Prachi Garg is the only opponent in my bookshelf who have given competition to books of Rashmi Bansal. Being a management graduate and being a Gujarati, it is always fascinating to read about success strategies of businessmen and companies. Super Woman series was able to give us the satisfaction (comparable to Rashmi Bansal's books. Till now Prachi has written only about woman-centric (either alone or with siblings/husband). "The Legends of a Startup Guy" is her first book which is full novel/fiction with a male protagonist.

Before I talk about the plot, can you imagine if Ganesh (the God) decides to get independent from his parents and start something of his own? Any idea what can he do apart from being a god? Here our protagonist is Ganesha, well, not a god but human. Prachi has created a family with Hindu mythology. Parents of Ganesha are Shiva & Parvati. His uncle is Vishnu. They belonged to reputed well to do family with family set business. Lazy Ganesh was full of creativity, and he would like to get his own identity. He got an idea from his pet (rat). His journey is depicted in 170 pages.

Good points about the book
1) Awesome concept and connection with mythology
2) Good informative narration about startup struggle. Good pick for people who wanted to start something.
3) Easy to follow language
4) Good for any age group and even for beginners
5) The simple and fast narration style
6) Light read can give company on your trips
7) Beginners and learners can take this book with ease

Overall a different genre book - fiction by previously non-fictional writer, but the domain of startup and entrepreneurship is still the main topic.

The Legends Of A Startup Guy is a tale of a young man Ganesha who is born with a silver spoon but still resolves to come out of the shadows. With his grit and determination, he builds up his own enterprise. He is accompanied by his friends – Chintan and Srijan. Together they embark on a journey to create a product which stands unique. In their pursuit of developing a product of their own, they work day in and day out but still fail drastically in sustaining Shrishti. And then Brahma comes into picture who rip them off the flaws in their business plan and points out their inability to tackle the challenges of a startup journey. The hard lessons taught the harder way by life direct Ganesha to go on creating a product which makes him a star entrepreneur.

The book outlines the essentials of a startup journey by bringing the mythological characters into the picture. With Ganesha, Shiva, Parvati and certain other characters and places such as Kailash, the author attempt to illustrate the knowledge with ease. This candid presentation of the narrative impressed me. The book starts on a lighter not and gradually picks up the pace thereby becoming a little somber in tone. It talks about how a successful startup is built by mentioning its prerequisites and important factors to consider while translating your business idea into a viable product. It stresses on building a strong foundation of knowledge for the future product to survive. What it taught the best is to learn from the people around and believe in yourself. Through a series of mistakes and setbacks only, success would be achieved. Ganesha’s ultimate success is the testimony to this statement.

One must read Ganesha’s story to get motivated and equip oneself rightly with the necessary tools and skill set. The path towards building a successful enterprise is fraught with hurdles and one must endure through it to become successful. I really liked the lucid writing style and the use of dialogues. It made the whole narrative come lively. I also liked the informal and conversational writing style which enhanced my reading experience. The book presented vital information in an enjoyable way. Also, the bits of lesson after each chapter are enlightening. Overall, I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend to both the children and adults for the narrative is simplistic and informative.

The legend of the start up guy is a story about a person want to come out of the shadow of the family with successful people .
Firstly the cover is beautiful and we'll designed .
And title is attractive as lot of youth at the present day are trying to build up their own start ups.
The story line is interesting as the author has managed to mix some mythology with a start up story .
The characters are well developed and described . And this manages to give a realistic and a fantasy kind of feel to story.
The world building is nice
However I feel the narration lacked in some places as it felt a little drags at certain points . Overall it was nice and I would recommend who are looking forward to inspiration for following their dreams.

This is by far so lovely book.I got this book luckily to read on. My reason to pick this book is that i love motivational videos and author who kept inspire us this motivation that we need everyday in our life if you have book such type i think this would be like amazing.

