I have to say that I absolutely loved this story from beginning to end as it was so much fun and was infused with tons of humor and we loved that in a story. The more books I read from this author the more we fall in love with her works of fiction.

We really enjoyed the plot and its character's and we loved that it revolved around a group of sisters. I really loved Melody's and Jaxson's love story their entire courtship was down right hilarious and I have to say that I laughed through the entire story.

I always pick a favorite character but, this time around it was extremely hard but, my choice is Melody in the fact she had such an amazing sense of humor. A also found her to be sweet ,kind and caring, smart, emotional, sexual and was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside.

Jaxson - We found him to be sexy, sweet, kind, had a sense of humor and possessive as well as protective and really good at his job.I think we fell head over heels for him our self from our first being introduced to him. Just yummy....

These character's had some major chemistry going on to the point they couldn't keep the hands off one another so that meant there was a lot of sexy love scenes happening throughout the entire story. Can you say Hot! Hot ! Hotter ! lol

Overall we loved the plot and the drama the few twists as well as few surprises that was filled with a great cast of character's and we loved them all.We loved the sweet romance and courtship between Melody and Jaxson that was pretty much love at first sight kind of thing but, they were really perfect for one another in every way.We also loved that the author found a way to include some of the Dogs of Fire MC members that was a nice touch as we love that series.I am really looking forward to getting caught up on this series very soon.

One thing we loved about the story the most is that is was easy to connect with the character's right from the very beginning and we were already pretty much loving them from the onset of the story and when that happens for us we already know we are going to love the story before us and we did just that !

Goes into the keeper pile to be read time and time again.

Recommended read to all!

Harmony and Jax - what a great pair. Harmony is hilarious and Jax is just as close to perfection you can get. Gotta say that I'm not liking Melody much at all - she played the child star turns into hot mess very well. It's amazing what you will put up with from a sibling but kudos to Harmony for finally telling her to shove it. I love the way all these series tie into one another. All the men are super alpha males who find their strong women.

3 & 1/2 stars

Jaxon and Harmony’s story features a ridiculously attractive FBI agent, and a sweet southern belle who works as an assistant while she keeps an eye on her rebellious younger sister who is an Uber famous (and totally obnoxious) singer, songwriter, and actress. When a stalker leaves threatening messages the Dogs of Fire VP calls in a favor which brings Jaxon and his teammates Brock and Dallas onto the case. The main part of the storyline is the fiery attraction that flares between Jax and Harmony the first time they lock eyes on each other. Insta love stories are kind of far fetched in my opinion but this one is well written and the character development is good. I read the entire Guardian series in order but the books must not run concurrently because there were a lot of characters and backstories I didn’t recognize. Fortunately, this story is appealing in its own right and I’m sure I’ll catch up as I get farther down the suggested reading order although this book doesn’t appear on the list. I really enjoyed this couple’s light hearted banter, their entertaining sexual innuendos, and the surprising lack of excessive melodrama that is usually prevalent in this author’s books. I hope the trend continues. The stalker plot has great promise but I hoped for a lot more details of their investigation and most of the action happens in the background of the story. More passages of action filled circumstances are always appreciated. I was really pleased with the addition of Harmony’s criminal justice background and the emphasis on her career goals in the story. All in all I enjoyed this book.

What a great addition to the Guardians series. The author has given us a suspenseful yet fun, sexy read which is totally Pipers style. I loved how she has tied this series and the Dogs of Fire. The characters are well defined and down to earth - very relatable.

Having two sisters of my own, I know how sibling stress can be. But at least I didn’t have own that had the temperament and ego as Melody. I truly didn’t like her at times and like Jaxon I sure wanted to bop her on the head a few times. Melody being famous comes with the good and the bad. She is being stalked by someone and her sister/PA, Harmony, seeks help to find out who is stalking her. Jaxon’s team is given the case and it’s determined both sisters need to be guarded until the stalker is caught. Jaxon is assigned to Melody. From the moment he meets with her the fireworks happen. Their chemistry is off the charts

From her to book takes off. Jaxon and Harmony got the a string of events while trying to keep her and her sister, Melody, safe. But who is doing this and why? The suspense will keep you guessing and the humor and romance will keep you flipping the pages. 2 Thumbs up for a great 5 star read that I highly recommend.

