Andrew Puccetti came from what seemed like a good family: his parents―nice, Christian people―were still married, and he'd had a good childhood. But if one was to peer behind the curtains, they'd find that not everything was as perfect as it seemed. Andrew's father suffered from alcoholism; his mother threw herself into fostering, and Andrew himself suffered from intense OCD and anxiety. He recovered through therapy, and, as he grew, he discovered himself and found strength to come out of the closet to his family.
But the OCD returned, and Andrew found himself unable to maintain his friendships or a job. After bring admitted in a psychiatric hospital, Andrew was diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, and borderline personality disorder.
Here he tells his brave story of how he overcame it all to become the person he is today.
