Non Review Rant
This was my breakfast read. I opened my kindle app, jumped to 10-minutes quick read section, and scrolled to third or fourth page - then I found this.

'Catch Me If You Can' - I love the movie and the title was sure to catch attention.

Review
The story was short and true to its title, the con is not caught. It was sort of given and therefore predictable.

I like how the names are chosen for a reason - Sir Lingham and Rosemary Lay. The story is fast paced, but I felt some details were missing.
How Sir Lingham got so many world records?
What, when and how did he con people?
How did he become a detective?

Honestly this book could have been better if the illustration would been a little bit better. As the title and the cover of the book is really good and appeling, the story seems like just started and then ended. There is no plot development. The language is good. The narration cold have been better.

Book Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: "Catch Me if You Can" by Rafaa Dalvi

** Thanks to the author for sharing a Kindle copy of the book for review.**

** Thanks to our reviewer for reviewing the book on behalf of Literoma. **

Having read and reviewed Rafaa Dalvi's Diwali release 'Small is Beautiful : Part 2", I definitely had higher expectations from "Catch Me if You Can" and I feel happy to agree that I was not let down by the author. Rafaa Dalvi's works are way different from his contemporaries and that's what helps him creating a brand of his own. The USPs of his writing are crispy presentation and slimmest of word limits. He does not spend an extra word to stretch the story long.

"Catch Me if You Can" is a light hearted detective story (not a novella for sure) published as a Kindle edition only. The protagonist Mr. Lingham adds comic relief in addition to his real self. Though I did not find it to be a cat and mouse chase, but definitely I enjoyed the fast pace of the chase sequence. Mr. Chatterjee's character could have been better developed with more tightness in implicit traits. If I say more than this in my review, it will spoil the charm of reading this lovely tale.

Overall Literoma rates it as 3.9*/5* and recommends for a quick reading.

REVIEW OF THE BOOK-
A sweet and a short comedy that circumscribes a detective plotted on the backdrop of a cat and mouse chasse sums up the entire eighteen pages of the book. The life of every individual, viewed as a whole and in general, and when only its most significant features are emphasized, is really a tragedy; but gone through in detail it has the character of a comedy. Whatever your passion is, keep doing it. Don't waste time chasing after success or comparing yourself to others. Every flower blooms at a different pace. Excel at doing what your passion is and only focus on perfecting it. Eventually people will see what you are great at doing, and if you are truly great, success will come chasing after you.
A light read with a smiling message. Do read the book from https://www.amazon.in/Catch-Me-If-You...

Review-

Sometimes all I can find is few minutes for myself in hectic days of my work life and being an avid reader, I always have a need of reading something interesting and short books like this one helps me use that time in the right way. Author has done justice to every character and the words by narrating this tale in a short and simple way. I’ve always been fascinated towards thrill, detective based novels and movies so this book fulfilled my need at the right time.

A perfect choice for the ones who are finding hard to sleep at night and the ones who love reading but don’t find enough time to read a lengthy tale.

Title: Catch Me If You Can
Author: Rafaa Dalvi
Format: E-book
Length: 18 pages
Synopsis:
What happens when the world's best detective realizes that his prodigy has become a wanted global con artist? Prepare for a wild cat-and-mouse chase around the world.
Review:
The book is a beautifully written chase about a renowned detective and his prodigy who has turned to using his skills in a rather unethical and bad way. The story relates a lot to the current times where there is no much respect or concern towards ethics, values and sentiments. It is a short read but it lives up to the legacy of good writing that the writer has built for him. Having read the earlier works of the writer, I was expecting a good piece of writing and the book matches up to it perfectly. Anyone who is looking for a short rush and an interesting read should pick up this read.

Catch Me If You Can by Rafaa Dalvi is blended of comic and thriller. As the blurb implicit about cat and mouse game by which we can get an idea of what is the story about. Sir Lingam who becomes headlines overnight had an junior who made himself an con artist along with his partner Rosemary, the duo started to steal all over the world in the way of happens at movies especially the junior watched with Sir Lingam. So in the end of story who catches whom is all about.

The names of character was funny and the way author built plot were good even though some grammatical mistakes have present in just 18 pages novella. I hope it could be rectified in upcoming editions. Overall, Funny yet looks like old concept. I would suggest it for whom looking to an short read.

The author used very simple language and started with a comic incident.

I so wish I could write more good lines in addition to above. I so hate to write a review I would not like to read for myself!

Considering it was a short story, I still felt that a few more lines or paragraphs on the character building could have been better.

