The Amish Bachelor’s Baby by Jo Ann Brown

Working in Caleb Hartz’s shop fits perfectly with Annie Wagler’s plan to match him with her twin sister. But with his business, his farm, and now his teenage runaway cousin and her baby, Caleb has no time for romance. But working together to care for mother and child, Caleb and Annie may both need to protect their hearts… Their Convenient Amish Marriage by Cheryl Williford

The last thing widowed single mother Verity Schrock expects is to find her former sweetheart back in town—with a baby. Now the bishop and Leviticus Hilty’s father are insisting the two marry for their children’s sake. But the wounded warrior hurt her once before. Can a marriage of convenience lead Verity to forgive and risk her heart again?

The first book, The Amish Bachelor’s Baby was a sweet story of the deep and unselfish love that sisters can have for each other. As two people who don’t want to get married end up falling in love. I enjoyed the information about the Amish bakery and the starting of a new Amish settlement. This was part of a series called “Amish Spinsters Club” and I have read a few books but not in order. It is definitely a stand alone book but now I want to read everything in the series.
The second book, Their Convenient Amish Marriage by Cheryl Williford, was perhaps one of my favorite Amish romances yet. It’s the first time I’ve read of a more modern Amish community in Pinecraft, Florida. I really want to visit there. No talk about horse and buggy’s but rather, survival of this community after awful hurricanes and storms. It’s the first time I’ve read of an Amish man turned English but wanting to return to the Amish with having a very troubled past. Will he be forgiven and allowed to live amongst his family and community once again? I didn’t want this book to end. I wished there was at least one more chapter. Both of these books were outstanding. Previously published in 2020 by Harlequin Love Inspired. I want to read more by Cheryl Williford.
