A collection of sixty true stories deals with both romantic and platonic friendship, showing how these enduring relationships are all representative of the divine harmony that pervades all things. Original.
I believe it's not an easy task to write something that could touch others' hearts. But one thing for sure, the writer of this book did just that. This book talked about a lot of things and overall I learnt to search for myself in my my own self. I guess it was such a long time ago since I last met 'myself'. What I did when I saw this book at the church on my way to Saint Kilda was to give it a chance. Listen to your heart and memories. It'll do you good.
I sometimes choose to read outside my normal boundaries and genres. This book is a series of short stories about friendships, found love, and other good things that seemingly happen by coincidence. It is a feel good feast.
I don't consider myself jaded, but these stories don't really engage me with any depth. The world is a big place, and seeming coincidences are going to happen with some regularity. I certainly believe that God had a hand in some of these small miracles, and it is nice to see Him work. However, this collection is highly selective.
I'm happy for people who like these books (it is in a series), but this adventure outside my norms is a dead end for me.
I've been in a reading rut and needed these stories. I plan to read Small Miracles II next as it is on my shelf. AND there are several more books in this series, so I ordered four more today. At a night when there is nothing but negativity, I needed some reading about miracles. My heart is lighter.
everyone should read these small miracle books. they are amazing and full of love and light and wonder. true stories of amazing events. just reading one or two a day can really brighten your day and realize the miracles in this world. many stories bring me to tears. beautiful.