Now, Coming back to the story. This is story of Ganesha who born in with silver spoon, surrounded with luxuries. Ganesha, always kind and so respectful to others. He was given best of education ,food, clothes and almost everything else i wanted in life.He got caring parents ,accomplished brother and in hand very good resourceful life. He was living in the shadow of his parents where externally he shows he is well but internally he was very disconnected what he shows.Nobody asked him about report cards,no stories of excellence were brought to me compare he was lonely internally never got to share his doubts and insecurities. It was almost like being good was the only quality he possessed.

Eventually though he broke the silence and determined to do more than that. He done amazing project during his academics which surprises his parents when they got call from reputed co. meeting held in college. But this excellence they took it so lite but eventually mother and father realized he is keen and working so hard to bring this on earth.

Ganesha now got this chance anyhow and started working on his dream to startup his own business with the help of his friend Chintan and Srijan. It is VR {virtual reality} setup. Eventually he got landed his dream on earth with the help of his friends as they were expert in individually for handling sections.
Three of them started working splitting responsibilities equally. Ganesha attention on the tech development of the program. Srijan, the creative director, began designing the front end of the V.R experience of kailash. Chintan with his background and orientation took on the business side of the enterprise coming up with the financial and marketing strategy. Once the model was ready later they came up with name for enterprise was SHRISHTI. ---a vision of creation---

But as they did all hardworking an loads of investment to startup this business they failed so brutally which left Ganesha depressed , lost of thought, painful all alone.

Now, i think this much spoiler is sufficient to make you readers understand about the story. More spoiler about this book can lead you not so enjoyable. So folks what you are waiting for go and grab this copy and get motivated.

I want to highlight one more thing is that this story also embedded with mythology which helped Ganesha further

----------Question---------

1.Will he be able to find his path in this business?
2.What steps Ganesha would take to setup his business back or will he find something intresting other than VR?

This one needs to be read by those who are considering to start something big in their lives.
This book is for those dreamers, the ones who are thinking of starting up new ventures and make them big.
Entrepreneurship : this is what this book is all about and how one can really be an entrepreneur in today's world.
Although this book has been written as some fiction, there are a whole lot of truths which one can adopt.
The story is based on the life of Ganesha who is the younger sibling, who never gets much attention nor much importance is given to what he thinks and dreams of.
Inspite of all the hurdles and darkness surrounding him, he tried living up to his dreams by just doing 'something about it'.
And yes, he took the inspiration from his pet rat, Jumbo.
Can you believe it?
Everything Ganesha does to make his dream big, it has been elaborated in 15 short concise chapters with a 'moral' at the end of each chapter.
I really love this book as it displayed in details what might possibly come up when one starts something new/big that is unique and new to everyone else. In short, when a person chooses an unconventional job/career.
*This is one of those books that students need to read.
I would recommend this book to everyone who is thinking of starting up something new and big. This book will be worth keeping with you forever👍

📙REVIEW - The Legend of A Startup Guy is a beautiful and inspirational tale of dreams, passion, obstacles, survival and destiny. The story is told in a fast pace and keep its readers hooked till the end. The character potrayl is quite unique where the author has chosen some of the popular characters from Hindu Mythology and has moulded them perfectly as per the need of the plot. Particularly the character Ganesha for sure will inspire and motivate the readers to realise their dreams and convert them to reality. 💻BOOK REVIEW 💻
Hello people, so this one was my last book of March and here's what I think of it!
💻
Book : The Legends of A Startup Guy
Author : Prachi Garg
Length : 176
💻
The story is of Ganesha, the youngest boy in the family who's always been happy-go-lucky and loved by all. Somewhat overshadowed all his life by his older brother who is brilliant in academics, he decides to do something that makes him stand out for once!
That's how the idea of the "startup" is planted.
And the journey begins from scratch to accomplish his dreams!
💻
The plot of the story was definitely unusual, but, I felt it would be enjoyed more by entrepreneurs or people who are thinking of beginning startups as compared to normal readers.
It has a lot of technical details and is more of a 'guideline to creating a startup' than a story.
The language in which the story's been written has a lot of room for improvement as well.
However what I can't deny is, it definitely has a good message - Hard work pays off. Also, one gets to know of the struggles that entrepreneurs go through.
I guess the best thing about the book was, how the author blended Hindu mythology with such a modern idea like a 'startup' and how she's made sure to include the morals of chapters.
💻
My rating : 3/5🌟s
💻
Happy reading all!

