Every moment, every lifetime, every decision—including her choice to erase—has led Maryah to this.

Two outcomes are possible: an infinite happy-ever-after with her kindrily or the final severing of her relationship with Nathan.

Closer to the enemy than ever before, Maryah unravels the diabolical plan that Dedrick has been manipulating into place for centuries. Revelations, secrets, and lies surface faster than Maryah can process. She doesn’t know who to trust, what to believe, or how to save her loved ones from the desolate future Dedrick is so close to executing.

Guided by an enigmatic raven-haired prisoner, Maryah fights body and soul to save Nathan, her kindrily, and countless others. But is her love strong enough to alter a prophecy written in the stars?

*My Thoughts*

The Kindrily series basic premise has been, what really happened to Maryah aka Mary, and why did she erase her memories and her past with Nathaniel after the brutal slaying of members of her Kindrily by the dastardly villain Dedrick?

For 3 books, Hooper avoided revealing the reason(s) for Mary's erasure and becoming Maryah. When all is said and done, the revelation and reasons actually make perfect sense to me, and in a way, was brilliantly done. No spoilers!

Fighting for Infinity picks up with Maryah's soul wandering into Dedrick's trap, and coming face to face with a character who will help her to understand how important she really is. We've known that Dedrick has had an obsession with Maryah, but Hooper saved the best for last in letting readers in on the brilliant scheme he had, and the twisted reasons for wanting Maryah by his side.

Can I tell you Ms Hooper, how much I absolutely adore, love, and want to cuddle with Rina because she is brave, heroic, and the kind of daughter I would have been proud to call mine when I was younger? Rina makes this story folks. Make no mistake about it. Without Rina, this story just becomes another paranormal romance story between Maryah and Nathan, with the rest of the Kindrily along for the ride, trying to fight off the megalomaniac who wants to become a GOD.

Fighting for Infinity is told in alternating POV's between Maryah and Nathan, but there is also Harmony's POV in the very beginning. The series ends where it should. Maryah's kindrily against Dedrick's Nefariouns in a battle for the right to choose to be reincarnated, or erased and begin all over again.

Ms Hooper asks readers to chime in on who they would love to see in future novels. I would say that I would want Dakota and Rina to come back. Dakota has always been on the outside of the Kindrily looking in because he's not like any of them. But, in this installment, his participation is almost required in order to figure out how to defeat Dedrick. So, yes, I would love a novella, or whatever, featuring these two characters.

Boricuan Bookworms- Book Reviews

People they come together
People they fall apart
No one can stop us now
'Cause we are all made of stars.

Have you ever been to Disney World? The first time I went there I was 5 years old. I was so excited so see all the sights and ride all the rides and I just wanted to take it all in at once. The waiting line for every average ride was about 2 hours, and yet I made those lines happily because when I finally was able to ride Splash Mountain, it was the best moment of my 5-year-old self’s life. Immediately after finishing the 3-minute ride, I wanted to do it all over again. That’s how I felt with this book. Fighting for Infinity was an amazing thrill ride that seemed to last so very short, but one that I’d happily ride all over again.

In this installment, all our questions are finally getting answers, and we’re just about to discover if our favorite characters are truly destined to have their happily ever after.

With this series, Karen Amanda Hooper has become a great friend of mine, and a person I really look up to. This series has made me believe in the cosmic power of love, and that the universe has a bigger plan for us than what we imagine.

I honestly cannot tell you much about this book without spoiling, except that it was amazing. It took me a while to get through it at first because I was so desperate to get to the “good parts”. However the story takes off fairly quickly and soon enough I couldn’t let go of the pages until I was done.

You should really check my Goodreads status updates if you want to see how badly my emotions were all over the place.

This story has a main villain called Dedrick. Dedrick is seriously evil. There’s no denying it. However, I think the real villain here is Karen. Karen seriously toyed with my emotions and pulled at my heartstrings like no one else could. She was so evil!

<3 You, Karen![

Nathan once again made me swoon like no other, and I loved seeing the Kindrily family once again being their awesome Kindrily self. (Take that, Cullen family!)

There were also so many surprising plot twists throughout the whole book, and the last 100 pages were so seriously action-packed my heart was pounding even after I had finished the story.

I’ve got to say that in this book the character development was really nice to see. I feel like I’ve been with Maryah through everything, and as if she were one of my best friends finally facing her fears and sticking up for what she wants.

