Hot
The premise of this book was a bit taboo but super hot.
The chemistry of the MCs was super sexy and intense from the very beginning. I loved their banter and sexy love language. The only thing I didn’t like was the end. Never propose to someone at someone else’s wedding. SUPER cringe. I’ll act like that never happened so I can give this book 4 stars ⭐️.

These are fun reads. Definitely not hard core and certainly a little too much alike. However, I enjoyed both books.

Mini-Review:
I wanted to see if the writing quality would be more or less the same and it is! This was another good romance about two people finding happiness in the worst case of timing ever. I thought about knocking off a half a star for one part but decided against it because I really do like Darryl & Dominic's love story. Hm, the names could have been a different. Why is it D&D? *eyeroll*

I’m not entirely sure how I feel about Dom and Julie and their relationship. While she and Dom were still together at the beginning of this book, you could tell they weren’t really all that happy together.
There technically was cheating in the book. Darryl gave Dom a partial hand job while Dom & Julie were together but I have a feeling that Julie might have been fooling around with Jordan so… yeah
I did enjoy the story for the most part but I hated that Julie acted like the innocent victim when she found out about Dom & Darryl. She wasn’t evil or anything but, she acted like Dom was the only one at fault for the end of their relationship and that Darryl & Dom betrayed her for falling for each other.

Made me frustrated
First off, I just wrote a review for CS saying how much the author's reality in stories was what made these books so good.
SPOILER ALERT:
However, here is an example where it doesn't, imo. For an accident to happen twice the same way is unrealistic. I'm sure it could happen, but it was a too obvious way to go with this plot. I wish the authir would have came up with something different to make Darryl realize his true feelings. I would have liked for Dominic to go back to school and have the separation do that better than what was written. Lastly, when the cop calls Darryl about the accident, I doubt anyone would be as insensitive as too say "we found your car wrapped around a tree with so and so in it." They most likely would have started with there's been an accident. Oh well, win some, Lose some.

I don't usually rate books i Dnf'd but I'm fairly certain this one wouldn't get better. I managed 50% and tapped out
I had a feeling I'd drop this one when i read the first page but i was curious. I honestly hated the dynamic between Darryl and Dominic... Well, i just rly disliked Darryl. I don't care his subs were into humiliation and degradation, he's still an asshole. And the way he talked to Dominic when they first met? Hell no.
And frankly, the smut in this was just rly yucky for my tastes (pun intended). I've read my fair share but this just made me cringe. Plus, the insta attraction was just ridiculous, ugh

Steamy
I liked the writing and the sex scenes were great but I liked the last part of the book even more, the more emotional part. This BDSM theme is not my thing that's why I appreciated the fact that the author made sure that this was a romance as well. I found interesting knowing about this master and sub role playing but it's not my coup of tea, the humiliation and the hurting is hard for me to find sexy and of course is nothing romantic. Unless is the movie The Secretary, well that was romantic. I am definitely reading more from this author.

Fantastic
What can I say? I loved this book, it was - as the title suggests - fantastic
I love sitting - or lying - in the safety of my sofa or bed - reading about a DOM and sub relationship.
Charlotte does it so well.
The book incredibly well written, characters are awesome, full of all the thoughts and feelings we mere humans succumb to on a daily basis.
And of course she has the best endings.
I'm now looking forward to grabbing and losing myself in her next book

I've never thought I'm going to like this book! I thought that this is one of the books that when I'm done reading, I'll forget about it. But this is so good, enthralling, and made me feel emotions. 😩
The author's writing is marvelous and very straightforward. Spoiler alert. Things happen and escalate so fast that in the first of two chapters, the other mc is tasting the other already (lol).
I enjoyed and had fun reading this. This will forever have a place in my heart. I highly recommend it. ❤️

Loved this!
This book popped up in my feed of recommended reads and the title intrigued me. Opening scene and Dom Darryl Cole had my full attention! The range of emotions I experienced as a reader on this epic romantic journey with Darryl and Dominic hooked me! I loved this one and have plans to read others in he series and more written by this author Charlotte Storm.

Enjoyable!
Another fun, sweet, kinky book in the Trained By series. If you like the straight-to-gay, gay-for-you trope with a healthy dose of kink, then this is a good series for you. Each book is a stand-alone and each is good in its own right. I highly recommend reading them all!

Have to say I didn't expect to like the book as much as I ended up doing. It was a free give away download and given the title and blurb I thought it would be "just porny" bit it was actually ALSO romantic and even had a background story 😁.

Darryl was my least favorite dom :( I did not like how he treated Dominic, didn’t believe him when he claimed to feel *so much* for him and then act like a dick to him almost immediately after. Also, hardly no aftercare following that first night together. Not even water or a flipping Gatorade. Not cool.