This book fascinates me because of the concept that it's not the common usual story of a sad, poor, common boy who becomes great! It's the story of a rich boy... Born with silver spoon in mouth... But haves the zeal to grow and to do something on his own...
It's intersting but it could have been better...
At start it was hard for me to build interest but with oace it turns to be a good book to read...
Now if you think that this book is written in form of a normal novel... Then sorry but it's different the whole book is narrated as conversation and also haves moral of the story at end of the chapter... Well I didn't liked this much as it made me feel like I was reading a 5th grade student moral book.
Story and concept is nice... And good for reading something different and light... It's good for beginners... As the narration is lucid and easy vocab.
There's nothing much to talk about physical aspects as the book is common as other novel and isn't a collector edition.
The book was delivered in great condition so the light bend you see in photo is because of my fault...
At last let me tell you that the legend is of computer science branch... So be ready for that if you are going to read it.
My exact rating is 3.6 considering all aspects!
Happy reading

The story is about silver spoon born wannabe entrepreneur Ganesh to build a Start up company Though the names are coincident with God Shiva and family, gods and goddesses, this has nothing to do with mythology but it is about guy who wants to be a present day start up company. The book is beautifully explained each stage of a entrepreneur divided as each chapter. Preparation , challenges faced, how to overcome obstacles, what to concentrate etc. Lessons and moral at the end of each chapter are the star highlight of book/message for readers/entrepreneur.

Pros:
To mix mythological charactercha present day story was great
Language used is simple.
Chapters are well divided based on different stages of creating start up.

Cons:
Book is little dull for guys who don't have plans/dream to be an entrepreneur.

Recommend to all ambitious young people and wannabe entrepreneurs.

The Legends of a Startup Guy by Prachi Garg

This book is more like some motivational read.
I liked how it correlated everything to Hindu mythology. The names of the characters, their roles and significance, everything was kept intact.
The story divided into multiple chapter, with each chapter having its own moral and values.
For me it was more like some entrepreneurial combined with marketing class.
Since portrayed as fiction, I felt the narration could have been a lot better. There was too much of information.
If you are someone looking for information or suggestions about what to do or not do before or during starting your own start-up, I guess this is one you might want to read once.

Who likes a good story?
Who likes mythology?
Who wants to be a big entrepreneur on day?
If you answered yes to 1, 2 all three with yes then you havta havta havta read this book.
I had once heard that learning from your own mistakes are something an intelligent person does. But taking lessons from someone else's mistakes and then making sure you don't make it marks the difference between a successful person and someone who isn't. I read this one is 2 hours flat. Trust me the flow of the narration is very smooth and interesting that you will enjoy it along with learning a thing or two about life. Trust me you will like it.

The Legends of a Startup Guy
Author- Prachi Garg
Publisher- Srishti Publishers Distributors
Genre- Fiction
Pages- 166

The Legends of a Startup Guy is about a boy named Ganesha born to successful parents and over-achieving brother. His struggle in finding a place and making a name in the society. The story starts when his parents are overwhelmed by his elder brother's achievements and a self-realisation dawns on him that he has never done anything to make them feel in this manner and they never expect him to do extra-ordinary things. And when his parents got a phone call from the school, they were in extreme shock. And then what they heard from the school principal was beyond imagination. He had built a program as part of his academic project which was based on graphic animation and could convert imaginative world into real time 3D images and help to generate visuals. 🍁Will his parents be as proud of him as his elder brother or there's more to the story? (Read the book to find out...) 🎓

My Review-
👉The names of the characters are influenced from Mythology. 👉There are lessons drawn from Mythology. 👉The story flows smoothly and written well. 👉The narration is simple and lucid. 👉A lot of technical terms were used but it was fine as the book was based on a start up. 👉The book has touched a sensitive subject that being born to successful parents does not mean that you yourself can become successful easily. Instead its a lot more difficult as you have to continue to be better than your parents and siblings. The path might be a little easier as they can guide you through but they will never be able to help you achieve success.
👉I suggest this book to people who are planning to begin a start-up for a motivational read. And also of you are going through a rough phase in your life, you can opt for it.

