Who would’ve thought after everything that’s happened, things could get even worse? Well, I should probably be used to things getting worse before they get better for Naofumi and his peeps, but you know. You want to see the rainbow but not deal with the rain. ...I’m not making any sense. Just know that this volume reveals new enemies and new sides to allies. The mystery behind the Waves grows deeper still, and future enemies are to be stronger that ever. One can only hope Naofumi and company are up to the task.
-This book is a fun read and is great for short sessions. I'm looking forward to the next volume! Could be read from only a few books back instead of volume 1.
I thought the storyline of the Hero killer from the previous book was going to be a one-off, but the same storyline continues on into Kizuna's world. This one isn't quite so epic as the previous book, but it's still pretty good.
Not as good as previous volumes... mainly because the storyline as slower and the book wasn't its usual length. It also ended at a stage that felt incomplete and unfinished, not a 'cliffhanger' just done 😐 the main characters relationships also weren't as developed like previous volumes, there was no growth and the situations between the 2 main characters was stagnant. Disappointing but ive read this far and the anime has been a fun watch, so maybe the next one will redeem it 😉
