Mr. Yield popped in at a small roadside eatery in Missouri for a bowl of grits, three crispy strips of bacon and a cup of coffee. Already angry at the bullet hole in his leg courtesy of Mr. Stop, the last thing he wanted was trouble.

Trouble came calling with the start of an antique watch, a woman named Millicent and obsessive Sheriff. It was just his blind luck that all three were about to change his life.

This was a laugh out loud, roller coaster of a romantic thriller. Author needs some serious editing help!

2.3⭐️

Decent addition to the series, but it ended quite abruptly. Apparently, this book segues to an entirely different series, The Delgado files, and features operators introduced in the previous Technician books. This book is NOT 230 pages as specified.

And, here we are; yet again, we have an author who fills the book that ends at page 100, a mere 46%. The rest of the book is dedicated to the promotion of Killers, Prologue and Chapters 1-3, Yuñior Prelude and Chapters 1-3, and Becoming the Czar, Chapters 1-3.

I am extremely angry about being duped, and had I just purchased this book, I would have returned it to Amazon for a refund.

Alrighty Then.....

Now we talkin. The double maybe triple plots are really gonna send this book into a new demention. Can't wait to see what happens. But please....try and get rid of the added letters or words in the books. Ms. Gaines...you are a much better writer than some of these mistakes

All he wanted was a bowl of grits, coffee and bacon

Brody "Mr. Yield " Johnson was tired, and Hungary and his leg hurt from being shot by Mr. Stop. All he wanted to do was get something to eat and go home to sleep after he retrieved the package he was sent to get. Millicent Channing saw how he handled the young man in the waffle shop where she was a waitress and was impressed by how he handled Luther. She knew that he was a good man and desperately wanted him to help her and her son Chad escape her life in Wentzville, Mo. She was being harassed by Chad's Uncle who was the sheriff that was obsessed with her.

After witnessing the abuse himself, Mr. Yield agreed to help them who insisted on the help of another Technician from the Company, Gabriel Neary. What Gabriel suggested, Brody was not ready for, but both Millicent and Chad were ready for their new family. To Millicent, Brody was the first man she ever felt comfortable around and got the best sleep in her life just by being with him. To Brody, he was jealous of the new family Mr. Stop had and was tired of coming to a big house alone. The loneliness was what drew both Millicent and Brody to each other. Sheriff Colton managed to isolate her from everyone in town. The couple was willing to give the family thing a try even though Sheriff Mike Colton was a bogey on their tale. He did not know whom he was messing with, as the Technicians who worked for Beauty Kurtzwilde and The Company would make sure Mr. Yield got his HEA with his new family.

The ending of the book before the epilogue was not really clear of the solution. It felt a little rushed. I would have liked to have read a little more detail about their first consummation of the new Mr. & Mrs., that too seemed rushed and glossed over. But, Olivia pulled a fast one in the epilogue. Wow...The next Technician book in the series is setting up to be fiyah with Mr. Stop, Mr. Yield, and Mr. Mann and others working together to retrieve this precious jewel before all hell breaks loose. I can't wait. Besides that, I need to know who the glitterman is. I'll have to go back and re-read "A Rainy Night in Georgia" to get a clue.

The Technicians are back and this time it is Mr. Yield on deck. Mr. Yield has no chill. It is his job to retrieve lost assets and return them to their rightful. He uses his charm, great negotiating skills and his blind luck to accomplish his goals. He is not one to kill, like the previous techs we’ve read about.

From chapter one when he meets Millicent in the Waffle House where she cooks him up a special mess of grits. He ends up completing his mission that he has only had for a few minutes - blind luck. He goes home with Millicent and finds out she and her little boy really need saving. They are being controlled by a sadistic Sheriff who is fixated on her.

The story of Mr. Yield and Millicent is adorable. It seems to be a common theme that the Company breeds lonely technicians. Lonely technicians eventually find their HEA is places they never expected. I was happy to see Gabriel make an appearance in this story, doing what the archangel does best.

I enjoyed the relationship between Mr. Yield and Chad, Millicent’s son. The kid not only looked like him when he was younger, but acted like him as well. They made an immediate connection.

The story ends with a HEA and then the epilogue gives a huge surprise. Don’t ask me what because I am sworn to secrecy. Read for yourself!

Olivia Gaines does it again! 5 star writing just in time for the summer.

I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an advanced copy

Millicent is looking for a way out. Just so happens that when she felt like things would never get better, in walks her way out . Mr. Yield has had a rough couple of days and is just looking for something to eat before he heads out to take care of his next job, but when he stops to get a bite to eat he gets way more than just some bacon and a cup of coffee. These two are both looking for something better, maybe they can find that something better with each other.
Even though the Millicent is not even close to being in the best situation and things looked bleak for her and her child, I loved this character because of her strength and her willingness to not give up. She made this book for me along with the rough exterior but soft at heart Mr. Yield. This story made me want to cry , but also cheer because evil didn't win and who doesn't love when evil takes a big kick in the pants. This was a great read and I'm sitting on the edge of my seat for the next installment of The Technicians.