I LOVE author Piper Davenport and all of her crazy characters!! This book is no exception! I adored Harmony's story and love that she finally found her HEA! This book takes the reader on a roller coaster ride that has plenty of loops, curves, twists and turns! The reader never knows what is going to happen next!

Harmony and Jaxon find out that perhaps they may not have been looking for love, but it may find them. They aren't sure who the stalker is after, where to find them or what needs to be done to save them, but what they do know is that they have feelings for each other that they aren't sure what to do with.

The reader will laugh (out loud), yell, curse the author (sorry Piper) but in the end they will be happy! This story is one that you read once and then start over again immediately because you zoomed through it so fast the first time you need to know what you might have missed. You will 100% for sure have a book hangover that may last for days if not weeks!

One of my favorite books so far this year! I am already looking forward to the next book by this author!

Harmony Morgan is the older sister of the biggest star on the planet, so she's become her assistant, and things have gotten very complicated when said sister has become a crazy person, on top of a dangerous stalker getting closer. They get Jaxon Quinn, an FBI agent to help keep them safe, while hunting down that stalker, but he wasn't crazy about taking the assignment, as he's heard all about Harmony's crazy sister. However, what he wasn't prepared for was Harmony, or the instant attraction he would have for her. Their sparks are flying everywhere, and they won't be denied, so when Harmony has enough of her sister & needs a break, Jaxon takes her near his family/friends & those sparks ignite into sexy times that light the sky up. Unfortunately, there's still that stalker out there who isn't done yet, so big twists are coming, which flip the switch for my f-bombs to drop. Spotlight kept me on the edge of my seat cover to cover, as the amazing Piper Davenport brought the thunder from the very beginning, and didn't let up until the very last page. I LOVE this series, and hope there's more coming! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

I am going to blame Piper Davenport from now on for never being able to get anything done around the house lol. Her books have a way to suck you into the story that you will not put the book down until it is finished. This was a great read, although there were moments I wanted to choke out Harmony's sister for being such a b.... With a stalker around and Harmony being worried about her sisters safety Jaxon is hired on to lead the investigation into the stalker. At one point Harmony finally has enough of her sisters antics and throws in the towel. Going on a road trip with Jaxon away from all the spotlight she comes to the realization that she is actually the target.
This book really keeps you guessing on who is stalking Harmony. I was surprised when I found out who the culprit is and his motives. This book has suspense and humor alike wrote into it so it is most definitely a must read. Spotlight is a great edition to the Guardians Series. Piper Davenport has never disappointed me with any of her books. She always keeps me engaged in the story wanting me grab her next release.

Loving the suspense in this book! I spent the entire book going back and forth on who the stalker was and was genuinely surprised at the outcome of the events! Something I really enjoy that Piper does is that she intertwines all her different series in each other. Whether it is romantically or assisting other characters within that book, they intertwine and you are really able to read all of her books and have the background and understanding. I am a huge fan of the Dogs of Fire, so I really enjoyed their visit and role in this book. Harmony is the middle sister of superstar Melody and works as her personal assistant, but her sister has a total bad attitude that makes you really want to hit her the bulk of the book! Jaxon is tasked to help and find out who is stalking Melody, and through that, Harmony and Jaxon meet and sparks fly. Instant attraction hit and it was a great read of witty remarks and true love. Overall great story and can’t wait for the next book involving the Dogs of Fire!

I can absolutely, without a doubt, say that I was totally blown away by this book. I've enjoyed many books by this author (only all of them!) I love the mixture of romance, heat, and the trouble that always seems to follow her characters. But this book went above and beyond, giving me a story that kept me completely engrossed, right through to the last page.