The Legends of a Start-up guy is a book about entrepreneurship that is intertwined with Hindu mythology. But it is not just a fictional story, but also a motivational book. It could also be used as a reference book by someone looking forward to starting up a new venture.
Now one might think how is there so many things summed up in one book? Well, the book tries to fit the story of an entrepreneur about how he starts a new business. The story is fictional and quite interesting to read. His journey as an entrepreneur is what newbies who wish to start a start-up can learn from.
One faces a lot of problems while making a new business successful. The names of characters in the book are derived from Hindu epics. There are other underlying elements of Hindu mythology as well. The entire story is written with the narrative of real-life events where our protagonist Ganesh gets motivated to start a new venture.
Ganesha is the youngest guy in a powerful family. The names of his parents -Shiva, Parvati and Uncle Vishnu are all inspired from Hindu Mythology. And Ganesh’s character matches the Hindu epic as well. He loves food and is a bit lazy yet clever. His character is shown to be quite intelligent and innovative, much like his mythological counterpart. Since he comes from a powerful family, he tries his best to distinguish himself. He knows that it is not enough to just have a strong background. He is struggling to establish his individuality and so goes through tough times to show everyone his worth. Like most entrepreneurs, he has a strong will and determination. But more than that, he has a purpose. All businessmen who make it big in the world are those who begin with a purpose.
But it is not just a motivational book written in a fictional style. Quite the opposite actually. It gives you actual entrepreneurial tips but with the narrative of an interesting story.
There were so many elements in the book that I enjoyed. Considering that I am fascinated by Hindu mythology, I loved the relatability. When I saw Ganesha getting inspiration from his pet rat, I rolled out laughing. The book is really short and has an apt ending so any person can enjoy it even if they are not particularly interested in start-ups. But those who like reading a business book will find something refreshing in this book.
Since I have read the previous books of Prachi Garg, I am aware of her writing in non-fiction style but I became fond of her fictional writing in this book. She deals with a theme that she is most familiar with – business and writes a fantastic story on it.
The premise is written well-enough to fit into 15 concise chapters. And it was nice to see that the author gave enough attention to the other characters and portrayed them nicely. The plot is nothing extraordinary but one could term this book as a coming-to-age book. I saw the character growth of Ganesha after every chapter and loved to read how he faced the difficulties.
The book also explained important marketing concepts in an easy manner. Usually, it is difficult to explain the practicality of these concepts and with actual suggestions for implementing them. But the book does it nicely, even with the use of technical terms.
Overall, it was a fun read and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I’d recommend it for some casual reading to the commoners and for serious reading to the ones who wish to start a start-up.

It is the story of how an entrepreneur is born, the story of his challenges, and his actions to sail through them, carefully interwoven with stories from the Hindu mythology, to bring to the table the wisdom of the gods.

My review :-

All of us have been a part of a business cycle in one or the other way. Some have been the founders and some employees and most of us are a part of it as being the customers are final end receivers. How many of us do know the entire structure of running a business or being a part of some other process to the one we are accustomed to ?? Hardly few. Running a business, especially a new one is not as simple as it sounds and includes lot of issues which need to be focused on to very detail of it. This book is a one step guide to all of it.

The book 'The legends of a start up guy' is a book written keeping budding entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in mind and does a great job at achieving its objectives. The cover of the book is simple and looks good and the title is appropriate and well suited. The writing pace is good and doesn't make the story clumsy. The language is simple too and makes it an easy read.