A grammatical mistake is the biggest turn down in any book. While everyone is bound to make mistakes, including myself on this very blog, but still- errors such that in such little book! Negative point for that.

Firstly I think the cover could have been something more catchy. It is a short story of chase between a detective and a con man but I felt the chase could have been made more interesting. The writing is simple and easy to understand by everyone. The book ended way too soon. If few pages were increased, story could have been made more interesting and characters could have been more developed and enjoyed than overall I would have enjoyed it more because I liked the idea of this short story. None the less you could give it a chance since it is such a short read.

Enjoy it while you have way less time to read you will finish it up before the time ends. Happy reading

Final Rating: 3.5/5

The cover looks beautiful. It justifies the title in every sense.

What an amazing short story.

The blurb of the book describes the story perfectly.

The protagonist Mr. Lingham is given a task of catching a Con who is related to him only.

The characterization is quite unique and described very well by the author.

What I loved is the description of every place and moment.

The language and vocabulary of the book is simple enough to connect with the readers.

Looking forward to read more from the Author.

A short read of 18 pages which will leave you in a different state after completion of the story. One cannot stop the laughter that follows after you have read the starting 1st page. The author has used a really unique way of writing that I’ve found for the first time among my reads. The story is a chase of cat and mouse whr the detective comes to know that his followers has turned into a con artist and is touching heights in his career. Now wht happens next can be known only whn you read the whole story. It is a short read, comic style, easy writing style, storytelling could’ve been improved. Overall it is a good read.

Catch me if you can

Cover is designed well.
Title goes according to the story. It's totally justified.
The book is a short, quick read. It's quirky, funny & easy to read.
Considering the fact that it's a really short book of mere 18 pages. Language is simple language & the story starts with a satirical sense of humour.

Most of the description has been given on the blurb where it procrastinates on - a cat and mouse chase which again fell flat. Characterisation & plot enhancement could have been better. Story needed much more consideration in a conventional constructive level.

The main drawback is the book has lots of grammatical mistakes. Editing was necessary before finishing it.

This is going to be a short review since the book itself is just 16 pages long.

Catch Me If You Can was funny, not the kind that makes you roll on the floor laughing, but the kind that makes you giggle in awkward places (like public transport?)

It was a short read, as I said earlier, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I read it over tea, and it was the best way to read it, I believe. I finished the book faster than I finished my tea 😂

Overall, Catch Me If You Can is a short, fun read and I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Brilliant, funny and totally worth the money

This came as a shocker. I didn't know the author also wrote short stories. I have read his two books of microtales and this was such a nice surprise. Worth every penny. I have normally read 15k words for this amount and it was a waste of time. This was such a fresh breath of relief amongst the vast plethora of short books available on Amazon.
I would recommend others to read his other books.
This is a typical cat and mouse chase, written in a super-hilarious style. Kudos.
4.75 stars from me.

Catch Me If You Can by Rafaa Dalvi is a comic and thriller story. The cover is good but doesn't goes with the title. The title goes with the plot. The story detective Sir Lingham, famous for holding Guiness records for all crazy stunts. Lingham is chasing his student. The book is less than 15 minutes read but I wish few more pages can be added to it. There are some grammatical mistakes apart from that the book is amazing and funny like that of cat chasing for a mouse.

Catch me if you can, is a short and sweet read. It is a detective story with bit entertainment. This is the first book I have completed in a day. Author has done a good job by writing a short story, but the plot could have been better. Book cover is quite catchy. Liked it.

A small read, penned with a good plot. However it could have a better build-up and could be a bigger story but it is impressive that writer choose to put; story only leaving around the darma world. Focus on the society, the change that brought amongst uneducated ones.

It was a short read and took about 20 minutes to complete it. The title is suitable for entire story but cover would have been something different. The story revolves around a detective and his assistant. The name and fame which is received for detective who got famous by struggling on his own and with the help of his assistant. In future due to some incidences the assistant gets detached himself from his boss detective and he himself gets into some other stuff by which both become enemies of one other. The end was not that good and I expected author to have something different end. But, writing and presentation is good about the book.

Catch me if you can truly lives upto it’s title. It’s a typical cat n mouse chase kind of tale of an accidental celebrity detective Sir Lingham and his one time assistant, Junior. The choices of names is hilarious. The story written in simple words leaves a smile on your face. Few more pages and little more elaborated version could do better justice to the story. Even the title could have been better.

The cover goes along well and the title does justice with the funny ending of the story. You will definitely feel glued to the story. Starts and ends on a high note.