Good and too short!

By the time this one touched base with a famous husband and wife CIA team it ended. Before that of course much happened bringing two of the Neary brothers, Beauty and two new people into the fray namely The Cleaner and The Glitter killer. The sheriff of Wentzvill was one evil cuss and what he was doing to unsuspecting women traveling through this town was criminal to say the least. Add to the mix his holding a terrorizing effect on other Members of this small town and you have a so-called lawman out of control. Can't wait to see if there is a sequel to this story. I enjoyed the shorts included too!

A Very Sweet and Suspenseful Interracial Romantic Comedy

Blind Luck (The Technicians Series Book 3) is a very good and suspenseful interracial romantic comedy that earned a rating of four stars. Brody Johnson met Millicent Channing in a Waffle house in small town. Millicent is a single mother of a little boy and they are in trouble. She some Brody to help her to escape the sheriff and the small town. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to everyone who enjoys reading very good romantic comedies

Ended to soon

You have made me laugh, worry, glad to read another book in this series. Outside of you're bride for hire series and of course the best rainy night in Georgia. This series is what I liked to read. Hopefully you continue with a few more, what happens when the three men get together to find this boy. And the serial killer glitter man. So I know I have one good book coming, my wish is a few more. Oh love how you interact the players in all the series. Great book how long for number 4.

I will soon have to find new words to describe how much I enjoy Olivia Gaines writings. Blind Luck is no exception. Mr. Yield doesn't seem to be lucky when he runs into Mr. Stop. However when he stops to get something to eat on his way to his next assignment all of that changes. This book addresses a very serious issue of Millicent's life being controlled by an obsessive big fish in a small pond. With no one but Mr. Yield being willing to step up and help her. The entire town has looked the other way. As LUCK would have it she , her son and Mr. Yield all got what they really wanted in life and an HEA

All coming together

All of these Technicians are making sense to me now. This was a nice story . Brody is a good guy and unwittingly walked into his HEA. Milliken is a decent young woman with a little bit that she's done a great job raising despite her situation and the crazy sheriff.
What is fascinating to me, are all the characters from other books that continuously pop up in this series.
The other scary but intriguing matter is Wrong Way and her possible run in with the "Glitter Man.". That may be very interesting .
Good book.

Spirit that can't be moved, love that refuses to yield

Millicent and Chad with all the oppression and evil they lived under still recognized God when it came their way. Mr. Yield was all they needed to start living freely and happily. No one should have to live in fear and under the thumb of an insane, dictatorial maniac. Lucky for Millicent shevfound someone with just the right connections. She knew how to be a helpmate and never let the crushing torment she lived under crush her loving and giving spirit. This trio and their broader network are worth a good sit and read.

Why did I wait?😉

I love this series and it's crossover characters to other series...But I'll start reading them and stop...for months or even a year or two.
Except for the raunchy sex scenes I loved yet another weird but wonderful pairing.
I think I may have read some of the later ones in this stretch too.
I am going to read or re-read the rest in order over the next few days. As usual each tale ends with making you crave the next one. I won't give away the pleasant surprises and I hope you Gaines fans don't sleep on these as I have...👏😊

Awesome Read!

I loved reading about Yield and how things came about with him and Millicent! I do believe that whoever reads this book will enjoy it! I am glad Brody came along when he did! That Chad was something else also!!! if he hadn't done what he did, things would have turned out so differently! I do believe everyone who reads this book will enjoy it! I definitely recommend it!

Sweet love story

Great addition to the series, Mr Yield and Millicent meet when he goes to get something to eat in the Waffle House where she works. Their rather fast courtship out of necessity is very sweet, love their interactions. As usual Olivia writes with great humor.
Looking forward to more from Olivia.

Lucked out!

Loved Mr Yield's (Brody) story of doing his job and finding a family in the process. Chad and Millicent was meant to be his and with the help of a few friends he made it happen. Olivia has done it again and I can't wait until the next book!

Oh yeah this was great!

I just don't was to say or intimate anything that will spill any of this tale--just get it. Yes, it is book 3 in the series, but it can stand alone. Those who regularly read Ms. Gaines' work will get special pleasure out of it. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I love Olivia Gaines’ books. Looking forward to reading about the Blakemores and Yunior. I am not keen on Blind fate because of Glitter man.. but the humour of Gaines characters is what keeps me reading.

I LOVE THE TECHNICIANS SERIES!

Brody is every bit his name in a lovable way. Lol, I don't blame Milicent for wanting to make "Waffles" with the man. Chad should get a great gift for unintentionally bringing those too together🤣🤣🥰

It was going great until…

… at the end an epilogue introduced an entirely new book… Yunior… which turned into the introduction and first chapters of that new book. Didnt care foe Yunior’s story. Loved this book 3 of the technicians series until that turn.

Their Savior

Mr. Yield was just passing through this small town. Little did he know he would be carrying and eventually keeping precious cargo that needed to get away from danger.
