This one was pretty good, return of psycho Motoyasu was pretty entertaining, followed by one of the biggest battles of the series to this point. I'm kind of glad that . I really like that victory can't be gained without a big sacrifice, and the theme of even if you're not worthy of something now, you can become worthy of it later is a pretty good one. Too many stories never touch of the fact that people can change and become better. They can become worthy of power through their life experiences, even if they're not worthy of it to begin with.
And I swear the spelling, grammar and punctuation are getting worse by the book.
Just when I started thinking that Naofumi was more of a dick than a hero, this book happened. But, prepare for his wrath. He's major league pissed and someone's going to pay.

I was going through a difficult day, Warming hope in my heart. My friends saved me. Each of them responded with their own help for me.
The grateful world that glorified me did not greet me with a calm time. The pain of echoes in people’s eyes,
Visual changes of change, And the darkness that opened up behind...
Everyone has their own opinion about me, But there is no truth in the judgments. A series of dreams replaced by nightmares. This is what people have about me... Their fear was inspired by difference, When I hide behind a melancholic smile, My true position.

I read this series and fell in love with it after book 1 and the anime series just made me like it that much more. I will say this book pull at my heart strings for a little bit. Thank you Aneko Yusagi for another great book.
I hate the obsession Naofumi has with Raph-chan and the raph species but the ending of this book was heartbreaking with Atlas death. Even though I didn’t like her personality that much I still recognize how powerful she was and it’s sad to see her go in the mitts of an important battle.

El final de este libro.... el final..... Un brote de ira hubiera quedado espectacular iniciando dentro de la misma carpa pero bueno, el final fue genial y solo por eso le doy 5 estrellas aunque en genral el libro fue bueno y entretenido :D
The ending had me up late finishing it, at which point I couldn't sleep as the way it finished had riled me up so much. Ugh! I hate having to wait for the next volume!
It was great to read Naofumi getting back to the original storyline in this book. The battle with Motoyasu was good... as was the fight with the twin phoenix. Action packed read!
I’m not entirely sure how things can go from here. Facing the Phoenix exacted tolls I didn’t think would happen in this story. Honestly, this was a heartbreakingly pleasant surprise. I can’t really say what happens without spoiling, but the end of this book was a poignant one. Only time will tell how things will pan out from here, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared for Naofumi’s enemies, whoever they end up being.
The Rising of the Shield Hero Volume 15 by Aneko Yusagi The author Aneko Yusagi constantly sabotages both the plot and the story arcs. Naofumi (shield-hero) its main character is a stubborn, lazy, pretentious, asexual person. In this Volume 15 he had 3.5 months to prepare to defeat the Phoenix. In that time, he thoughtlessly allowed the dragon Galeon 2 to swallow both dragon cores, putting his team in danger. Then he promoted the level up of most of his village monsters to become Raph-clones (only because he enjoys to pet Raph); he orchestrated a coup, because he wanted Raphtalia, his first slave to continue to wear a miko outfit. Naofumi also created a criminal guild in Melromarc to weaken his enemies and profit. He then raced Filo against three of Morayatsu’s Filolials without gaining anything. Then, he did not get weapons or armor for his attack team, nor did he research or find possible strategies to overcome the Phoenix. He is then defeated by the Phoenix, fails to protect members of his team and Atla dies protecting Naofumi. This is the third dumpster fire of the light novel series. Its unforgivable to use a blind slave girl’s death remains as a power-up improvement for his shields. It is sad when the author becomes the primary obstacle and enemy to a good story. All of the author’s defects and shortcomings become apparent with this lackluster volume. The main reason this “parallel world” is a complete failure, is because of the lack of capacity, preparation, merit and virtue of the four summoned heroes. The authorities are terrible and inept as well. The waves of destruction (the only true reason to be summoned to that world) have become irrelevant to the author, to the four heroes and to all of the Emperors, Kings, Queens, etc. It’s as if, this world created by its author is imploding without any need for the waves.
