Criminal mastermind Giorgio Cattoretti is back, and in rare form. The Cat has developed a brilliant new plan to make himself millions, but to pull it off, he needs to track down a key man who is hiding out from the Yakuza in one of the most isolated areas of Japan. The Lust, Money & Murder Japanese Trilogy features the usual cast of captivating characters—Elaine Brogan, Luna Faye, Nick LaGrange, Dmitry, Tony, and of course the notorious Cattoretti—so prepare yourself for another wild, ‘unputdownable’ adventure. 13 is not unlucky for this series!

Lust, Money and Murder, Book 1 was the first book by Mike Wells that I read, and I have been hooked ever since. Despite now reaching 13 books, the series continues to develop at a fast and exciting pace. Even though Mike is famous for his surprising plot twists, I still never see them coming and this book was no exception! The characters are effortlessly transported from the previous books, yet they too evolve along with the story.

It is clear that a vast amount of research went into this book, particularly surrounding Japan and its customs. It makes you feel as if you are embarking on the adventure yourself alongside The Cat.

This is yet another unputdownable addition to the series, and I can't wait for Book 14!

WHAT AN INTENSE READ!!!

Lust, Money & Murder #13 is the most exciting and thrilling book so far!

Giorgio "The Cat" Cattoretti is looking for a Japanese plastic surgeon in the Iya Village and finds him. This surgeon can do incredible procedures and Giorgio wants him to work at Panacea.

Elaine Brogan is working on "high quality" fake passports - she's excited to be on the case.

Giorgio has not received his portion from the "pink diamond" robbery - he needs it to pay his staff and keep Panacea running.

Since his partner Leonid Lukin refuses to pay him - Giorgio contacts Mihail - he was also part of the robbery. Giorgio offers Mihail a proposition...the diamonds for a NewLife operation!

Mihail finally agrees but wants the surgeries first; then he'll go after the diamonds. Giorgio reluctantly agrees.

What happens next is absolutely intense and heart-pounding! Does Elaine help "The Cat"? Will he find Mihail and get the pink diamonds? You'll have to check it out for yourself!

Giorgio and Elaine are people you care about - and you can tell they care about each other even though they are at opposite sides of the law.

Mike Wells in an incredible Author! I found this book impossible to put down - it had me on the edge of my seat!!

I encourage anyone who hasn't read the Lust, Money & Murder series to see it for yourself! You won't be disappointed...I promise!

WELL DONE, Mike, WELL DONE!!

I enjoyed this book another unputdownable...I had sweaty palms...there is another bad about this book ...I recommend it to everyone who read book like this...onto book two...then I will read the Japanese part of it...thanks ah mil...I didn't know there is a first trilogy or I would have gotten that first...I've read so many of Mike Wells books I won't stop until I I read as many as I can...when the Cat went to find the Doc in the mountains I will say that was very interesting...the way he was tricked by the guide...I only figured it out at the end when she crossed the last time bridge...that was slick...the Cat is a genius...always wiggling out of every situation...

Love it. A fast paced, hard to put down, novel. Have read every one in the series. I liked them from the start even though the early ones did get a bit crazy unbelievable. But must say, each one gets better and better and I am totally into the main characters. Way to go!

The Cat offers a fellow criminal, a new look and identity. Things go horribly wrong, and he calls in Elaine Brogan for help. This series continues to be one of my favorites.
