The Talking Star

Seven-year-old Jessie has trouble sleeping because of a bad dream that keeps returning. He decides to get rid of the dream, so one night, he tells the sky how he feels and a Star comes to visit him. The Star explains the oneness of the universe and how everything - people, stars, the sky, the trees, and the earth - is connected to everything else.

When Jessie describes his dream to the Star, she tells him the secret that will make all people happy with their lives; they need to remember that everyone is made of love.

The Star teaches Jessie not to be afraid of the dark anymore, and that darkness does not exist, even at night in a dark room. Can Jessie help make everyone else happy and teach the world that darkness is only an illusion?

It’s a very nice, positive and easy to read story.
My 4 years old boy loved it and loved looking at the beautiful pictures. Toward the end of the story he felt involved with the talking star and being part of the universe...
We’ll definitely read it again and again.
