1-800-CallLoki is a collection of novellas featuring Loki, Norse god of Mischief. Loki has been sentenced to centuries on Midgard (Earth) trying to find redemption after his part in the death of Baulder. But it turns out that may not be the whole story...

The stories are fast-paced but also occasionally metaliterary and philosophical, which makes for an enjoyable contrast. Loki is, of course, an attractive character, and there's plenty of mischief as well as mayhem. For fans of Norse mythology and humorous fantasy.

Was this basically Norse mythology fanfiction?

Yes.

Was it fun?

Also yes.

I mean, technically Neil Gaiman also wrote Norse fanfiction, so who cares. This was very fun, and I'm honestly surprised my library had what appears to be a very indie ebook, but I'm glad they did.
