This is the fourth novel in a brand new Western series from Western adventure bestseller Scott Harris! With gun in hand—Caz blasts his way through the bad guys to bring peace and justice to the Old West!
Caz faces his most challenging enemies yet, men willing to kill, not just the men they’re trying to destroy, but their entire families. At first it appears it’s going to work, but Caz rides into town, stops a bank robbery by killing the robbers and the story picks up speed from there.
Caz is the self-appointed judge and jury, operating outside the law, tracking down those law can’t—or won’t—find. And when he does find them, which he always does, there is only one sentence.
Award-winning and best-selling Western author Scott Harris is a lifelong Western enthusiast who traces his love of Western fiction back to his childhood days of reading Louis L’Amour novels.
Harris has published ten novels in the past year, along with two collections of short stories and a variety of other fiction and nonfiction Westerns.
The Brock Clemons Western Series follows the tale of Brock Clemons and his journey into the West accompanied by his horse, “Horse,” and wolf, “Wolf.” The Brock Clemons story — especially when he is joined by his new wife, Sophie and his adopted son, Huck — is one of bravery, adventure and romance, transporting readers back to a time when chivalry, courage and gunfights ruled the day in the West.
Harris’ second series, Caz: Vigilante Hunter, is a different take on the Western genre. With gun in hand, Caz blasts his way through the bad guys to bring peace and justice to the Old West!
Caz is looking for two things: the perfect breakfast and men who think they’re above the law. He hasn’t yet found a breakfast to match what his mom used to make, but there’s a trail of dead men behind him that shows he’s having no trouble finding bad men.
Harris also authors the well regarded 52 Weeks Series, the Western Adventure Series and the 500 Word Micro Short Series. Additionally, he is about to release A Novel Journey, a non-fiction book about writing your own Western novel and recently released Six Gun Pardners, a book a he co-authored with his son, Justin. He is also soon releasing the first novel in his newest series, Stagecoach Willy.
Harris, who loves nothing more (except for his family!) than settling into his hammock with a glass of bourbon, a cigar and a great Western, has created a Western world filled with fascinating and exciting characters and he hopes you enjoy reading about them as much as he does writing about them.
Caz is, most definitely, one of my most favorite gunfighters of all time, and I agree with him, and he stated he believes in justice. He and Game Warden Joe Pickett's sidekick, Romanowski, have the same beliefs. I was in law enforcement for thirty five years and the law did not always provide the proper results but justice does. Great job! Magnificent story!
Definitely another five star masterpiece by Mr. Scott Harris that touches the heartstrings of western readers, and certainly heartwarming episodes throughout the entire story. This is a family-friendly accounting of real old American western folklore adventures, that consistently appeases the most compelling reader's expectations. If you like fast moving stories, filled with ever present gunfights and ongoing gunplay episodes satisfying your ever whim, then jump aboard the Caz express. The storylines successfully pacifys the most demanding reader's undivided attention and the character selection throughout the entire story is definitely outstandingly acceptable! If you haven't already picked up on the fact th a I, without hesitation, recommend this compassionate masterpiece to all of you readers, regardless of your preference of stories. To not read this book is certainly disgraceful to you own personal intelligence. There! I have finally said it! Do not disappoint yourselves!
Another great adventure featuring/starring Caz, just Caz as he introduces himself. Bullies, greed at any chance nothing more or less. The almighty dollar will make men absolutely lose their moral compass. Caz put all the derailed cars back on track with the help of his 44 naval 1851 colts pistols in the right hands will belch nothing but a anguish and death to whomever they are pointed at. Caz took care of those problems and some how every thing worked out for the farmers and ranchers in the surrounding country side. Life goes on and so does Caz..RIDE EASY
I just finished Caz Vigilante Hunger books 1-4 and was very happy to see #5 waiting for me. I am recovering from Surgery and unable to much but sit and read. I enjoyed all 4 books so much that I read 2 1/2 yesterday and 1 1/2 today and hope to finish #5 tonite. The thing I most like about this series is that Scott didn't go into excessive detail and continuely repeat it..for instance explaining every morning they had to go behind the bushes for their morning business and every time slot of coffee was made give the brand name. It gets old after awhile. Now I am going to start on #5 and know it will be as good as the 1st 4. 👍👍👍
A familiar old story—the railroad needs your land and a bunch of very greedy people are behind it all. Mr. Greed (Roble) and many hired guns think they are all going to come out on top but then they run into Caz who is a visitor at the right time. It’s very fortunate for this town that the biscuits and gravy were so good that Caz decided to stay a couple of extra days.
This Book is the 4th book in this series & every bit as good as the last 3 were! There is a lot of action (as there is in all of the books so far in this series) right from the start! Emotions (good & bad) are revealed from all of these folks! This Book is worth your time to read & worth the purchase price as well! Enjoy!
