Some good and unique ideas. On the flip-side, suggestions such as "drink water" and "get rest" could've been left out, as those are things I'd categorize as "necessary for survival" rather than "self-care".
I did enjoy this, from a point of view of self-care and some of the suggestions did make me laugh. (Using iron cookware because of Mars for example).
I didn't like the binary use of language - this book uses he, some books in the series use she. I think they would be more appropriate and that the idea of masculine/feminine energies is somewhat outdated. I didn't like the suggestion to forego therapy in favour of apps, but this was contradicted later on. The book is also quite repetitive. However, there are some good suggestions and it is entertaining.
Nothing really unexpected here, as I've heard it all before. Apart from maybe the suggestion for Aries to play darts - now that I could definitely go for!
Oh and it really grated on me how the author kept referring to Aries in the narration as 'he,' it was jarring and distancing, not to mention feckin out-dated! Just use 'they'! Grrrr.
I read this because my mom is an Aries and we don't typically get along. It's a great book. easy to follow and understand and I think that any Aries would benefit from reading this little book.
