There’s no telling what he’ll do if I get too close.
CORA

I gave him my body to save my brother’s life.
It was the only way to protect him.
But it’s about to cost me everything.

I did everything that Finn demanded in exchange for my brother’s freedom.

Now, I’m standing in his bedroom.
Chained.
Bare.
Shivering.

Then, the man who owns me now opens the door and do his worst.
His cruel, beautiful lips part and he says four little words that make my blood run cold:
“You’re mine now, princess.”

FINN

The sassy little b!tch thought she could tell me how to run my business.
Hell f**king no.
Oliver is a damn good recruit, and I ain’t about to let her march in and steal him from under my nose.
I don’t give a damn if she IS his big sister.
As far as I’m concerned, she’s just a mouthy brat with a desperate need for a spanking.

But she’s persistent as hell.
And I’m sick of her standing in my doorway.
So I make her a deal, one I never thought she’d accept.

Bend over for me, and I’ll let your brother go.

She’d have to be crazy to say yes.
A man like me doesn’t exactly play nice with his bedmates.
On the contrary – I bend them ‘til they break.
Take them ‘til they scream.
Then I kick them out, naked and afraid. Not my problem anymore.

But to my surprise, she agrees.

And I get ready to do everything I warned her would happen.

RUTHLESS is a full-length, standalone, super steamy, bad boy motorcycle club romance novel from bestselling author ZOEY PARKER.

This suspenseful, action-packed MC romance is intended for mature audiences, due to violence, strong language, dark themes and elements, and explicit intimate scenes. The romance between the alpha male bad boy and the fiery woman he can't resist ends with a guaranteed happily ever after (HEA) ending, has absolutely NO CHEATING, and does NOT include a cliffhanger of any kind.

This contains the following tropes: blackmail, enemies to lovers, good girl meets bad boy, and rags to riches.

WARNING: THE DESCRIPTION OF THIS BOOK IS A LIE. This is 100% a different book from the description. So do not waste your time on this crap.

WARNING #2: Also just learned that this author routinely plagiarizes other writers in this genre. Apparently she changes just enough to get away with it. Pathetic.

I'm confused. Aside from the names of the characters, this book is completely different from the description. Like, there is literally nothing from the blurb going on in the book. So disappointed. This was absolutely terrible, from the writing, the plot, the chatacters, just ugh.

And this is the description that shows up consistently for this book, so it's not a random mistake. I feel cheated, to be honest.

Ruthless

This was a decent story but I hated how it ended. There needed to be more of a wrap up. It was a let down to a decent love story. And do not be fooled. The description of it is completely inaccurate. She literally is never chained up anywhere and he is not as ruthless as it says he is. He is the softy in love and she is the jerk who continually pushes him away and then cries that she did. And the whole situation with the brother is not as dramatic as you would think. He’s a punk kid into drugs and a little trouble. No one ever asks for the sister in exchange for letting him out.

Good but false

This was a good book but nothing in the description happened. There was no saving her brother, no being tied up, none of it. Even though I did enjoy the story I couldn't understand why they wrote the description they did, if that wasn't what the story was about. To me that was false advertising.

Disappointed

I only wanted to read this book because of the books description. Was very disappointed that the book did not even match what the book was supposed to be about. Will not be reading anymore from this author.😠😠😠😠😠

Doesn’t match description

The description literally does not match the plot of the book at all I finished it to see if it would eventually meet the description but it never did

Not the story it reads in the description

Sad to say that this story was not as dark as the description states. It was a sweet little love story but no bite..no drama.. Disappointed to say the least. Literally had to force myself to finish.

This is an intriguing MC romance & I enjoyed reading it. The plot has a well-paced story-line filled with some unexpected incidents. The individual characters are quite complex as they continue to develop throughout the story-line & display varying emotional feelings with regards to the situation they find themselves in.
There is: MC riders, a woman (Cora) prepared to do anything to help her very difficult brother (Oliver), her manipulative parents, a controlling MC Lieutenant (Finn), twists & turns, intrigue, drama, secrets, drugs, threats, physical conflict, some violence, old friends, family issues, sibling disagreements, emotional feelings, confusion, verbal conflict, relationship issues, doubts, dismay, attempted blackmail, confrontations, injuries, determination, contentment, acceptance, happiness, love, steamy scenes & a satisfying ending.

A very different format to the MC story usually written by Zoey Parker. That being said, I loved this story and found it every bit as good as her other books. Cora is forced to come back to the small town she fled from so many years ago when she finds out her younger brother is in trouble. One of the surprising things she discovers is that he is "friends" with a man Finn who happens to be many years older than her brother, Oliver. The bad news is that she "knows" Finn's type and that type is one of the reasons she fled Carson, Nevada. Unfortunately, it seem Cora still has a "type" and finds that she is powerless to resist Finn's constant attention. The two work together to try and keep Oliver out of trouble while Cora tries to resist her feelings and Finn tries to get her to accept those feelings.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.