The highlight of the story is the narrative. The entire story is written in the form of real life events but not of the events on earth but those including the celestial entities and the gods and goddesses. It's not usual to see the narration of a everyday life story written in the form of events happening in lives of heavenly bodies. But the author Prachi Garg has done a great job in making it a unique and very good read and also succeeds in keeping it interesting.

Overall, the book is simple and good. A few loopholes are included too but can be overlooked considering the written style and uniqueness and also the message it tries to deliver. It's a must read for all the budding entrepreneurs and those who are looking to enter the field.

Summary -: The book follows the story of a boy named 'Ganesha', who was borned ina rich & reputated family yet he always felt useless because his parents 'Shiva & Parvti' never gave important to him and always praised & compared him with his elder brother 'Skanda'. Ganesha was a intelligent & a food lover, he always tried to give his best by doing something new but always achieved failure. The story advance with new challenges, difficulties & struggles faced by him on the path of being an entrepreneur. & The rest story follows , how he became successful with 2 of his friends.
Read this amazing book to find out!

Things I liked -:
1. The Story is beautifully woven with the characters to give a feeling of reading a mythological book. It is the most unique way to represent a story. I seriously loved this unique idea.
2. The characters are the life of this book. All the characters from 'Ganesha' to his parents everyone is really interesting as they are taken from our Hindu mythology, we can imagine how hard it could be to make a perfect story using these types of characters. But the author simple nailed it she has perfectly used the characters to write a fictional Motivation book. All the characters are developed and described really well. I personally loved Ganesha very much.
3. The language & narration of the book is good & simple it can be easily understood.
4. The best thing about the story is that every chapter end with a Moral which seriously feel amazing while reading the book.

Things I didn't like -:
1. The pace of the story is slow. At 1st you may not like it but as the story continue it become better but in between you'll again start to feel that the pace become slow.

Verdict - Overall this is great Motivation book for an entrepreneur to a daily life people. It can give you many lessons of how to overcome from the darkness you're living in. The characters are one of a kind, which make this book more interesting to read. I'd definitely recommend this one.

Ganesha is a bright, jovial and youngest in the family. He was always an average achiever unlike his elder brother, Skanda, who always came first and now have a secured job in a MNC. But one day when he found his passion in VR technology after that there was no turning back. He decided to start his own business. But will his parents Shiva and Parvati support him? Was it easy for Ganesha to have a successful startup just because his parents are influential?

Review-

This book is a must read for every young entrepreneur. Though it is a story of Ganesha about the journey of his own start up but is not less than a guide book of entrepreneurship. For me personally it was less of a story but more of a SWOT analysis of a startup.

All the characters and scenario are derived from the Mythology and from the surroundings of Ganesha. It is a very interesting twist because it makes the book more entertaining to read. If it wold be the story of a regular man who is trying to set up his own business it would not appeal much.

Plot of the story is very simple if you look at in a general point of view. A boy who has everything he needs but always over shadowed because of the success of his elder brother. Suddenly one day he found his passion and want to pursue it. But what makes this book different is his characterization, narration and the examples drawn from the legends and stories of GOD.

Author has maintained a good pace in the story. Right from the background to the foundation of the enterprise everything was properly explained without dragging it. At times I felt that there was too much information about the working of the startup. The book covers everything from the Finance to HR, Teamwork to Leadership, Marketing to Management.

If someone had told me to read it as the guidance or as DO's and Don's while starting your own business I definitely wouldn't have read it. But the same thing explained in a story manner is what makes it more interesting and appealing to read.

I would definitely recommended it to everyone who actually wants to understand the working and know the responsibility while starting your own venture.

Review ✨:

This book revolves around Ganesha who inspite of being brought up in a home of comfort & luxuries is a humble human being & craves his own identity which is somehow lost due to his dignified family status. This book particularly focuses on his entrepreneurial journey & the disguised bitterness of lessons & failures that come along. But, this book covers a lot of important lessons we should surely look up to. The author has done a wonderful job in bringing along tons of tidbits related to our lives.
⭐ While reading this book, you realize how important it's to acknowledge your dreams. And, how important is their proper execution.
⭐ Through this book, you understand that parents might take time to accept your potential out of concern but once they acknowledge what all you are about, they"ll be your strongest pillars & guide you especially in your worst phases of life.
⭐ It's failure that prepares you for a wonderful journey of success. You don't have to be afraid to fail, but afraid of not learning enough. So make enough space within you to learn & grasp as much as you can.
⭐ Orientation of dreams is a must. Listening to the people who have already fulfilled the dreams you possess helps you from a great deal of trouble.

