this is a huge box set.. and amazing.. wonderfully written.. amazing characers.. amazing stories.. amazing plots.. so much sexiness thrown together.. omg. it is all just amazing.
I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review. Part One: Jack- Crazy shifter, doesn't know what is going on between him and Jillian. Action all over the place, excitement and a tense feeling in my chest. Scared that they won't get there in time. Jess, can you feel your foot trying to push the gas peddle to go faster, Boy! I can. Excellent book I love it. I am sure that you will also.
Part Two: Kasper – Yeri is a Fairy, one with only one wing. It was torn off by a collector. She knows how it hurt and left her unbalanced. I can feel the excitement building and it makes me antsy. This story is exciting and scary. It is an excellent on those. I love the anticipation and then the punch, and then the good parts.
Part Three: Xian – An interesting person, or shifter, co- leader of his tribe, smart, and thinks to improve his people. Exciting and fasted paced. I like it and a very good series.
Part Four: Dean: Shifters of SoHo (Even old hags need love too.) AAHHH!!! Another story that is excellent. It has all of the components, danger, scary things, trust of your friends or help. A very good story from start to finish. And we can't forget about love.
Part Five: Oscar: These stories of SoHo are excellent, they all are. I love them. The author shows an interesting imitation. The world is so interesting and so many different shifters. Their can be so many different stories. I know that you will enjoy them as much as I have and will.
Part Six: Rigby: Danger, danger every were. The trill of getting your prize and staying almost in one piece. It is and excellent story and outcome. You will love it also.
Part Seven: Salazar: I love these stories from SoHo. This one has had a lot of trouble in just staying alive. There is so much danger, besides from others trying to kill you. There is danger from slavers, pirates and just the landscape too in some places. It is so exciting it is hard to not keep going and reading all night long. Excellent story.
Part Eight: Crimson: I have been wanting to get to know Crimson for a while now. He is very interesting. He was in another book I read about this world. He was able to heal someone that was very near death. It was different and interesting. This story has excitement, danger, crazy things happening and very, very scary. I get so upset that I can't help them. (I wish we could push a button and send help. That would be a great help, RIGHT.)
Part Nine: Valerio: Very good story. I do love these worlds, they can be so unpredictable. I do love my shifters too. They never disappoint. I wounder what Blessed means.
Part Ten: Ezekiel: So much can happen in such a short time. The stories are interlocked happening at the same time but in different places. I like the way the author did that. Very good story.
Part Eleven: Malin: In the SoHo worlds they all connect at one point, it seems to be mostly shifters of some kind. It is a life filled with trying to keep alive. It can be a hard life but they all seem to have fun at small things. Very good story.
Part Twelve: Quillon: Jisabel and Quillon very different names, I don't know were the author got them. I think I like them. This story is good. Bel does not understand how male and female interaction works. I think she want's to know. I do believe she is falling for her husband. I think Quillon has already fallen for her. This has been a great story one with action, excitement, and killing demons. I think you will enjoy very much.
Part Thirteen: Part Fourteen: Part Fifteen: Khalil: There is so much going on that it takes three parts to tell the tale. Nina and the princess tried to help the prisoners being held. Wanting to find a way to set them all free. Needing to find someone who could help them. There are big explosions and fire also. Nice diversion to get all the people out of the prison. Now it is a long road home. Evading the hunters, other predators and keeping the ones they saved OK. A lot of danger and rescues along the way. I think Khalil is falling and I hope they figure it out before it is to late. Very good story. I will be sorry to see these story's end.
Here is a fantastic box set full of adventure, danger, intrigue, and happily ever afters.
For example, in the first three books, which are grouped as RUGGED ALPHAS (containing the stories of JACK, KASPER, and XIAN), you will find books filled with magic and suspense. Each one is fast-paced with a great story line, alive with shifters, faeries, humans, and all kinds of crazy goings-on. The characters are well developed and easy for the reader to care about.
All of the books in this giant collection are engaging and hold the reader’s interest from the start. As we have come to expect from this author, the writing is excellent and this set provides suspense, tons of action, and even a few laughs -- but the intrigue, twists and turns are what keep the reader moving eagerly through the pages. Awesome, unforgettable reading, and all collected into one mega box set! It doesn’t get much better than this! (Review details on the individual stories can be found under the grouping name or individual book titles outside of this set.)
I read Rugged and Mated before and here are my reviews for them. I am going to read the rest now too.
Rugged: This book set is interesting. They are all connected but you can read them as standalones, but it is easier to understand if you read them all in order. They revolve around shifters, vampires, humans, and witches and a war that happened years ago. Each story has some suspense and romance between people that were not meant to be together after the war...based on history. However, you can't pick your destiny with mates. In all of them they learn to support their mate and have their mate's support in return.
