did it again, she wrote book which sucked me in, and made me sneak my ebook on my computer screen during work.

Jeanine is a reporter looking for a friend and ends up in the arms of 4 hot jaguar shifters. Team Shadow has never had a woman come between them when all of the sudden all of their Jaguars are claiming Jeanine as their mate. This is a good, well written story. Jeanine is a strong character who doesn't give in easily. There is lots of action and some really hot sexy times in this book. I really enjoyed this book.

Here pretty

She' s looking for her missing friend. They are on a secret op to eliminate the scum of the earth. When they combine forces ending up on the same mission. In between completing the mission the five of them are felling each other out to see if one women would be enough for four men. And in the mean time the scum of the earth rears his angry head. If you like reverse harem shifter love/adventure stories you will love this one!
