This rating is a reflection of the smuttiness of this story. There's almost no character development because it's so short and the plot is not unique. This is just a short erotic romance. Nothing wrong with that but definitely not what I was in the mood for.

Awesome story!!
Lauren is on the run and while coming out of a bathroom she gets assaulted by some guy trying to steal her bag. Wolf steps in and saves her, but he knows he can't bring her into his life cause she's too good for him so he walks away. When he sees her for a second time he has to save her again from a rival MC, so he takes her to his clubhouse. To find out what Lauren is running from and whether or not Wolf can help her, you're going to have to read this story. It's a great read and I highly recommend it!

A girl on the run and a hot biker makes for a great quick read.
Lauren is on the run when she has an interaction with the hot biker. Wolf is the president of an MC club. The one that rivals the one that is after Lauren. He doesn’t understand why he’s drawn to her but now he knows he has to protect her. Great story, there’s suspense, someone running for their life, a hot biker swooping in to save the day. What more could you ask for? I really liked Wolf and Lauren’s story. Made me want more.

A little careless, and a lot unbelievable.
I liked the story. It was a good idea. It has some wrong words and wrong tenses going on here. There are also cases of run on words -- two words or more altogether without a space between. Careless proofreading.
The worst is the unbelievability at the end. How a confrontation with another club who outnumbers them, leaves them the victors...? And putting the h with a broken arm, bleeding, and likely a concussion, on the back of his bike to take home. Uh, no. Not buying it, nor anymore books.

I was a little leary about picking this up because most of the time authors use the word dominant to describe an H they really mean a Christian Grey type. Fortunately for me, this author actually meant dominant in the sense intended by the word.
Now, there's far too much screaming and shrieking, and a few typos but I won't rate based on that.
The story is bite sized with lots of action and angst, and I enjoyed it very much.

Wolf meets Lauren when he rescues Lauren from a would-be thief/possible rape. They are immediately attracted to each other & he fingers her to an orgasm in an empty hallway. Wolf kisses her & he takes her to the clubhouse. They fall in love & he asks her to be his Old Lady.

I’m sorry, I really did wanna give this a decent shot. I’m gonna give this 1.75⭐️.
It would have been ok if everything wasn’t too much. For example if their first physical interaction had only just been a kiss it would have been more believable.
Then some of their 🌶️ scenes didn’t seem to make sense physically.
I didn’t like the fmcs self-pitying inner monologue. Nor her rash and fundamentally stupid and immature decision making.

I don't normally review books, but I needed to give an explanation. I really like spice in books. However, when the FMC gets fucked in the first 13 pages by a total stranger and becomes possessive within what would be about an hour or two in the book, I can't keep it up. The spice is ridiculous at times. The story line is good, I need more plot development to get to the good stuff.

Short and Sweet
This was an entertaining afternoon read for me. The romantic suspense kept me reading! There were very few editing errors, and not enough to distract. I don’t usually read biker stories, but this one grabbed my attention when I was going through the list of free titles for the day on Free Booksie. It turned my Sunday afternoon into a pleasantly hot experience.

This was nothing to write home about at all. The story was cheesy and too predictable and really unbelievable. Glad it was short because it was a waste of my time. Don't bother!

This story felt like it was much longer than just 77 pages. I enjoyed meeting the whole club and would really enjoy reading more of their stories. Action, mayhem, love, and of course, sex with a strong leading lady and even stronger hero!

Finally an author that can write a quick page turner with less than 150 pages and gives you a storyline with a good plot and the steam as well. Think I have found a new author to follow.

When I grabbed this up I wasn't expecting the ride. It's a well written short read the characters are interesting and it's got the right grab for the first book you should definitely grab the series.

Lauren and Wolf
This was a really good story. I recommend it. It's got heat and is steamy and suspenseful. I loved the instant attraction between the characters. I liked that there is actually a story here. I only wanted more of it. I also wish it was edited better. Its good!

very glad I got this for free and did not pay for it 😅 pretty cringe, and kind of uncomfortable when the MC gets fucked within the first like 20 pages of the book by a total stranger who also chokes her while doing so, without any sort of dialogue..

impressive
It was incredibly impressive to have such a well done story as a short novella. I loved how quickly the characters were developed. It didn’t feel rushed and I really loved how strong Lauren was and Wolf was spicy overall fireworks!

Oh. My. Gosh. Phenomenal!! I couldn't put the book down all day until I finished it. I have wondered about trap. It'd be interesting to hear a pov/story from him separately. Anyways they're endgame oml!!😭🫶 and I LOVEE WOLF HES SO PERFECTT.
