The collection of poems inside deal with mental illness, love and a trip to Edinburgh (where some of the poems were written). This is such a beautiful book. Lucy’s poems capture so many raw emotions, such as consumption by mental illness, the determination and perseverance necessary for recovery, the pain of heartbreak, and that specific kind of love that you have for your friends. All her poems are written with so much love, honesty, and feeling, her words are so special, and this is such a precious book. I’d rate it 6 stars, if I could.