I am completely fan-girling Mrs. Zoey Parker right now.  The instant attraction and heat between Finn and Cora will steal your breath.  As you begin this book, you are 100% engrossed in the terrifically crafted storyline and just know these characters are going to heat things up in the best way possible.  Just how far does Family loyalty go? Find out right here in this superbly designed and incredibly riveting MC book. If you like your romance with a side of drama and steam... Then trust me, you do not want to pass up on this release.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Ruthless in exchange for my honest/voluntarily given opinion and I feel honored to be selected.   Mrs. Parker is a talent like none other and a pleasure to read everytime.  I can not wait to see what is next from her.

Book description is NOT what the book is really about.

I never leave reviews, ever! But I really had to say something about this. While the book ends up being a pretty good read, it is not anything like what the description says it is. I only kept reading because I thought maybe that part of the storyline came in later. It does not. He is a total nice guy. He does not control her brother in any way, nor does she have to make any deals with him. He is not controlling or dominating in any way. While lots of books build up their content a little in the descriptions, this book was an outright lie. It is a very bad way to get readers, and I while other books by this author sounded interesting, I will not read them because I will not know if it is all a lie. Deceiving your readers..... shame on you!!!

Finn and Cora's sexy romance is not your typical MC story. The story revolves more around Finn, Cora, and her brother Oliver. Coming home to her small town to deal with her brother is more than she bargained for. Cora got out of town and doesn't want to revisit her old life at all. Finn steps in as the MC enforcer, to help keep Oliver out of trouble. There is more going on in town than anyone has guessed and Oliver is in the middle of it. Cora has a different life now and needs to get back to it, but the chemistry heats up between her and Finn. and it is one not to be denied. The twists in this story keeps the pages turning and is one not to be missed. I received a copy of "Ruthless", with my opinion being based on my reading of it. Great reading 4.25 Stars!

Loved this story and Cora is awesome! Cora has left the town and her family as soon as she turned 18 never looking back till her mother called because her little brother Oliver had been arrested. Cora is above all of this now she runs a million dollar business and her relationship with her mother is strained to say the least. When Finn gets to the jail he is struck by the beauty in a business suit but when he finds out she’s Oliver’s sister he vows to help her get the kid straight. Finn and Cora get close trying to straighten the kid out but Cora can’t afford to get tangled with a biker like Finn again.

The information that introduces this book doesn't seem to fit the actual story. However, ignoring that, the book was different and enjoyable. Troubled teen getting into trouble, older successful strong independent sister attempting to help him with the inially unwelcome assistance of a member of the local MC. However not long before sparks fly.
I enjoyed the storyline of the book, which kept me engaged with some action. Sometimes the character of Cora annoyed me a bit by how stubborn she was. Finn was a great character.
I did feel the book ended a bit abruptly.

Oh Finn, you don’t know what you have let yourself in for. By helping young kid Oliver from going to jail, you now have to deal with his feisty independent sister Cora. Oh wow, now watch the sparks fly. Two people who know their own minds, Cora is well a match for Finn. Their chemistry is off the charts.
A fast paced story of family drama, teenage gangs, MC biker gang issues, drugs, passion and so much more.
Not sure the introduction relates to the story but good plot anyhow.

Cora was almost not with the time but Finn rocked!

This self accomplished female was irritating me. Although I could see her point of view I didn’t like the way she treated Finn. As if she were better than him because she was a business owner and he was the lieutenant in a MC. There is only so much rejection a mans pride can take. He was so in love with Cora that he took all of it just for her. Go Finn, he really stood up for her!

Fabulous MC Romance! The storyline is well-written, fast-paced, dark, has blackmail, chemistry, vivid scenes, realistically developed characters who you will love, sometimes love to hate but you will not be bored with these two. This engaging, entertaining, dark romance is a standalone and I loved it. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

This story is filled with twists, drama, blackmail, secrets, intrigue and has steamy chemistry. I recommend this talented authors’ work for all readers.

Zoey has done it again another 5* read I couldn't put it down. When Cora gets a call from her mother who she hasn't seen for years she decided to go and see if she could help her brother. She never expected to fall for a biker, she never expected him to be so well read and never thought he would have such an extensive book collection. Take my advice and read it

Cora is determined to save her brother but she is the one who might need some saving when she makes a bargain with Finn.

The author has created a good storyline with characters that capture your interest. I liked how strong Cora is and how she worked her way to success. Finn thinks he knows best but she turns his life upside down.

Not a bad read. BUT

I was ROBBED!!!!! If you are reading this book because of the cover description you are going to be sorely disappointed as I was. Never once was I on the edge of my seat because he had her chained. She wore the pants through out this book but in a good way. The best I can say about this book is slow, slow, slow...

Definitely has a lot of sparks flying with Finn and Cora!💙 There is so much going on throughout the entire book with plenty of twists and turns. The heat between Finn and Cora is very combustible! The love they both feel for her brother is remarkable. Amazing book.

Ok read

The total reverse from the book description. It is the woman who is the dom ,and a sub mc enforcer who chases her tail til she concedes to the relationship.despite the many times she's used him for sex and help with her brother

Pretty good

This was a pretty good story. Fairly well written. My only real complaint is the blurb was absolutely misleading. Well that and Cora did nothing to deserve Finn. She’s pretty annoying. But still... it’s well written.