This book makes me feel so conflicted because whenever someone asks me for a book recommendation, I feel like yelling “GRASPING AT ETERNITY” from the top of my lungs. Then I try to downplay it because whenever you read a series that is one of your all-time favorites, you feel like it should only belong to you. This series has sneaked its way into my heart, and even if I feel wildly possessive over it (and would love to keep it in a glass case where no one can hurt it), I would feel really sad for all those who miss out on these wonderful books.

This conclusion to the Kindrily series is heartbreaking, action packed, and answers all the questions you had once asked yourself. You will not be prepared for what happens!

This was a long journey, but a very satisfying one. This was the final installment in The Kindrily series by Karen Amanda Hooper, and it was fantastic. I love these characters, and that ending was so sweet.

Actual rating: 4.5 stars!

There is always a healthy dose of fear involving the final book in a beloved series. Will you be disappointed? Will the author totally screw up the characters and how much they mean to you? There is always a little wariness when I start a final book. I've been burned before, and I hate it when that happens. It's why I put off finishing series.

Fighting for Infinity did not give me reason to doubt final books! I loved the journey that these characters go through, and I loved where the author took the story.

There were two MCs in this story, and they were Nathan and Maryah. I was kind of hoping for a third, but it wasn't needed. I've loved Nathan's and Maryah's journey from the beginning. They've been through a lot, and they both are still trying to find their footing around each other. I loved how their relationship developed, how they dealt with the heartbreak and anguish together, how much stronger they are because of it all. These two are soulmates, and it's definitely apparent. They're both very passionate souls who just want to love and protect their own. And with the revelations in this story, they needed each other more than ever. I loved how it never tore apart their relationship, and I loved how much stronger their love is because of it.

But I was a little disappointed with the secondary characterizations. There are 16 Kindrily members, aside from Nathan and Maryah. They are important to the story-line and to the relationship between the MCs. And the only reason this is getting 4.5 stars from me is because I felt that they were underdeveloped. They were too overshadowed in this book. Aside from their abilities, them helping Nathan and Maryah, and trying to defeat Dedrick, they aren't very focused on. And that's okay, because this series was more about Nathan and Maryah. But I was missing those interactions between all of the characters, and I just wanted more of them.

The plot was very slow-paced, but I was never bored. I enjoyed where the author took the story-line, and I was constantly aware of what was happening because I was always trying to guess the mysteries. In the first two books, there are many secrets and parts of their pasts that we know nothing about. Luckily, the author answered all of my questions and brought her characters to where they needed to go. There were also secrets that hinted at other story-lines that I'm hoping the author will explore in other books. And I wouldn't say no to more of the Kindrily members. :)

Fighting for Infinity was a fantastic final installment in the beloved Kindrily series. I remember that I really didn't like Maryah in the first couple books, but by the end of this, she was one of my favorite characters. Still sometimes naive, but her character development was beautiful. I loved her and Nathan's passionate love story, and I loved the other members of the Kindrily. I'm going to miss these characters.

I don't post my reviews on GoodReads anymore, but I made an exception for this book.

Every now and then a series comes along that brings the reader on such a wonderful and unexpected journey that they feel as though they have stumbled upon something perfect. The Kindrily trilogy is one of those series. With each book there is so much more depth and feeling to the story and characters that you truly feel the love and work the author has put into these books. Fighting For Infinity is an amazing ending to a fantastic and wonderfully written trilogy. This series is a must read.

For the last year I have been anxiously awaiting the release of Fighting For Infinity. The Kindrily trilogy quickly became one of my favorite series and though I didn’t want it to end I was also dying to see just how things would play out and bring their story full circle.

One of the things I love about this series is how well one book transitions into the next. Often times in series there are gaps in between books and the reader must then read well into the next book to piece together what happens in the days, week or months that occur between one book ending and the next beginning. With The Kindrily trilogy there is a fantastic flow from one book to the next, it doesn’t feel like you are starting a new book but that you are starting the next chapter of the story. This truly helps the story flow from one book to the next seamlessly and makes the series stand out from others.

