Constance Stellas DEFINITELY knows what she’s talking about! As I was reading, I was highlighting key points (with a pink highlighter) and was flabbergasted to find that many of her tips, I had actually implemented in my life already in an effort to incorporate self-care in my life. If you’re a Taurus, PLEASE read this! I counted and found that 56 of the tips, I had practiced in the last year!
This pretty little book was surprisingly accurate in its description of Taurean characteristics, and interestingly as I read through the suggestions for self-care practices I realized that I already do quite a few of them! That really made this book resonate with me, and although some of the suggested activities naturally didn't appeal (at least at this point in my life), I found lots of new ideas to try, as well as some new insights into who I am. Highly recommend!
Not all of these ideas resonated with me right now, but what appeals to us does shift depending on our mood and circumstances. There were definitely some good suggestions that I hadn't thought of before and quite a few things that I enjoy which I'd forgotten about. I'm grateful to this book for sparking some ideas and inspiration for self care! I'm planning to read the self care book for my moon sign (Capricorn) in this series next.
This was spot on on most of what it said.. the good and the not so good. Some of what I didn't agree with we're the self care tips, some were just not me as far as what I would like to do at all. Some were different or outside of my comfort zone, but I would maybe try them. Also, it could be that because I'm a Taurus.. I'm stubborn too. But, I don't think that you're supposed to do all of them.. pick what works best for you.
This book was precious and just right. It affirmed some things in me like my loves for singing, rhythm, music, dancing, and plants, while also teaching me new things that could be helpful to me like certain scents, colors, and gems. I know it is about self care, but I now would like to read the other books in this series to know how I can provide the ones I love with specialized attention and care.
Audiobook while driving my delivery route. Loved this. Really helps me understand myself better. Also fulfilling because it speaks to my person and how I have felt all along. Any Taurus needs this book and I think it’s a great book for beginners trying to figure out their self worth and purpose. ~TerribleTeaArtistry
This was a cute little read. I’m not into astrology but I still enjoyed the contents of this book, especially the section on self care rituals. I found them to be quite useful and found myself actually doing some of them. The background on what Taurus means was also very interesting.
This is a sweet little novelty book. I bought it as a whim at a spiritual book store and enjoyed it. There is one for each Zodiac sign. They make great gifts.
Cute tips. It repeats itself quite a few times, but has a cute list of activities and things to do in order to relax. My favorite activity mentioned was organizing your closet by color!
All in all this was a good and quick read. It spoke to the traits of my sign and gave some really good ways to care for and pamper myself. Was a tad bit repetitive at time, but all in all it spoke to my sign. All hail the mighty, fiery yet gentle bull. ♉
I saw Lala (Booksandlala) read a similar book for her recent video and I was curious to check it out. While I don't really believe in Astrology I found this book to make some good suggestions on how to take time for yourself and relax. I will definitely try some of these in the future.