Melody is the sister of a superstar. She is also her sister's PA. She lives in her sister's shadow, not really knowing who she is on her own. When a stalker appears, Jaxon Quinn, FBI agent, is thrown in her path, and the connection is so strong, she can't get past it. It's absolutely electrifying!

This book was just.....amazing. It was like an mystery, mixed with a romance, with a bit of danger thrown in. As much as I love romance, it's just not as good without a strong story line behind it. Spotlight had everything I want and so much more. This was a fun, action packed romance that will be on the top of my must-read recommendation list!

I loved it... Wanted a bit more drama, but all in all I really enjoyed it, but I should have expected it. It's Piper Davenport.

When you first meet Harmony in the beginning of the book, I thought she was a shy pushover type of girl. But the more you read, the more I have to say she was someone that didn't let anyone walk all over her. She stood up for herself with her biatch of a sister Melody and when she and Jaxon got together she was not shy, in or out of the bedroom.
The way the were together was just so right from the start. The attraction to one another was instant and Jaxon didn't wait to make it known that he wanted her.
Loved the suspense in the book and the hot steamy parts, holy moly. Their banter was just so easy and funny and sometime so sweet. My favourite parts are the family get togethers and definitely loved the action parts. I can't wait to read Lyric's story.

Oh and there is a bit of a preview in the next Dogs of Fire Series... Whoop Whoop!!!

I can’t believe this is the first book I’ve read in the series! I will be remedying that here shortly and reading the first two books. Harmony has had to grow up fast now that she is the personal assistant for her little sister. While managing her a little sister’s singing and acting career these two fight like cats and dogs and Harmony is at her wits end with Melody not taking things seriously especially considering she has a stalker. In comes Jaxon, FBI agent, as a favor to the author who wrote the book which is in turn is being turned into a movie that Melody is starring in. From the beginning Jax and Harmony have this undeniable chemistry. They are thrown together under stressful circumstances and the bond grows. Will they be able to thwart the stalker in time before someone gets hurt? This book had me on the edge of my seat in anticipation of finding out who the stalker was. Paired with a witty and hilarious banter between Jax and Harmony made for an excellent read. I can’t wait to see what this author has up her sleeve next.

This is the third in the Guardian series, which ties into the Dogs of Fire MC series. So if you haven't read any of those, you might be a little lost as there are A LOT of characters thrown in. When Harmony realizes that her famous actor sister's stalker is actually the real deal, she reaches out for some help. She ends up getting Jaxon, who is doing a favor for Darien. Sparks fly when they see each other for the first time, but as the situation is on the very serious side, neither acknowledge it. As the danger gets amped up, will Jaxon be able to keep Harmony safe? Will the two be able to keep things platonic between them?

As far as Piper Davenport books go, this was not my favorite but it was still good. I didn't really feel the spark between the two, which when it comes to insta-love made it harder for it to be believable. This was a quick read, that had a lot going on, and was very entertaining. I give this 4 stars.

Out of the spotlight!

Harmony is the assistant to her famous sister, Melody. When a string of events causes Harmony to worry that her sister has a stalker, the FBI gets called in. Jaxon is the Agent called in to meet Harmony and discuss her concerns. Both are instantly attracted to the other and their relationship quickly takes a turn from platonic to intimate😍

Harmony is an amazing character with so much humour that she had me in stitches laughing and I loved Jaxon’s easy go with the flow attitude. Definitely didn’t expect the stalker to be who it turned out to be but definitely will be reading more in this series. I’ve also decided to read some of the Dogs of Fire MC series as there are quite a few characters from that series that made an appearance in this one that I felt I was a bit lost because of their stories, so I’m going to make an effort to read those as Lyric, Harmony’s oldest sister will be appearing in the next MC book❣️

Love Shines Bright

Of the three books in the series this was the best one. It felt more complete without as many timeline jumps or what felt like gaps.

