Hot women, ridiculous action, new powers and a story that keeps on ticking -- the superharem phenomenon is back!
It’s time for the Cherry Blossom Girls to become who we’re meant to be. Solving murders? Taking on famous Hollywood actresses who have gone rogue? Exposing a terrible government program to the masses?
Comes with the territory.
One more mutant facility to destroy and we can set our sights on bigger things and faraway places. But it isn’t going to be that easy, and there are other factors at play, risks we’re going to have to take if we want to expose the truth.
I just hope I’m ready to live up to the hype when the time comes.
Warning: Cherry Blossom Girls 5 contains a harem; LitRPG humor/stats; violence; telepathic, shifter, teleportation, mimic, vector, vampiric and sound amplification superpowers used for auto theft, mind games, and the exploitation of the general public and saving lives! This series was inspired by The Tick, Stranger Things, Deadpool, Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions, and the anime Elfen Lied. It's meta fiction at points, but you should know by book six.

I love the series, and this was another solid effort.
To Harmon, I would say thank you for ending some of the six story plot arcs. I’m glad to be done with Mother and some of the others. It was old hat in the end.
SPOILERS AHEAD————————
I feel like She was never well developed as a character, so I don’t feel the impact of her loss as much. It almost felt heavily choreographed from the moment she was introduced and so Harmon never developed her more. But otherwise I love the story.
I don't know if you've read the other five novels in this series, but if you haven't, GET EM!! Get this one too, because HARMON COOPER continues to entertain in strange, sexy and action-filled ways! LOVE,LOVE,LOVE the characters, wit and humor that this author throws at you like a major-league pitcher, and I run to get these stories as fast as the author puts them out! READ IT! (for entertainment purposes only)
With the ending of this story ARC i couldn't believe how fast the book went. The constant page turning of this made me sure that the characters development has been so persuasive i now even find Gideon has turned into a great guy. At the start i found him quite annoying but along with the tech, powers and leadership now in use, I'm just amazed at how far this series has come along. A must buy from me and im sure from you.
I enjoyed the book and enjoy how the characters are progressing and growing into their roles. Gideon is starting to be a real leader and develop into a take charge person. The reaction of the government in the book is pretty close to what I think ours would do. The death of one on the CBG is shocking but helps to show that what they are doing is dangerous. Overall I enjoyed the book a lot.
To understand this book, you really should read the prior books in the series. Each one adds to the prior storyline. The CBG's are a wonderful group of regular girls, but with super unique powers and increadable beauty. The story is fun and exciting and I'm looking forward to seeing where the characters go from here. It would be nice if they could take a break for a while before their next battles.
Good continuation of the story. The pacing was slow and the climax was shallow. Even with all the build up and turns of events. It still came out very blah. Like Cooper struggled to find out what this book was about. He knew what boxes he wanted to check. What details and information he wanted in the book, but forgot he was telling a story. The plots just all over the place. That being said I still enjoyed the read.
This series has made me feel the full range of emotions. The first five have made me laugh, feel nervous and excited, and now, with number six, it’s made me cry. If you’re a fan of the series, brace yourself. If you haven’t read any of the books yet, I suggest you do so, as this definitely one of the good ones.
Harmon Cooper has show us again that he is a talented and skilled Author this book series is awesome and I love this book from start to finish. The characters are well written and informed the whole idea of this book and the world are interesting I just love this book 12 /10 stars......... ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Cooper continues to develop his characters and plot in such a manner that the series is a joy to read. The sixth book continues to expand on the series and is a must read!
My daughter would be in the strike zone for it. But in regards to CHB I can think of a bunch of ways to bring her back! First loss due to combat is okay but bringing her back would be better! Can’t wait for the next book!
Another fun romp of the CGB girls... Harmon Cooper keeps getting better with each addition... Once I got used to some of the color of the storyline, it became a romp through playful relationships... Just a fun story to read!
I am liking the way this is turning. This book alone has made you realize that, despite their power, they are still vulnerable. Can't wait to see what comes next.
I like the main character, love the girls and stats. CBG is a fun and exciting series that is hard to put down, and even harder to wait for the next installment.
I would probably have normally given it a 4 star. This story didn't have as much of the appeal as the previous ones. No new CBGs, reduced witty quotes, ehh. It dropped another star because I don't like the ending.
Spoilers ahead.
Seriously, you had to kill Fiona? Granted she was the weakest character of the lot, but I would have preferred for it to be a holdover saying they will find a way to bring her crystal body back, not outright destruction. That's just me though rating a book in my happiness level, which wasn't much
This series just gets better and better with each new book. The action scenes are fabulous (as usual), but this time Gideon and the CBGs wish to do some good for the world. What can they do? You'll be surprised at Gideon's choice. It's shocking, deadly and criminal.
The girls get to exercise their house renovation muscles when they find a new base, and put a lot of what they've learned from their avid television watching into reality.
Gideon does something huge which puts Veronique into a major 'huff puff' as she's really angry about it. I'm not sure he should've done it either, but time will tell if his choice was the right one. It's revealed that Chloe has a special superpower that could drastically change the outcome of things. It's wonderful. I laughed so hard. Simple, but very, very effective!
The twists and turns are ingenious. The humour, the characters, the storytelling, the action, Gideon's 'real' comments regarding the genre and other authors, and the tragic heartbreaking ending, all combine into an excellent book (and series) that you'd be downright silly to miss.
I chose an eARC which I voluntarily read and honestly reviewed. All opinions are my own.