Now let’s talk about the two big additions to this book. The first being Rina, her connection to the Kindrily and how she affects the outcome of several events, and the second is Dedrick. Now let’s start with Dedrick. While Dedrick is not a new character this is the first book where we truly get to see him. Though his influence on the story has been large from the beginning up until now his role has been quite small. I’ve wanted to see more of Dedrick since his first mention in the series but I had to wait, and that was not necessarily a bad thing. Holding off on revealing so much about this villain was a brilliant tactic. I feel that withholding his presence until now was perfect, I as a reader was waiting for his big reveal and Fighting For Infinity gave me that. I almost hate to say it, but I think Dedrick became my favorite character after reading this book. I love how you never know what is fact or fiction when he is involved, I enjoy how he manipulates everyone around him yet acts like it’s a completely normal thing to do. I’ve always had a love of villains and that is part of the reason why I love his character so much, really the only down side to routing for the villains is that they almost always lose in the end.

Rina was the main addition to the book. Yes, there were a number of new characters added however it was Rina whose role was possibly the biggest. Now, when I read the additional cliffhanger ending added to the review copy of Taking Back Forever I instantly wanted to get my hands on the next book. Ever since then I have been trying to guess just what would happen to the various Kindrily members. But the biggest thing I tried to figure out was who this new mystery character was. I had a few ideas in mind but nothing solid until I started reading this book. I quickly made a wild guess about Rina, essentially saying “I bet I know who Rina is, she’s….” I won’t actually come out and say who I though she was because as it turns out I was right and I don’t want to spoil that surprise for anyone but boy let me tell you I was thrilled to find out that my wild guess was in fact correct. I definitely remember yelling “I knew it!” when I got to that part of the book and getting a strange look from my husband. However, it wasn’t just her identity that made her stand out. In fact it was her character as a whole and the major influence she had on what Maryah had to do as well as the rest of the Kindrily in order to see things through. Her character was so strong, not just mentally but physically as well, and she certainly helped Maryah’s character grow even more. As much as I would love to keep talking about Rina and her role in this book I must stop myself here, as I don’t want to spoil anything.

The flow of this book is fantastic. As I mentioned earlier, all the books flow seamlessly from one to the other, but the stories in those books also have such a great progression of events. We get to see characters grow in many ways, but more so in this book we get to learn so much. There is such a vast amount of knowledge and secrets given out in this book that it truly made everything feel perfectly connected. Questions were answers, threads were woven together to show the picture we had been waiting to see, there were plenty of plot twists along the way but most importantly things were ended so well. I’m normally not a fan of the final book in series, they often feel rushed and poorly put together, however in this case everything was so well put together and planned out by the author that I found the ending to be perfect. I wasn’t left with more questions than answers, I was left was such a great feeling when I got to the end of the book that I didn’t mind that it meant the series was over. Of course I will admit that I do want more from this series, whether it is a spin-off series or companions novels, I want to see more of The Kindrily. However at the same time I am so happy with the way things ended that I can live without those additional stories.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention this part. But there was one small section of the book, perhaps a page or two long where I got really excited about something. What was that something? Well it was a small tie in to Karen Hooper’s other series, The Sea Monster Memoirs. Seeing a certain character, even if it was only for a very short time, absolutely made my day and has me excited for the next book in that trilogy.

Part of me feels that my review doesn’t do this book justice. It was so good I had a hard time putting into words how much I enjoyed it. I want everyone to know how much I love this book and series yet I struggle to do so. Great books have that affect on me. Plus I really don’t want to accidentally say something that would ruin one of the many twists in this book. So I will leave things here.

Overall, I absolutely loved this book. For those who haven’t read this series yet I would highly recommend it. For those who have started the series but haven’t made it to this book yet I urge you to hurry up and read it. This is a series that will stick with me for a long time and I definitely can see myself reading this again.

I enjoyed reading this but:

• What about April? Really? She was only a tool for the writer to tell Maryah River scaped?

• At the end, when Maryah becomes Mary again, I felt like it was a stranger talking in Maryah's body. And everybody was happy, but I was like. Wait. Let me know you! Maryah and Mary's personalities were very different.

I hated how it ended with a stranger.

Ps. When Nathan "died" I didn't care.
Ps2. I really didn't care, but I cried like a baby when it was Rina dying.
Ps3. I already knew the end and that Rina was Dakota's soulmate from the middle of the book. No big surprise here.

-

Portuguese

Gostei de ler isso, mas:

• E a April?

