Eddie Brock takes a walk down memory lane and revisits San Francisco for the first time in years. 4.5 stars. We get more back story on Eddie and his father. Some sad stuff there. We also get more about his accident when Eddie was younger. I did not see the reveal about that coming. Wow, some great writing .

Cates is writing a story about Eddie Brock that makes it hard to really even sympathize with Eddie. But then we feel compelled to sympathize because Eddie has made it hard on himself to not appreciate how much he can’t get over his past.

I love how Cates drew out the car accident part. Where we’re left unclear about what’s happening there until the reveal happens. This is just really good story telling.

I love everything about this series. I wish this was a weekly, and I’m so glad it isn’t.

Sure, better than the setup. But that's a low darn bar.

And I must be really rusty because I don't recognize the big reveal at the end AT ALL. So, no impact there.

I've really enjoyed the rest of the 'Donny-verse' so far, but perhaps Venom more so than others as Eddie feels more relatable and human.
