He has a new set of worries… Sed Lionheart just married the love of his life, is about to head overseas on a sold-old concert tour and has a new album at the top of the sales charts, so why is he having recurrent nightmares? Maybe if he loses himself in the arms of his new wife for the short week of their honeymoon, he can forget his cares, and dwell on a bright future, not a dark one. She has a new set of doubts… Jessica Chase just married the man who drives her wild both inside the bedroom and out of it, so why won’t Sed open up to her about his nightmares? She’d love to help him find peace and happiness. Maybe if she treats him to some extra bendy adventures in the bedroom he’ll learn to relax. Or maybe a few days away from the spotlight, will allow him to trust her with whatever’s haunting him. Unfortunately, this honeymoon of theirs is turning out to be far from tranquil, and the spotlight follows him wherever he goes. Together they can conquer anything… When the happy couple gets stranded with nothing to eat but Jessica’s atrocious cooking, can they work as a team to find their way back to paradise, or will the independent and stubborn newlyweds remain lost? Lost in Paradise is an epilogue to the Sinners on Tour book, Rock Hard, and the novella, Patience, which is part of Sinners at the Altar.
Combining her love for romantic fiction and rock ‘n roll, Olivia Cunning writes erotic romance centered around rock musicians. Raised on hard rock music from the cradle, she attended her first Styx concert at age six and fell instantly in love with live music. She's been known to travel over a thousand miles just to see a favorite band in concert. As a teen, she discovered her second love, romantic fiction -- first, voraciously reading steamy romance novels and then penning her own. Growing up as the daughter of a career soldier, she's lived all over the country and overseas. She recently moved to Galveston, Texas.
This book was about one of my favorite Sinners couples. Sed Lionheart the lead singer of Sinners is on his honeymoon. Jessica and Sed get married and after a disastrous dinner in a hot air balloon and getting to a hotel that her mother booked only they don't have a room she got them a nice house on the beach that she didn't pay for. I didn't like her mother in their wedding book and I didn't like her in this one. This couple is hot and they had a lot of hot sex. I also found this book funny Jess can't cook and when she made lettuce wraps it was funny how they turned out. Sed is still mourning the loss of his father so they go sailing and end up lost at sea. This was a good short quick read that I liked. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading about Trey, Reagan and Ethan.
We join Sed and Jess on their honeymoon as they indulge in each others bodies and reconnect. Apart from all the steaminess between this highly sexually charged couple there is a bit of adventure to keep things interesting. When life throws lemons at these two they simply make lemonade. It's so lovely that they have found their happy ever after. Looking forward to more honeymoon stories from the rest of the band.
This fell completely flat for me. I don’t know if it’s because it’s been so long since I’ve read the original Sinners series. Or because Sed & Jessica were my least favorite couple to begin with. Or because this book feels like 70% sex scenes, 20% tepid conversation, & 10% actual plot.
Sed has supposedly been sailing all his life but is completely unfamiliar with all the emergency equipment. I guess it was supposed to be funny but it came off as ridiculous.
Honeymooning rock star Sed Lionheart and his new wife Jessica Chase are going sailing on the boat Sed used to sail with his late father (who was an expert sailor). When they're hit by lightning during a storm, they're stuck on the boat with no navigation, minimal power, and little to eat, but the "nutritious" food Jessica has made (or attempted to make).
This is a cute novella. There's not much plot, but the MCs have a lot of chemistry and some very inventive sex. Personally, I would have liked them to have been in a little more danger to test their relationship more, but maybe that's just me.
I KNOW I read Sed and Jessica's book but gosh I guess I don't remember that much of it?
The exhibition stuff annoyed me a lot BECAUSE - look you idiots, you ALREADY had a viral video scandal which you EVEN SAY you're still upset about - yet you're still INTENTIONALLY randomly having sex IN FRONT OF PEOPLE IN PUBLIC- SPECIFICALLY moving in order for people to see you? *shakes head*
AND THEN there is her "cooking" - it's not cute. Call me a bitch but I don't find incompetence cute.
The description of her cabbage rolls LITERALLY almost had me horfing - I felt physically ill. In the year of our lord TWO THOUSAND TWENTY there is something called the internet. Beyond recipes there are VIDEOS. She's also supposedly a lawyer - and I KNOW there are dumb as fuck dumber than rocks lawyers. I do. (Fucking jackasses) - but there's a SLIGHT baseline for at least getting into, going to, graduating from LS, and passing the bar ... her "la di dah" attitude about cooking ESPECIALLY when she KNOWS she's a terrible cook ... Come the fuck on.
It was just too much. And his whole nightmares and not talking and I was so annoyed and not into it and literally about to throw up and why would I subject myself to more? I'd already pushed through nearly half of it, hoping X would get resolved and we'd see some nice relationship - which they DO have but omg the TSTL
Nice conclusion to Sed and Jessica's love story, with plenty of action and a surprising amount of emotion. I was thoroughly entertained by the pair, yet saddened by the thought that this might be the end of their story, forgetting that they are part of a band (Sinners), their buddies Exodus End still have players in the game AND, most importantly, Jess has a baby on the way! Many crazy antics and happenings in Lost in Paradise making it an ideal book to get LOST in for a few hours; I strongly recommend doing exactly that as soon as possible.
When it comes to Jessica, Sed is just a giant teddy bear at heart who would do anything for her. They are honeymooning at a beach rental when they decide to go on a day time sailing trip on his dad's boat. Since nothing went right at their wedding, they figured nothing could possibly go wrong on their honeymoon. Well, even though nothing did go right, they still ended up enjoying themselves. There were several steamy scenes between them that certainly made me wish their story had been longer
It's been a few years since I last read the Sinners on Tour series. So it was nice to catch up with Jess and Sed. As they spend their honeymoon doing what they do best having hot sex and squabbling, and there's certainly a lot of the first in this short story. But I wouldn't expect anything less from these two. Yet there was more to this story and it just reminded me what a great series this is. And it's definitely worth reading if you're a fan of the series.
I love the Sinners books so much so I was thrilled when this novella appeared in my Kindle. So great to continue Sed and Jessica's story but I found myself getting bored towards the end - ready for their honeymoon adventures to be over. I even found myself skimming a few of the sex scenes to move the story about a honey moon but there can actually be too many sex scenes that just make it overkill. Excited for Trey's honeymoon novella next.
I loved a more insight to Sed and Jessica’s life before marriage and after. It was getting to know their characters and to read about their fears and future as well. I totally loved this series. ❤️
*SBTB Quarterly Challenge- January 4. National Spouses Day: Read a book with a couple who are or were married.* Yay new Sinners on Tour novella! And it didn't take me three months to find out it was released - thank you author newsletter! Sed and Jessica are probably my least favourite couple of the series, but I like them both better after this book. They each got over themselves a little bit and learned to work better together as a couple. One of the things I really like about this series is that even though it deals with something as fantastical as being a rock star, the issues are realistic and relatable. Here we have dealing with the grief of losing a parent; living with a narcissistic parent; re-evaluating life dreams with a change in circumstance; allowing someone to help take care of you.
I Loved this novella. You get to see more of the romantic side of Jessica and Sed as well and lots of humour and heart warming moments. I like them both more after reading this.
Another great Sinners novella from Olivia Cunning! Sed and Jessica's honeymoon is filled with lots of hot, sexy times, sweet, romantic times and some danger as they navigate the high seas on their sailboat jaunt. Lots of fun and great to catch up with two of our favorite characters!
