YOU’RE A SPY AGENCY FOR THE SPY AGENCIES
I loved this intense page-turning spy story that is full of twists and turns that involves the good and the evil. Not everyone is quite who they appear to be, and it will keep you second guessing which team they align with. There is a large cast of characters along this journey.
Natalie Freeman is an intelligent woman, art historian, speaks seven languages and is in a precarious position with a Russian kingpin, Victor Pichenko. They are in Las Vegas displaying an art exhibit. What a shock when a man from her past waltzes in. Natalie and Oliver Barton had been lovers over two years ago, and during an operation, he was supposed to meet up with her and never showed.
The story takes the reader on an amazing journey of crime, danger, suspense, mystery, espionage, antiquities, and into the hidden arena of the spy world. Because so many unique things will take place and secrets that will be uncovered, I don’t want to reveal too much. What I will say is that Ms. Maggie Carpenter has once again taken her readers on a roller-coaster ride full of mystery and suspense.
There will be characters that are the good, the bad, the ugly, double-crossers, and ones who know how to play their cards close to their vest and come out a hero. The story has romance, a mild BDSM relationship, some spanking and explicit sex scenes. The chemistry between Oliver and Natalie just sizzles off the pages. Best of all, it’s fun to see the bad get their comeuppance and the good ones their happily ever after.

A fascinating and well written story. An absolutely lovely tale of suspense and romance, with just the right amount of heat and sexiness. The author writes such fabulous twists and turns that you are kept guessing until the end. I really enjoy stories that make me think while giving me the fantasy read at the same time. Keep up the fabulous writing Ms. Carpenter.

Ooh Spy Romance
I really like Maggie Carpenter’s writing and this was really quite excellent, there is a nice amount of suspense and a few plot twists. At the End there is terrific HEA. I enjoyed this a lot.

If you are a fan of spy movies like James Bond, add in some delicious kink and you've got yourself Maggie Carpenter's latest book Spy. Oliver Barton definitely gives 007 a run for his money, and I think he just might have better gadgets.
It's been two years since Oliver has seen Natalie, the woman he promised he'd get in touch with after a whirlwind romance is interrupted by a hail of bullets. But Natalie is now working for a dangerous Russian art thief who has it in for Oliver. He's using Natalie as bait, and Oliver has come to not only rescue the woman he loves, but to steal back plans that are vital.
Oliver and Natalie manage to rekindle their romance, while trying to take down two Russian gangsters, an assassin, and help a brilliant hacker escape. There's all sorts of cool gadgets and even a moat! I totally enjoyed this story, not only for the steamy D/s scenes but the adventures our spies had!

Action packed
This is a pretty fast paced action packed adventure. I like the HEA but sometimes a little jealousy can be used to build tension... not that this particular book needs more tension, with all the mystery and suspense of the whole spy business. I enjoyed this story, I do wonder if there really is a Bucklands Manor in the Cotswolds... it might be fun to visit if it is a real place... I have stayed at several Cotswolds Estates and they all have wonderful gardens. Oh well, I enjoyed this story... I could see Andy getting his own story... he was kinda sweet and smart and you could just tell he was going to become a heart breaker. Then there was Leo... he could use a lady partner too, maybe a real cat burglar... I wonder if this book will exprand into a series. I would read more.

This is best written book in this Series, as it is filled with suspense, dark villains, mystery, romance, hot sex scenes, cool gadgets, stolen art, and secret terrorist plots. This book felt like I was reading the script for a James Bond type movie. With each new twist and turn, I was questioning each character and their trustfulness.
I appreciated Oliver and Natalie’s previous relationship and that the author didn’t have them meet as strangers and immediately end up in bed together. Even though I could have done without the spanking scenes, they were conducted as part of Oliver and Natalie’s private lifestyle, which was not the case in the other books in this series I read. Over-all Rating 4.75

What an amazing and intense read! Miss Carpenter did it again and created a story I was not able to put down until I finished it. I am still quaking a bit when I even think about what Oliver and Natalie went through.
There is so much happening in the story that I am reluctant to reveal something about the plot because I do not want to spoil something. Let's say that Oliver and Natalie's chemistry is off the charts hot as were the spankings and the oh so panty melting love scenes.
But this book is so much more. There is a lot of action, suspense, danger, intrigue, mystery and villainous villains. Don't hesitate and buy the sexy spanking SPY.

Sexy, Nail Biting Suspense ! FANTASTIC!!!
Oliver and Natalie set the sheets on fire in this "can't turn the page fast enough" spine tingling romance suspense thriller. This is Maggie Carpenter's Best Work yet, and I've read every one of her books. The thought of this book being made into a movie makes this reader see millions of dollar signs and the story pales the fifty shades trilogy, in my opinion. No clues from me about the contents, but I would never sing the praises of a mediocre author or his/her work. This is a FANTASTIC book that I will read again in the near future.

Intriguing sexy story
Maggie Carpenter works her magic once again with Spy.
I like my heroines smart and sassy and my heros sexy with just the right amount of swagger, Natalie and Oliver are that couple. The plot line moved well with the twist and turns you hope for in a spy story. There was a great cast of secondary characters that helped move the story to a satisfying conclusion. And of course, since this was a Maggie Carlenter book the sexual attraction and interaction between Natalie and Oliver sizzled. This is a book that you won't want to put down till you come to the very last page.

Edgy romance
Oliver and Natalie’s world is quite different from ours. They live the fast life, most notably in the art world.
The story is fast paced, full of intrigue, colorful characters and hot, steamy loving. I would definitely recommend especially if you enjoy your romance with a little intrigue.

Everything you could want in a book! Steamy, mystery, intrigue, twists and turns, and lots of action. Kept me on the hook until I finished at 3 am, thank you very much! Well developed characters and storyline. Interesting and enjoyable. Best book I’ve read from Maggie yet!

Everything needed for a hot supense novel.
Some wonderful, non-stop action going on here. I didn't put this down until the rather satisfying ending. *sigh* Sparks erupted. Bullets flew. Intregue. Betrayal. Everything needed for a hot supense novel. Good job.