Ps. Quando Nathan "morreu" eu não me importei.
Ps2. Eu realmente não me importei, mas chorei como um bebê quando Rina estava morrendo.
Ps3. Eu já sabia o fim e que Rina era a alma gêmea de Dakota no meio do livro. Nenhuma grande surpresa aqui.

Honestly? I did not anticipate that the finale in Karen Amanda Hooper’s Kindrily series would be this good. I mean, I knew the book was going to be good, but FIGHTING FOR INFINITY provided more intensity, more unpredictability and a greater onslaught of emotions than I could have ever predicted.

Few paranormal books deliver for me these days, and as a result I’ve been choosing more realistic stories over the more “magical”, other-wordly tomes that are on the shelves. Even still, I approached the release of FIGHTING FOR INFINITY with high, high hopes. Hopes that my favorite characters would come out on the other side in one piece, hopes that all my questions would be answered and hopes that everything I loved about the first two books would be found here for one final hurrah. Karen not only fulfills these hopes, she also goes above and beyond when it comes to pulling her world, her plot and her characters full circle. All my questions have been answered. Every last one.

Whenever you reach the final book of a beloved series there's always a bit of trepidation. Will all of my questions be answered? Will I like the way things end?
When you're in the middle of the series you always feel safe that even if you didn't like the way one of the books left off, at least there's a promise of more to come.

I approached Fighting for Infinity with caution. I shouldn't have. I should've trusted Karen Amanda Hooper to do her story and her characters justice, because - wow - this book was amazing.

I don't want to reveal too many details and potentially ruin this for anyone, but let's just say I did get all of my burning questions answered and got an ending befitting the entire series. I'm actually going to go and re-read the book just to soak it in again.

If you're a fan of the series, buy the book and clear your schedule. If you're like me you'll be up half the night because there's just not an easy point to put the book down.
But if you haven't read the rest of the series, I recommend going back to the beginning and starting with Grasping at Eternity because you want to experience the entire journey.

Karen Amanda Hooper is a must-read author for me, and I'll definitely be on the lookout for more books from her!

I was so excited to finally get this book to read and I knew I was going to love it. Of course I did love it and thoroughly enjoyed all the interesting twists and turns in the story. I love it when all the questions are answered in such a satisfying way. Maryah and Nathan spent a lot of time apart in this book which was hard, but so many things had to happen before they could have their happy ever after. I loved the surprise ending and I love it when the bad guy gets what is coming to him. This was so fun to read and now I need to read the whole series over again.

This is the fifth time I review one of Karen's books, and I'm always baffled by what to write. I even read my past reviews to see how to make this but I've no idea. This book, all of her books, are just something beyond words.

This book, gosh this book really leaves something in you, a bittersweet mixture between pounding at a wall with fury, cry like a baby in your pillow, or jump and scream of happiness.

I wrote that on my review of Grasping at Eternity. This book, Fighting for Infinity, takes every little question or doubt you had in the two previous books and answers them. This book was one heck of a ride I am sad to have ended, but will gladly take again and again and again. The Kindrily has become such a big part of my life as a reader and blogger. It was one of the first books I read of Indie Authors, I became great friends with the author, and meet so many more people through it.

Anything I say of this book is a spoiler. This book screams spoilers. It starts right on after Taking Back Forever with that horrible, horrible cliffhanger Karen left us with. Maryah has to find a way to end with Dedrick's evil plans by remembering what was once erased by her in her previous life. And *BEEP* and *BEEP* and *BEEEEEEP* .

I had to stop several times because I couldn't bring myself to keep reading. I wanted to know what would happen next but at the same time felt conflicted if I wanted to know.

There's plenty of romantic moments and swoony ones, but this book centers more in the themes of sacrifice and to fight for what you believe. It takes the family concept deeper than before when the whole Kindrily unites as one to fight for, literally, infinity.  As my co-blogger Marianne mentioned in her review, Karen makes us believe in the true power of love with this book. It takes soul mates and the whole Universe concept in a new way I've never seen in other books.

Also, I don't know if anyone here knows, but I detest when people say that Indie Authors don't write good fiction compared to published ones. Both go through the same writing process, and the rest is different. And you know what? Books like the ones Karen writes are the ones you use in arguments in whether Indies are good or not. It frustrates me so much how there can be so many people in the world that don't know of her amazing works! It makes me want to devise a plan where I contact a big publisher or producer so that they make a big campaign for more people globally can read Karen's books. But then I have this jealousy hit me where I want to have the books all for myself...