Mated: When I finished the 1st part I was a little confused, then I realized each part is about a member of the Highlands royal family. There is a pact that is to happen between them and the Duran Kingdom; however, love keeps getting in the way. I enjoyed reading each of these books.
A thirteen book paranormal series in one collection that That is an amazing read throughout.. This thirteen book collection of the Shifters of SoHo is a joy to read with its strong story lines and strong characters both male and female. Each book has its own charm and pulls you into the story and the life of the characters allowing you to empathize with them leaving you willing the good ones to win. the bad one to be defeated and crying at the deaths of those lovely secondary characters who have added joy to the stories so be sure to keep some tissues handy. The new story is exciting as the rest of the series and equally moving with the same strong story line and characters. It is a lot to read so plan to read in stages rather than rush through it. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I received an ARC edition of this book from the author.
This is the complete collection of the Shifters of SoHo (including a story not previously published).
There are a lot of stories, some that more interwoven than others.
I like the wide variety of characters and situations that make each story unique. There are 13 stories (though 15 parts) in this collection. Some of my favorite stories from the collection were Kasper (Part 2) and Dean (Part 4).
This collection offers a good collection for anyone who is looking for some great world-building and some interesting characters. I liked that the stories take place everywhere from at least partly in our world, to the fairy realms, the land of merepeople, and fantasy lands with a historical feel. There is a great selection of characters, each with their own personalities, strengths and weaknesses.
This box set was a freebie, but it was soooo long and I found it boring in places, confusing to read as some of the dialogue didn't make sense, the fight description was confusing and the characters came across as annoying damsel/pricks when they were the supporting characters before they got their own story; then it was like they had a personality transplant, that left me wondering who the hell I was reading about before! I persevered but kept on falling asleep, which is why it took me just over a month to read this boxset, but felt like a years. So I was so glad I when finished and breathed a big sign of relief. This is not a author will be reading again. But I could just be me and my opinion as other reviews have given this box set and author 4 & 5*. Only 2½* from me though.
So where in the world do I begin? If you have not read a single one of J.S. Strikers books, let me recommend this box set for you. It is not only thrilling, exhilarating and amazing, but it is mouth watering and full of action and romance as well. I could not put this series down. I have read the first 5 books of the series solo and in box set 1-3 but together all of them it just puts everything into a better perspective and it keeps growing together as you read. MUST READ!!
I voluntarily received an ARC copy of this box set for honest review
This is the most enthralling series I've read in a long time.
I started this series of books way back and each and every one is outstanding. I love the diversity of the worlds and the exciting action is unparalleled. All of the stories link together in some way. The world building was a continuous thrill. I was on such an emotional rollercoaster. I had a hard time getting to the end I was crying so much. Good cry, though. Do yourself a favor and don't let this fantastic adventure pass you by.
First let me state that I received an Advance Reader, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review. Wow!!! What a gr8 set of books. Ms. Striker always knows how to grab you and drag you into the most interesting stories of the paranormal, and this set is no different. It’s loaded with humans, demons, wolf-shifters, fairies, other shifters, and so many other paranormal. It mixed in so many species that you couldn’t put these stories down. I loved it. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs Up.
Her best series yet! J.S. Striker really brought SoHo and the connected worlds to life with hilariously complicated characters. She pretty much threw every supernatural she could think of at you and made you love them as they battled demons and found love while having amazing adventures. Crimson is still one of my favorite characters, although with so many it's tricky to choose.
'I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.'
I recieved this book as an ARC and voluntarily left this review of the book. This boxset contains all of the Shifters Of Soho series and i would recommend it to anyone especially those who like paranormal romance. I have read all but the last book, and I'd say it's worth paying for the boxset even if you've got the others just because of the bonus book at the end. In some aspects it's predictable but it's written so well that you don't care.
I have read most of these book separately so rather than copy all of the reviews over and it being a mile long please check the individual reviews.
All I will say is that the world of the SoHo shifters is an off the wall adventure ride that you won't want to miss J S Striker has knocked it out of the park with all of these books and it will give you hours and I mean hours of reading enjoyment
This book was enjoyable. I liked the bundle and the stories were interesting and likeable and the writing was clear and made me like the characters. I recommend the shifters of soho box set to those who like this genre.
I love the characters and the settings. Each book qas distinctly different but melded together nicely. All creatures working together made it interesting love stories with added adventure.
As soon as I read the first page I couldn’t put it down, this box set gives you hours of reading. Adventure & love combined must read you won’t be disappointed.
