I wish I would have known and purchased this book right away after having our dog diagnosed with diabetes. Really good information is provided so you can start figuring out what questions to ask and to determine if your vet is the right fit for your dog's treatment and care. I think if I would have had this book, our dog would not have suffered as many complications and so quickly. It has been a handy reference too now, especially on a low blood sugar day...helps you navigate as confidently as you can and not panic.