🌻I really admired the writing style of author throughout the book. The choice of words & the way sentences are woven is beautiful. A touch of mythology & morals mentioned after every lesson gives a nice appeal to the book.
✨ I enjoyed this book yet at some points, I didn't like too much of the details related to entrepreneurship. For someone who wishes to know a great deal about entrepreneurship, those details would only add to your interest.

My favorite quote from the book:

''The best way to face your enemy ( or challenge) is to know your dueler inside out. Once you have done that, you will not have unforeseen surprises, unplanned escalations, or any reservations about what you're getting into."

Do you have an urge to prove yourself although being born in an influential family? Well! If you like to follow your dreams and make own destiny by your terms then this book is for you.

Synopsis:
The Legends of a Startup Guy is a story of a jovial young lad, Ganesha who determines to prove himself to his parents Shiva and Parvathi. His brother Skanda, is well placed in a multinational company, whom his parents are proud of. Ganesha starts his own company with financial help from his Aunt Lakshmi and Kuber. He names his firm as Shrishti- a vision of the creation. The story is the journey of hardship and his abilities in tackling them in emerging as a Star Entrepreneur.

My Review: I enjoyed the book and the way, the characters like Karma unlimited, the market research company; Brahma, CEO of Universe; Rahu-Keta, an example of their own downfall; Vashishtha, the sage; Tulsi, the lady love - sacrificed to follow his dream and many other characters were all roped diligently. The book as a whole is a very interesting story with events of Ganesha’s struggles, failure, achievement, and challenges. An inspirational book for a start-up. I loved every chapter as the management lessons were correlated to mythology teaching from Ramayana to Mahabharata, all amazingly interpreted.

The story is skillfully interwoven with Hindu Mythology which makes it unique. The language used is refined and lucid writing style paired with dialogues made the entire scene lively. Overall, I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend to all especially if you are looking for an inspiration for a startup.

Mythology is replete with interesting stories, with a moral as a takeaway; not only morals, but also strategies to be employed to traverse the forest of life. These strategies in modern times also provide the knowledge in running the official world. The Legend of a Startup Guy uses this aspect of mythological stories to explain the nuances of an entrepreneurial journey.

This book narrates the story of Ganesha who is in the process of discovering himself and setting up his own business. He faces failures and successes in varying degrees. What he learns during those failures and successes, intertwined with nuggets from mythology makes the book.

The book is written in simple language. It targets those who are embarking on the start up journey. It provides pearls of wisdom to be learnt for a smooth journey. These pearls are summarized at the end of each chapter. But the highlight is narration of these facts through stories with mythological background.

The drawback of the book is when the narrations becomes rambling from providing wisdom. The additional lines written for the facts cross the thin line from putting forth ideas to become preachy. Especially in the middle part of the book this is seen widely and can wean away the reader’s interest.

This book is essentially a reference book which needs to be read with a slow pace and can serve as a collection for anybody who wants to start the startup guy. I would suggest to the readers not to get too involved with the mythological tract since it may pave way to many questions in the mind.

Overall, a good read, one to chew well.

❤️This book is a tale of someone who was born with a silver spoon and yet, decided to write his own destiny, on his own terms and to bring meaning to his existence out of the shadows of his lineage. It is the story of how an entrepreneur is born, his challenges, and his actions to Sail through them.
📖This is the story of ganesh who is jovial and intelligent. In search of his individual identity.
❤️The book is beautifully penned down with each stage of a entrepreneur explained very well.
❤️The characters are defined very well with a touch of mythology names.
📖In this book Ganesh makes a design of the program that was built around graphic animation that converted imaginative world into real time 3D images and could help to generate visuals as per will.
❤️The most touching lines I felt from the book was - " I see two sides of you, son, the one I love and the one that world loves. They are both going to be your friends and bring out the best in you".

