The rescue is only the beginning. Being rescued from an illegal prison doesn't mean life will suddenly be better for the female shifters. For Julie, the terror hasn't ended. It lives in her mind every minute of every day. She can't help others help her unless she gets past the block her mind has created. But no one can help her if they don't about the block. Is she destined to live the rest of her life in a hell not of her making? Grab your copy and find out what happens when the female rescued has no way of telling anyone what is wrong.
I am not sure how to classify this one. The story was an important one in the over-all plot of the world. However, the actual romance in this one was slim. There was SO MUCH INFO DUMP going on that the romance fell by the wayside.
I gave it 3 stars because of 1) story jumping around to too many different viewpoints, 2) no real romance for the newly mated, and 3) it was disjointed in what was happening.
Julie is traumatized due to things that have happened in her past. My heart aches for her. I wanted her to be whole but wondered if that was possible. I was so happy when she found her true mate and was so surprised at who it was! I am hooked on this series. All of the individuals are pieces of this huge puzzle. I can’t wait to see the whole picture! Enjoy! On to the next.....
this story oh my! I didn't really think much about julie when we met her in Kate's book. but I am glad she too has found a true mate to draw her out of her own head. I would have loved more of Julie's inner dialogue throughout the book. maybe a short story on her capture to enlighten us more about her character? make sure u read the other 3 books first or this book will be mighty confusing xx
Although each book can be read independently I would recommend to start at Book one! I love the strong characters of the woman while acknowledging the strength of the men. But the best part is there is always a plot that requires thought and needs to be untangled. I also love how the writer has focused on emotional strengths and compassion more then the act of sex! Well written!
Found in a prison with other shifter females and taken to Save Haven to heal, Julie still barely talks.
No one knew her sister was there too, a sister she thought was dead. The only words she could get out were an Australian phone number, and one phrase, "I have a mountain, too." Then she saw a set of photos. There is a happy ending.
Loved the story and especially the part about Gannon. This series and the characters jump out of the pages at you demanding you read their story look forward to more of this series.
I started with Gabby, I’m not usually a paranormal/ sci-fi reader but it had me hooked from the get go. My only issues are I want to read the next book in the series and it’s not out yet!
I've read the first 4 - so far - and I'm a fan of the girls, the stories, the guys AND Sherry Foster! Thank you for your time talent AND THE STORY(IES)

This one was my favorite. The stories are all a bit challenging to follow in the first few chapters. However, I find the world so interesting. So glad I continued reading this series after Gabby.
Julie`s story had a lot of twists and turns. I enjoyed the strength and compassion expressed by the characters. While it had some grammatical errors, it was still a nice written.
It was a very long time ago I read books 1,2 and 3 so it felt like a new series for me and took awhile to figure out what was going on. But great storyline different.
