I was an intern, but now I’m the Key to stopping the destruction of the four worlds. Life never does the expected, does it?
After barely surviving a trip through a magic portal I landed in Atlantis and now I’m training. For what exactly? No one knows. At least not until I demand answers from the queen’s advisers. What do I get? A prophecy and some murals. How on earth am I supposed to figure out what to do from that? But then, I guess I’m not on earth anymore, am I?
With four drool-worthy warriors tempting me at every turn I need to figure out how to stabilize Atlantis and fast. Trouble is brewing on the other worlds and I have a feeling whatever is happening to the four worlds is only just getting started.
*Previously titled Fire. 18+ #whychoose romance. Content Warning: Steamy love scenes and plenty of sexy warriors who will leave you wanting more. This book also contains some m/m themes.*
USA Today bestselling author Helen Scott spends her time alternating between fantasy and reality. She likes to think she’d be sorted into Hufflepuff and would have been a Physical Kid from Brakebills. Her days are fueled by tea and cuddles from her four-legged kids and amazing husband in their home in the Chicago suburbs.
When not reading or writing, Helen can be found baking, enjoying a walk in the woods, crafting, or playing video games. She’s a lover of sushi and K-Dramas and is convinced there is magic in the world if you know where to look.
Whether paranormal or contemporary, Helen loves writing sassy, kick-butt heroines and drool-worthy love interests. She's the author of the House of Wolves and Magic series, the Cerberus series, and the Of Demons and Dragons series.
At the end of the first book we were left with a cliffhanger - Tessa arriving but no guys around. And while it gets solved, it's done in a let me catch you up buddy way, instead of having us there as things happen. Miss one. The second miss for me was in just how long it took for things to get going, and while I recognise this is what tends to happen with the middle books in series it still annoys. It annoyed me about as much as K being ugh did, which is to say a lot. And sure there are three other interesting and not ugh guys around somehow it felt like they didn't get as much attention as supreme ugh. Which given what happened with F and G makes it worse - or I'm just very aware of ugh male characters.
Some solid world building in this book as with Water, but this one just couldn't get past it's middle book issues.

This is the second installment of this series and it was a really great read! It picks up pretty much where we left off in the first book and the adventure, mystery and romance continues! I love the world building ( I wish I could visit Atlantis! haha) that takes place in this story as well as how the relationships between Tessa and the guys are developing at what feels like a "natural" pace. Nothing feels rushed when it comes to how they feel about each other. I am really intrigued with this story line. I am curious to see how the prophecy plays out and what Tessa and the guys do next. I enjoy the pace of this series and the time the author takes to add just the right amount of description to everything so that it feels like you are right there with Tessa.
This is the second book in this series. It essentially picks up as the first closed on its last word. Although this can be read as a stand-alone I think it tastes better done in order. So read as each one comes available or wait for the series to be complete so you don’t have to holler at your e-reader it should be out already. I love Tessa as the story develops you see growth within her character. I am thrilled that time is taken to develop the characters and continue world building. Since he seems the least developed of the mcs I have to tag Kai as my hopeful favorite male mc. Truthfully at the end I am sure I will be in love with all. I received a free copy of this book and submit my opinion for your review.
Another fantastic story by Helen Scott and Fire is book 2 of the Four Worlds series, I hadn’t read book 1 Water but I don’t think that it makes too much of a difference. This story is exciting, action packed, 4 sexy men, adventurous, passionate and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. There are 4 different worlds the first one is Water then Fire Air and Earth are coming soon and I can’t wait, I enjoyed this story but I will end up getting book 1 Water so I know the plot from the beginning. This is a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.
Oh my this series just keeps getting better and better. Fire starts where the last one left off. In this one we learn a lot more about Griff and what makes him tick. I absolutely adore how strong Tessa is becoming. She is a fantastic female lead and our support men are just as amazing. This one has a lot of action and drama throughout it. It keeps you pulled in and doesn’t let you go. You just have to find out what happens. Man I can’t wait for the next one to be ready. This is becoming one of my favorite series.

Fire is the second book in the series, and picks up right where Water left off. It starts off both summarising essentials and moving the story forward at the same time, and once Tessa and her warriors' adventure starts moving, it doesn't let up!
It's obvious that they're in a world nothing like our own, but Tessa deals with it in her stride. Her character and her abilities build to better face what's ahead, and the men's relationships are developed further as we see them in smaller groups.
There's also a great cliffhanger for the next book!

2nd book in the series, it is an emotional & adventure packed book. The irony is that I had passed the 1st book in the series and not read it, after reading this book I'm really regretting not reading the 1st book.
All in all an amazing read.
Story, characters, plot, back ground everything was flawless. There's a bit of everything, vampires, zephyrs, mermaids and so so so much more.
I don't have words to express my excitement at finding this series. Since I am not into the genre of reverse harem, liking this book was even a bigger surprise.