This storyline had more lighthearted moments than previous and those in the original Dogs series. Jaxon's thoughts on Harmony and her ultra famous and difficult sister Melody had me laughing out loud. Some of the interaction between Melody and Harmony made me really want to slap someone.

The scenes developed better and the suspense as well. The reveal of the stalker was a total surprise. I kept thinking it was a different character so the reveal was a scene stealer.

Initially wasn't sure the purchase of this part of the series was a good investment but this installation made it worth it. Fewer tense and focal point switches and much better developed characters. By the end I felt like these people could be real individuals with their names changed for the stories.

Wow, I am so glad I stumbled across Piper Davenport’s books a while back... and that includes Jack’s books too...they are that amazing! The Dogs of Fire series is amazing and started me on my journey of everything Davenport, but I have to say that the Guardians books are totally fantastic also and tend to include characters from Dogs of Fire and other related books...definitely a win, win! In Spotlight we get to revisit the Quinn clan, focusing on Jaxon and he’s such a wonderful guy! Strong, sweet and so sexy, he definitely keeps your interest. And Harmony Morgan is perfect for him, with her sweetness and sass, they’re great together. Love this book so much, Ms. Davenport has given us another winner, absolutely can’t wait for the next book in the series. Highly recommend this book and all the Davenport’s other books, you definitely won’t regret these reads!

I am putting all the blame for not working out in the fields today on the shoulders of this author. I started the story last night but my Kindle died. Fully charged and raring to go this morning I couldn't resist reading just chapter or two. Two moved into three and so on and so.

The goat hut still needs cleaning. The road still needs dragging. Weeds need to be abated. And yet I have not one grain of guilt in my body because of choosing to read Jaxon's story. I have read so much about this man in other books. The author teases and teases about this hunk. Finally the wait is over. He stars, and Oh my does he shine, in his own book.

As an F.B.I. agent, Jaxon has worked on numerous cases, many crossing over into the Dog of Fire series (a drool worthy series if I may say so myself). Connections to the writer involved in a movie finds him working on the stalker case of Melody Morgan. He soon discovers that the one he needs to protect is Harmony.

She brings out every protective bone in his body. HAWT!!!! Steamy!!! Bring on the lusty moments, the sweet moments, the romantic moments. Are you starting to see why I didn't leave the book to go outside. Chores will be there tomorrow, but I would not have had the patience to wait on the "who done it", the "I need it now", the courtship and the fall.

I don't want to give the story away. I want you to enjoy it as much as I did. Be prepared to be sucked in. Be warned that it is so addictive. Enjoy the ability to adore some characters and want to slap others. This story has a wonderful balance.

The story is over flowing with HEAs. Harmony doesn't just find happiness in love but in life.

I absolutely loved this book!!!! I was hooked from beginning to end. Harmony was a PA for her sister Melody. Harmony was concerned when strange letters and things happening. Jaxon is an FBI agent who was tasked in finding out who was stalking Melody. It comes to light that the target isn't Melody but Harmony. Jaxon whisks away Harmony to somewhere safe until he can figure out who is behind all of this. Feelings develop an connection is made between the two. They were so good for each other and I adored them finding love despite what was going on. It was such a great story....one that I highly recommend. I am hoping that the 2 remaining Morgan sisters find their HEA and maybe they will get their story told (wink wink) I can't wait to see what this talented author comes out with next and you best believe I will be there to scoop it up and devour it like I do all of her books. Well done!!!

Triggers: A character is threatened with r@pe, torture and death.

I just love, love, love them. Harmony was lovely and Jax was perfect. They were great together.

Danger for h's sister who is a (total bitch) movie star throws her together with the hero FBI agent. They were sexy and fun together. The h had some great verbal diarrhea and funny lines without being too silly.

The elephant in the room is Melody who is despicable. She's spoiled and petulant and vicious and does something to put Harmony in danger. She never shows any redeeming qualities. There's just a paragraph at the end where Harmony muses how much she's changed and how sweet she is. Not buying it. So when it comes time for her book I can't imagine anything that could excuse how she behaved and the mean things she did but we'll see.

