S R Hollands was born in the early sixties and grew up in the county of Essex in the UK. Between 2007 - 2016 he wrote a bi-weekly column for a local newspaper. He has written several short stories for his own pleasure and in 2016 he published his first young adult novel 'A Faerie's Tale' via CreateSpace and Kindle. This book was born through the authors love of folklore, British mythology and ancient legends. He also has a passion for classical and pre-history and uses these subjects as inspiration for his work. S R Hollands is married with a family and still lives in Essex.
