This is the first book from this author that I've read,,,, it was a good story,,,,
Zinzy Scott was a showgirl dancer for many years and after retired she is now on the launch team as the teaching and choregraphing director of the younger girls for the opening show of the new casino/showroom in Las Vegas called "House Of Stars" under the new owner, Cullen,,,, Helen Brock also retired from dancing and she is now seeing outfits for the girls onstage,,,, and her and Zinzy are friends ,,, Gemma is the lead dancer of this show, speculation is because she's Cullen's girlfriend, but one never knows,,, Zinzy is also rather impressed with the new dancer Meghan Carter,,,, Zinzy meets Meghan's father one afternoon, but Zinzy knows him way too well,,,, he's her ex boyfriend,, the one she gave up to continue with her career dancing ,, but that's not all she gave up,,,,
Mike Baxter is the owner of "The Monarch" in Vegas,,,he has a daughter whom he just shortly found out about,,,, and she has come to live with him just recently,,, Meghan had learned from her adopted parents she was adopted and Meghan put her results into a machine years ago and Mike had had his results in also and it had brought them together, but, he had no idea about the mother as Zinzy had told Mike when she was pregnant early in her career she was going to have to have an abortion, but really had put her up for adoption,,,, and now that he has Zinzy in his life again,,,, nothing or nobody was going to drag his family apart,,,,
This was a good book by an unknown to me author,,,, and I'm happy to say that I will, be looking at further work from this author,,,, I would so totally recommend this book to anyone,,,,,

A Quick Read With So Much Punch
Wow, this short story had so much punch that it left my heart aching. Zinzy now a choreographer in Vegas after years of following her dream, after a heartbreaking time in her life some 20 years ago. She’s now training dancers for a new club that is about to open. Imagine her heartache when she sees the man, Mike who she walked away from so many years ago, sitting in the front row watching his daughter, Meghan enter the dance world. This book had so much content in the storyline, most of which gutted me with what Zinzy and Mike gave up and that drove them apart, yet all these years later is what draws them together again. This is such a quick read with annoying errors in editing to rate higher.

Author presents a melodramatic story about the choices made in youth will often come back to haunt you. No one leaves this life without suffering consequences of selfish decisions or rewards for the good ones.
Zinzy made one good choice at the same time blundered a few others. Mike thinks he has gotten the raw end of a situation in his youth while thankful for another one that turned into a pleasant surprise.
Hindsight is usually 20-20 and thankfully these adults have the opportunity to get things right.

this book is one of the better accidental baby books I have read in a long while. Mike and Zinzy (love the name) are two people that ended up pregnant at a young age when both of their lives were on different paths only to find out 20 years later that what they each believed happened wasnt what really happened and it has the sweetest HEA ever makes me want to go back and read the first two and any more that end up coming out

A sweet second chance novella. Zinzi and Mike get a chance at family and love after circumstances had forced them apart twenty years ago. No oler, wiser and more mature they can appreciate the love they share and chance they are being given for a future. It is a poignant story of healing and forgiveness with a very happy outcome.

This is a fun and quick second chance romance story. I will admit I am a sucker for happy endings and stories that involve characters finally getting what they deserve. Loved the dance aspect of the storyline. The characters were fun and had me rooting for them. Only issue I had was the predictability of the story.

They both made bad decisions and it effected them both very badly. Years later they come together but what can they heal. It is intense, emotional, exciting, suspenseful and so much more. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