Awesome continuation to the series. Book two basically picks right where book one ended with plenty of adventure, mystery and intrigue. I absolutely loved where Finn was the focus on book one now we're focusing on more on Giff. It's also great to see Tessa has finally gotten a backbone and is starting to stand up for herself. I'm super excited to see where the story will go from here and also see how this prophecy will play out. And what's going to happen with other 2 relationship. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read. I received a free copy via Booksprout I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
Fire is book two in the Four Worlds series. This has a well written storyline with excellent world building and interesting characters. This book picks up from where Water, the first book, ended. Tessa, MFC, is becoming stronger and is developing a backbone. I enjoyed the way her relationship between herself and her men develops. There is plenty of action, adventure, intrigue, suspense, and romance. You are drawn into the story from the beginning. Am very interested to see where the author takes us in the next book. I recommend this book as well as the first book in the series. Received a copy from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Fire is the second book of the Four Worlds series by Helen Scott. This books starts off where they left off in the first in Atlantis. Tessa is the key to saving the four worlds and in this book she searches for the answers to fulfill the Prophecy. While her relationships with her four men, Finn, Griff, Dres and Kai intensify. The story captivates your attention right from the beginning full of drama, danger, suspense, emotion and passion. This series has everything I love in a reverse harem. Each book is better than the last and I am so looking forward to reading the next book in the series Air!!!
This is a great follow up in the series, the arc develops really well, answers are given and more questions are raised. For those of you focused on the RH and romance part, rejoice for we get the start of her poly relationship, Tessa comes to terms with the fact that there's no way she's choosing one of her suitors, and she also refuses to come between their friendship, good for her they are demons, and used to unconventional relationships. Next up we have Dres' world of wind and mind readers in turmoil to save.

This story picks up beautifully from book 1 and continues to take us on Tessa's journey of discovery in Atlantis, both of the fantastical spots they end up in, and also with her men. We get good insight into Griff and some steamy times with both him and Finn. I do like that we got good progress in the honesty of their feelings and we get to see her strength continue to grow. There's danger, drama and mystery galore and it was a very enjoyable read. Can't wait for the next book!
I really got into this book and couldn’t put it down. Each of the four men and Tessa are so unique. They all have something very unique about them as well as their general character is so different from the next. I really felt for Tessa as she is trying to understand and find her way. Some of the men help and others need smacked in the head. But you gotta love them all. A very unique story of finding your way with a very mysterious background. And the relationship is definitely heating up with some of the men.
I loved the twist on the two guys that were in the forefront of this book! I was not expecting that! I love the dragon aspect of the books as well. I've always had a fascination with then and this books makes me wish they were real! I felt every emotion in this book along with the characters, especially the end! The growth and strength of character that Tessa shows in this book is very refreshing and I'm excited to see her grow even more! I can't wait until the next adventure!
Great second book! I loved Water and Fire added to the greatness. I love how the story is progressing. I also really like how the relationships are developing naturally and its not inst-love type deal. I really love the different worlds and how they are connected and I can't wait to see where their story will go from here and how the prophecy will play out. I can't wait to see how the other 2 relationships develop in the future too. Great series and I can not wait for more.
Great pick up where Water left off. Such an adventurous story line. Where Finn was the focus male in Water, Griff was the focus male for this book. I love how in each book you learn new bits of information of the woulds and of each characters. So many things happened and I can't go into detail without spoiling the book. I cannot wait until the next book Air comes out!! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This books pick up right where it left off. There’s so much action going on at every turn and the road to accomplishing their goal seems to be getting tougher as they go. The group is still pretty much flying blind when it comes to the prophecy, but we were given enough bits and pieces to the puzzle to get you hooked and guessing what will happen next. Can’t wait till the next book comes out!!
Helen Scott continues to build numerous world that will come together. I like that this continues right where "Water", book 1, ends. I also like that Tessa's relationship between her and her men is not all butterflies and rainbows, there is award moments between them. This is a book with many adventures and many emotions. I received an advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a honest, unbiased review.
I loved this book. It is an excellent addition to the series. The book is well written and the story and characters are well developed. I love the character dynamics and watching their relationships grow. The story was action packed from the start and there was plenty of suspense, intrigue, emotion, hot chemistry and romance. I’d highly recommend this book and look forward to future books in this series!!

Fire picks up exactly where Water left off and so does the action. In this book more pieces to the puzzle are added but more questions remain about what is going on. Along with e everything else dragons are added to the mix and I just love every minute of it. I'm excited to read the next book in this series.
This book picked up right where the other left off. I like how Tessa has finally grown a backbone and starts standing up for herself. It's definitely not all rainbows and sunshine between her and the guys but there is a little more character development. It's been an interesting read and I want to find out what happens.
Fire starts right were Water ended. I like that! Tessa has picked up a new little friend and we see some of her backbone has returned. Time to remember who she, herself, is! I like that she stands up to the Queen and, apparently, so does the Queen! More drama, more danger, more hunks! The progression is there - when do we see book 3?!
This is a very good installment to the series but should be read in order to understand everything. The storyline is well-crafted, with excellent world-building and defined characters to whom the reader will respond. I found this read enjoyable and entertaining.
