Hi I'm Allex,

I've been writing Gay Erotica on and off (quite a bit 'off' in fairness) since 2010, when I had my first story published by Xcite. It was called Safe and Sound, and it was listed in two of their Gay Sex Anthologies.

Looking back that was pretty soft-core, and even had a touch of romance about it. However, for some reason that I can't really put my finger on, my next book, and all the others after that, turned instantly very hard-core... and even 'porny' - with almost no story, just full-on sex. I enjoy writing both, but just seemed to gravitate naturally to the stronger side.

Complete and utter filth!

I've been camping with the peeps before rather begrudgingly so, but still. I remember the sleeping bag that always got too hot, the bugs, the cramped quarters, the outdoors being right there. All the time.

I've even had that dreaded experience.



And had to trudge to the spooky restrooms hoping and praying I didn't either step on a snake or get mauled by a bear.

Silly me. If only I'd been better informed.

Trouser snakes and a bear in the form of Tom I would've been happy to run across. Tom and his friends, Chris and Danny are certainly welcoming.

I'm now referring to them as The Virgin Wrecking Crew.

Frankly, I applaud this author for spreading the wrecking word. If you're a virgin and you are trying to envision what your first time should be like (and you really like porn and could give a hoot less about there being love in the equation) then get ruined by The Virgin Wrecking Crew in a daisy chain!



I, however, feel a little bit cheated by my previous camping forays and their banality. All I got was a gaggle of snoring relatives, bugs, far too early wake up calls to stick a pole into a river wherein I invariably never caught a fish that I wasn't jazzed to be ingesting in the first place and was repeatedly told to keep it down because fish can hear?

I feel cheated, so 3.5 cheated (maybe jagged little pill) stars.

This book really was delightfully filthy. I mean, it takes cojones to put it all on front street and say, "Hey, this has no plot, no character development, and it's all about the dirty, dirty fucking."

And it was. Dirty. Filthy. Awesomeness.

The one thing that changes this to a three star rating for me is no lube.

You cannot tell me that experienced gay men, used to anal sex, went out camping with the express purpose, it seemed, of glorious all-out fucking, and are using spit only for lubrication? WTF?!

And what was with no condoms? Maybe I grew up in the wrong decades, but I was taught if you are with an unknown partner you glove up, no matter what. No glove, no love. Has it changed?

This was an impulse buy for me & I deeply regret not reading the sample first. This short story squicked me out at the first sex scene & I was unable to read any further. The impression I got (which made me stop reading) was that the story was going to recount very detailed descriptions of overtly slutty M/M encounters with the emphasis being on confirming all those negative stereotypes about gay men. I could be wrong because I didn't bother reading the rest of the story, but what I did read left me feeling grossed out. If you like your sex dirty with no emotional connection & debasement being an erotic component, then this is possibly your kind of book. If you like romance then I suspect you will be disappointed with this book. As I said, I didn't read past the 40% mark so I am unable to say what happens later in the book. Given the limited word count & the title, I suspect the squicky feeling would have been with me for the whole story.

This was a very sexy, naughty and sensual depiction of a young gay male's initiation into sex with not one, but three, kind and determined guys. While camping with his family, his father is quickly agitated by the loud and drunken antics of the three twenty-something year old males at the adjoining campsite. The inexperienced young man vacationing with his parents leaves his tent late at night to use the bathroom. On his way, he is captivated by a sexy backdrop of men engaged in a threesome of erotic activity, depicted clearly on the tent's canvass in contrast to the light inside. He pauses, instantly aroused. On the way back one of the men propositions him with an offer...Would he like to take a closer look...or more?