Summary:

Ganesh the younger son of Shiva and Parvati. An intelligent person and he has so much knowledge in technologies. Being the younger brother, people didn’t give enough importance for him like they would give for his elder brother Skanda. Even their parents would compare Ganesh with his brother. So, Ganesh decided to create his own identity in amid of his family members and his friends. He wanted to follow his passion and dreams but their parents denied it. They wanted their son to become an engineer.  After so many conflicts, he started his own business. He had dealt with all the peaks and valleys to show his individuality to the world.

How he had achieved in his business by overcoming all the failures?

Review:

As this is a story of an entrepreneur, it will motivate the people who has a dream to become an entrepreneur.

The uniqueness of the book is that it correlates Hindu mythology with this current modern life.

The author had included some morals at the end of each story which makes the read interesting.

The language and pace are good.

But the narration in not appreciable. I felt like, the author had put information together rather than narrating the story.

Sometimes I forgot that I’m reading a story. The book is more like a non-fiction.

It would be good, if the author had concentrated on the narration part.

I think this book will be helpful for all the startup people. Happy reading.

The Legends of a Startup Guy is a simple story of a boy named Ganesha. The story describes the environment Ganesha lives in and how he realises his dream to be an entrepreneur. The story is skillfully interwoven with the Hindu mythology which makes it unique. The book is fictional and all the characters are well known gods and goddesses from the Hindu mythology. The book as a whole is an interesting series of Ganesha's struggles, failures, achievements and lessons learnt by him. There are many short stories told throughout the book which helps Ganesha understand his work and people around him. These tales with the actual story make the book more engaging. The book is a self-help guide too as there are many morals in it. I would appreciate the author for this unique take on the art of storytelling. I don't enjoy reading motivational books much but this book is inspiring and engaging at the same time. The book cover is beautiful and goes well with the story. The story is written in first person perspective with a few dialogue exchanges too. The character development is good. I found the flow a bit slow at times but the change in action as I explored the next chapter kept me going. The language used is refined and easy to comprehend. Overall, it was a nice read. I would recommend this book to non-fiction enthusiasts and all aspiring entrepreneurs out there.

I recieved the review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

BOOK NAME - The Legends Of A Startup Guy
AUTHOR NAME - Prachi Garg
PUBLISHED BY - Srishti publishers "Success is very difficult to achieve and easier to lose." This book talks about success and it's achievement. Ganesha is born in a very successful family with super achiever parents and an intelligent brother. It's a story about his quest for success and an identity in the society. How will he achieve this? For the answer you must read the book

It's a very well written book on achievement and success. Narration is interesting and lucid. Writing style is really very good. I appreciate the Author for that. Also while reading the book, it never feels like the story is dragged or stretched unnecessarily, it's a peculiarity of each and every book by Srishti publishers and I adore the publishers for that. The story goes with a good pace. Characterization is based on the mythological characters and hence doesn't seem so unique. Cover is ideal for such a kind of book

The book succeeds on delivering the genre with perfection and would be of interest to the target audience. This book is recommended to the ones who want to achieve something in their lives irrespective of their age. This is not only for the young generation but it would be of help to the adult ones too!
It is a blend of self help and fictional book which is indeed a good combo for readers. A delightful read and intellectual too!

|| THE LEGENDS OF A START UP GUY ||
by
PRACHI GARG

●" START UP " ,A most difficult, and daring step for any human being who has dreamt of it. First step of "Start up " is to " gear up " the confidence level. Its a step where the ppl dont know, are they going to be successful? Or not? Its a step from where one can change his entire life. What just we need? "Taking risk".

