Following the success of Bossy, Ladylit is back with a new collection of productive tales of lesbian lust. The ladies featured in these short stories do know how to make the workplace interesting, be it a book store, a garage, a corporate office, a dairy farm or a fitness studio. Bringing together stories by Harper Bliss, Emily L. Byrne, Rachel O. Esplanade, Ava-Ann Holland and Axa Lee, ‘Bossier: More Productive Tales of Lesbian Lust’ is most certainly Not Suitable For Work.

Harper Bliss is a best-selling lesbian romance author. Among her most-loved books are the highly dramatic French Kissing and the often thought-provoking Pink Bean series. She is the co-founder of My LesFic, a weekly newsletter offering discount deals on lesbian fiction.
Harper lived in Hong Kong for 7 years, travelled the world for a bit, and has now settled in Brussels (Belgium) with her wife and photogenic cat, Dolly Purrton.
Together with her wife, she hosts a weekly podcast called Harper Bliss & Her Mrs.
Didn't have time to review this one earlier because the Netherlands were about to face off with Italy but here is a quick review of an anthology that just wasn't for me.
Objects of Desire by Ava-Ann Holland ** Technically Zara is Heather's boss but there was not a whole lot of bossing around going on. Also this one should come with a warning for 🤜. If you don't know what that means then maybe skip this story altogether.
Full Service by Rachel O. Esplanade ** Nice try trying to hoodwink me but I knew from the beginning what was going on so the 'plot twist' was ruined in the end.
Wage Slave by Emily L. Byrne **** Now this is my kind of bossy and also a great way to find out how much weight your desk can take.
Night Shift by Axa Lee ** This story is like Game Of Thrones. It has an interesting and unusual setting and a great build up but with an ending that makes you go "wait what?".
One-On-One by Harper Bliss ** This one wasn't bossy enough. This was just a trainer doing her job and telling you what to do.
I received this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Ladylit never fails and I got to enjoy another Bossy collection that was just as good as the first!
Objects of Desire by Ava-Ann Holland: I loved this story. I've always appreciated the "opposites attract" mentality and this story did just that. Steamy and fun but also leaves you with those wonderful nervous butterflies in your stomach!
Full Service by Rachel O. Esplanade: I wasn't sure what to make of this story at first but once I finished it, I found I actually really enjoyed it! I especially appreciated how you really don't know exactly what's going till the end.
Wage Slave by Emily L. Byrne: Office flings, what can I say? We've all had the fantasies and this story did not disappoint to add more to the file.
Night Shift by Axa Lee: Just not sure about this one. Very abstract and emotional but not the steamy story that the others were. I enjoyed it but it just felt a little out of place with the rest.
One-On-One by Harper Bliss: Again with the fantasies that we all have, just taken to a different level. I don't know anyone that hasn't had a work out instructor at some point that they totally lusted after. This story did not disappoint. Makes me want to go back to the gym to see what kind of trainors we have there right now...
All in all another great collection of f/f erotica from Ladylit. Would highly recommend!
Ladylit have expanded their mini-anthologies with this collection of workplace stories from five excellent writers of hot lesbian erotica.
Settings range from a gym, a dairy farm, a market and bookshop, a garage, and there's even one set in an office. I can't pick a favorite, all are hot and exciting, well plotted and well written.
From the wonderfully, wicked mind that brought you Bossy comes this lovely bit of mind candy. While I was a bit disappointed that Ms. Bliss had chosen not to stick with the original five from Bossy, I trusted her enough to look at this as a chance to “discover” new authors. I am glad I did!
Each of these stories have a similar theme, hard working regular women in the employee of another. This is really where the similarity ends. From Ava-Ann Holland's subtle beauty and grace with Object of Desire to the divine Ms. Bliss' erotic workout escapade, each was a different and each well chosen. Rachel S Esplanade's grease monkey in Full Service left me a bit hot under the collar and Emily L Byrne's Wage Slave made me long for the days in the office. The biggest surprise to me was Axa Lee's Night Shift. This was different in an artistic, makes you think and feel sort of way. It was gritty and dirty, sexual, and sad yet the ending was so full of hope. It has stayed with me the longest.
Turns out that this was not really a book for discovering new authors like I thought and rather a chance to reacquaint myself with some I had previously read. I had the pleasure of reading their work in Forbidden Fruit: Stories of Unwise Lesbian Desire, another VERY well written book!
Thank you Ladies, I will continue to be on the lookout for more from you.
Bossier: More Productive Tales of Lesbian Lust delivers exactly what’s on the cover. This mini-anthology of 5 steamy erotic short stories features women who like to tell you exactly how they want it. Hot!
3 stars. This was a better collection than the first one but still nothing more than three stars. There were good things in all of the stories that I enjoyed and they were all really hot. My favorites were ‘Wage Slave’ by Emily L. Byrne and ‘One-On-One’ by Harper Bliss. Very entertaining reads.
I received a copy of this book from Harper Bliss with the expectation of receiving my honest review. As I normally do with anthologies, I will give a brief review of each story as I finish reading them.
Objects of Desire by Ava-Ann Holland was very HOT! I'm not sure what more I can say about this story without spoiling it other than to say that I had to go outside and smoke a cigarette as soon as I finished reading it.
Full Service by Rachel O. Esplanade was okay.
Wage Slave by Emily L. Byrne was an excellent story although it would be an HR nightmare. LOL
Night Shift by Axa Lee I had trouble following this story. At times it seemed more like a list that a story. Overall this story was a bit depressing. :(
As always with anthologies, some are better than others, but I don't mind because I borrowed it through kindle unlimited. I did really like that one of the stories featured not only explicit consent, but gloves, condoms, and dams. It's so rare to come across safer sex practices in lesfic stories (including in stories about strangers) that it was refreshing to see that.
