Love it!

I love this series! It is so lighthearted and lots of fun! I started reading it because I liked the anime on Hulu but I like the books a lot more! First it continues further in the story and the scene breaks in the anime leave a lot of things out.

The books are nothing remotely serious and just a modern Japanese kid goofing off in another world and bringing them entertainment and us thrills and laughs! I always wait impatiently for the next book.

The story continues in the same slow pace as the previous two books with some character development while exploring part of the world and its ancient history. While the story is entertaining, it is getting a bit predictable and things are a bit too easy for the MC made, all the more noticeable by all the times the weaknesses of his spells are pointed out but never being confronted with it. There is some character development, or to be more precise, the girls confess, which is something. Some of the MCs naïve and unperceptive behaviour is also getting a bit on my nerve, but that is typical trope for the genre so it come as no surprise. As far as world building goes, again nothing new for the genre, but mankind has been playing games (board and sport) for millennia, so why would a fantasy world with humans be any different? Still, it is an entertain read, simple comfort food to pass the time so to speak.

Touya is now off to the magic world's version of Japan! There are battles to be won, magic treasures to be dealt with and a fairly to satisfy.

Doctor Babylon has NOT made things easy!

Touya is spreading good cheer to all he meets and making the world a better place. How can anyone not enjoy his adventure?

Needs higher stakes

Problems are solved too quickly and easily. It's funny at the right moments but nothing gets development. The foreshadowing is getting better but again there's no lives on the line or his smart phone getting stolen or anything. But it's still a good series.

I enjoy this series a good bit but at times it's hard to find an overall connecting narrative. Hopefully in future volumes more of the plot will be revealed, although I do enjoy the short stories alot

Love the anime series but wanted more. If you seen the anime I recommend the books of haven't seen the anime the book is also very good. If like unfortunate circumstances the turn into funny moments this series is for you.

I really enjoy all of the details not shown in the anime. Touya is truly an exceptional character. All of his four fiancés are good characters too.

The third installment of the light novel series introduces Francesca the gynoid. A gynoid is a female robot. Furthermore, Touya now has four wives. Well, wife candidates would be more accurate. Linze, Elze, Yae, and Yumina all love Touya.

We get some extra scenes too, with how each girl feels.