This might have been one of the most entertaining books I’ve read by Piper Davenport to date. I was fortunate to get an ARC of Jaxon & Harmony’s story, and I was so excited I dived right in and didn’t come up for air until I was finished.

The characters were instantly magnetic. I’ve wanted Jax’s story for a long time, certainly reading Ace, and he was worth the wait.

The dialogue and banter was so engrossing. It just sucked me in. Witty and smart.

Harmony is the middle sister and personal assistant to her super star baby sister, Melody, but it’s not all glitz and glamour. There’s a stalker, and as it starts to take a more menacing turn, Harmony turns to FBI agent, Jaxon.

Instant attraction and a lot of sexy times, this book is worth every second!!

When Jax gets the call for help, he cringes when he hears who it's for. Little does he know he is about to come face to face with the woman who will give him a run for his money. The minute he and Harmony lock eyes, they're both smitten. I loved the internal conversations they each had about the other. When they finally started talking, it was pure gold. No filters, funny as all get out and the chemistry..... off the charts!
I didn't get a chance to read the first two in the series, or the Dogs of Fire before this one, but I didn't lose anything in the story, the characters were referenced, but the only thing that did was make me want to go back and read the other books too! The more I read from this author, the more I want to read!

We have another hit from Piper Davenport!

Jax and Harmony are destined for each other from their first look at each other. Their chemistry is sizzling!

They are thrown together during a stressful situation. Harmony finds herself no longer the calm, cool, collected woman that has everything under control.

Jax comes in and blankets her in safety physically and mentally. He brings out emotions Harmony wasn’t prepared for.

With danger lurking you feel this dark cloud looming through the book. Moments when you feel like Jax and Harmony are on a good path leaves you also waiting for the other shoe to drop.

You will not be disappointed in this book! It’s a wonderful addition to the other books Piper has written. This woman is magic!

The Spotlight is on! Harmony has literally lived in her sister's shadow for years. She’s the caretaker, the babysitter, the scapegoat. Her sisters star signs very bright and now it’s getting them into a huge mess. She has a crazed stalker and isn’t taking it seriously. Finally Harmony is getting a chance to find the stalker with the help of quite the hunky G-Man. Jaxon doesn’t have time to handhold a insane starlet, but when it becomes clear the stalker is the real deal he’s honor bound to help. It also doesn’t hurt that the stars sister is the actual total package. But when it becomes clearer that it’s not Harmony's sister that is the apple of the stalkers eyes, he knows he would do anything to ensure her safety.

I have been waiting for this book for a while and it did not disappoint! Harmony has been taking care of her sister for years and wants to start living her own life. The problem is that there is now a stalker who wants to be apart of her life as well. Jaxon, has never thought of settling down until he has to watch over Harmony and starts to think of forever with her. This book is not only steamy but hilarious as well. It will make you heart flutter and your mouth laugh out loud. There is suspense, mystery and some great twists. I truly loved this book and think that it will be a 5 star hit for everyone who reads it!

Absolutely brilliant! I loved this book, the story line and especially the well written and well defined characters! Jaxon and Harmony's chemistry set the pages on fire not only with passion but their witty banter will keep you entertained, as will the mystery and intrigue as to who the crazed stalker is that is after Harmony's star sister, Morgan..or are they??
The supporting characters are just amazing and it is great to see old friends from The Dogs of Fire MC as the story intertwines a bit with the MC.

An amazing read and one that I am certain you will enjoy. I highly recommend this book.

WHEW!! Jaxon & Harmony are fantastic!! They are aces at the banter, which I love - even during the sexy times, they manage to be fun & HOT at the same time! I loved the interactions, the supporting cast, and seeing lot of "old friends." There is an excellent element of suspense, as well, which played out in a neat way, I thought! And there's a glimpse of what's coming next in the Dogs of Fire world, which makes me super, SUPER happy! : )
