“I won’t go out with you because you’re a walking STD.” She smirked.
“Rough night last night?” “Actually,” I grinned, “Alania was a bit rough.” “I can tell by the hickey on your neck. How old was she? Seventeen?” Her brow arched.
“She does not, Lexi. Maybe she doesn’t know what to do with me. After all, she’s from a small town with probably no experience at all. Maybe that’s why her boyfriend cheated on her.”
He was a playboy who flirted with anyone of the female gender. I could never trust him, even if we did get into a relationship.
“I don’t want to be a father, Kinsley. Not now, not ever. Fuck! How did this happen? You took the morning after pill.”
“Yes. This baby didn’t ask to be created and I sure as hell am not turning my back on him or her.” “I hope you understand that I can’t be a part of this.”
I couldn’t call my friends because they were never to know that I was the father of Kinsley’s baby, and I certainly couldn’t tell my dad. I was on my own with this one. As long as Kinsley stood by her word, my life wouldn’t change and no one would ever know.
“Because you’re selfish and the only person you can love is yourself.”
But just because I forgave him, didn’t mean I had to be his friend. That was something we’d never be again.