●CHARACTERS AND BLURB WITHOUT SPOILER: not only poor and middle class people, there are many richy people who wants to do something interesting to their life and want to make his own identity. The plot has similarity with the above sentence. The story is started with a note that I am not going to disclose. Here, a guy who born with silver spoon still wants to do something in his life what he wants. " ENTREPRENEURSHIP " the word and pronunciation is not as hard as to be an " ENTREPRENEUR".
The book has description of the path to be an ENTREPRENEUR. It is an example of being someone unique is not that easy. There are multiple up and down through this way. But focus is everything. The book consists some mythological entities. That made the book better.

●ABOUT THE BOOK:
Cover and title of the book eye-catching and inspiring. Writing style is good , simple words and sentences. Only thing that sometimes i felt bore when was reading because some chapters were extended little bit . Overall a good reading. Even i felt inspired and motivated . Thank you

The legends of a startup guy by Prachi Garg
.
.
Foreword :
As the title clearly mentions , this is the story of an entrepreneur. The trials and tribulations associated with the launch of a start up company are discussed here with a humorous reference to characters from Hindu mythology. .
.
.
About the book:
Ganesha ( analogues to the favourite Hindu God) is the jovial, happy go lucky and easy going younger son of Shiva and Pallavi. He is always compared to his older brother, the high achiever Skanda and therein starts a wish to establish an identity for himself. .
.
.
With the backing of his uncle Vishnu and aunt Lakshmi and wisdom from uncle Brahma, he envisages on a plan to start Shishti, to collaborate and build a virtual reality model that would enhance the experience of religious tourism with ideas such as virtual transportation to the mansarovar lake for example .
.
.
In coming up with this idea, Ganesha goes through the entire rigmarole of setting up a start up right from scratch, be it arranging of venture capital, coming up with a marketing plan, budgeting , organising of key resources to build the team and further, actually taking the idea unto fruition. .
.
In Conclusion :
In drawing the analogy from Hindu mythology, the author has created immense interest to the otherwise mundane details of entrepreneurship. The idea behind this narrative is simply awesome. .
.

The story line is quite interesting. The plot of the story is also good. The story is all about how to establish his/her individual identity and how to become an entrepreneur. And I must say author has written the story well enough to keep the reader hooked.
..
The main protagonist of the story is Ganesha who was born with silver spoon instead he decided to write his own destiny and to establish his individual indentity, on his own terms and to bring his existence out the shadow of his parents who he always carried with him since his childhood. And he want to get his parents feel proud of him like his brother Skanda who is an Engineer in reputed organization. Then he started to work on his project called "Virtual Reality", and made a team of three members later he recruited some interns for different tasks and distributed them their role in order to make his project huge and success. There's a lot of ups and downs in his entire journey to become an entrepreneur and his actions to sail through them. Do read to know more bout his journey!
..
My thoughts :-
I enjoyed reading this book much.
The characters explained in the story was simple and understandable.
The cover of the book goes so well with the story.
I definitely recommend this book to all my fellow bookstagrammer's.
Happy Reading!

Blurb:
Ganesha is Jovial, intelligent and the youngest in the family. A foodie by heart and laid back by nature, he always looked for ways to make life easier. Despite being born to the all-powerful Shiva and Parvati, with uncle Vishnu and aunts Lakshmi and Saraswati to back him at every point in life, he has to battle through many ups and downs to establish his individual identity, just like his accomplished brother, Skanda. Under layers of perfection, benevolence and Jovial extravaganza was a young boy battling to be found for who he really was. The legends of a start-up guy is a tale of someone who was born with a silver spoon and yet, decided to write his own destiny, on his own terms and to bring meaning to his existence out of the shadows of his lineage. It is the story of how an entrepreneur is born, the story of his challenges, and his actions to sail through them, carefully interwoven with stories from the Hindu mythology, to bring to the table the wisdom of the gods.

My review:
Not everyone becomes successful in a startup.
This book is a one step guide to entrepreneurship.
Cover and title both suit the story and do justice to it as well.
Narration is beautiful.
Characters have done justice to the plot.
All in all, a good and a helpful book.

I’d rate this one a 4 out of 5 stars.