And speaking of movies and cool stuff... I had a fangirl moment here when the other series Karen has collides with the Kindrily. I cried as if someone had died when I barely read a SINGLE NAME.

It was unexpected and took me by surprise, but it was warmly welcomed. It made complete sense to what was happening in the Kindrily and also arose new questions about the Sea Monster Memoirs world. Anyone who has read that series will greatly appreciate what Karen did here.

Like her previous books, all the characters have great dynamics between each other and support the plot greatly. I specially love how each of them has a personality that resonates through the pages and makes you feel like you're reading something real and that's happening in the real world. It probably does in a parallel universe I have the misfortune of not living in with the Kindrily. Lucky for Maryah though, because I'd steal her Nathan :}

The settings of the story were greatly described and easy to imagine. It gave it a mysterious and malevolent feel to it.

As always, everything here works in accord to even the tinniest detail. Karen is among one of my top favorite authors and a person I look up to very much. A year knowing her and I still can't help fangirl whenever we talk. She's such a nice person, kind-hearted, gifted with great power over words, friendly, generous, any positive word you find is her. She's probably become bored of the times I've said this.

In overall, read this book. Read the series. Friend Karen. Fall in love with her very imaginative worlds full of love, action, tragedy, but mostly that very, very anticipated happily ever after we all ached for from page one.

Rating: All the stars in the whole universe.

The journey is over…and what a journey it was! This is one of those series that asks as many questions as it answers in each book and, luckily for me, this final installment answered those outstanding questions in the most satisfying way. This was truly a fitting end for a wonderful story!

Although, looking back now, I realize that the story had a fairly slow progression, it never felt like it was slow while I was reading it. The interwoven story lines and the dual POVs always kept me engaged and interested in what would happen next. The epic good vs. evil theme pushes the reader to keep turning those pages. And, of course, I loved the characters from the very beginning of the series! In this book, not only do we get our favorite characters back but we also get to meet a very important new one, Rina. I totally fell in love with her strength and her big heart. Her introduction to this story was perfect and I’m hoping that she’ll be the focus of some new stories to come (with Dakota, of course!). As always, I loved Maryah and Nathan. Even in difficult times, their love guides them and pulls them through. Maryah definitely grew in this story, getting stronger and willing to do just about anything to save her family and the future. Nathan, as always, made me swoon even while he frustrated me with holding back information both Maryah and I needed! I forgave him though! lol

This series has many secondary characters, may more than others I’ve read. These books feel like a big family reunion and that means there are may to keep track of and it could become overwhelming. But, once again, Ms. Hooper brought these characters in to play roles that both made sense and enhanced the story line but she did not let them overwhelm what was going on and I truly appreciated that. It would have been easy to accidentally let them take over but that didn’t happen. I would be remiss if I did not mention Dedrick…crazy, delusional Dedrick…perfectly developed and just as nasty as ever. Digging deeper into his past and hearing more from him was the perfect way for me to understand where he was coming from and why he was doing the things he was doing. It helped me make my decisions about him and his evil side and it made the final battle that much better.

I know I haven’t told you much about the actual story in this review. And the reason for that is that this book could be very easily be spoiled if I’m not careful. A lot happens here…stuff you need to experience on your own. So, trust me when I say this is a series that has a wonderful plot, great writing and fantastic characters. If you like some mystery, some twists and turns, good vs. evil…and, of course, you believe in love…this just might be the series for you!

Thanks to Netgalley and All Night Reads for giving me this book to review.

Maryah’s soul is stuck at the mercy of the evil Dedrick, in a windowless room with fellow prisoner, Rina. At the same time Nathan is beside himself with worry for Maryah who has not woken up and Dedrick’s soul has visited the Kindrily house. With secret, lies and revelations surfacing Maryah struggles to know who to trust and how to get free. Guided by the enigmatic Rina, she finds out more about herself and that Dedrick has a diabolical plan and must fight both body and soul to save those she loves.

Fighting for Infinity is a really good finish to the Kindrily trilogy, as it is action packed, romantic and I could not put it down because I had to know what happened next. While for most of the book I did not know what was happening next and made me doubt what I knew about some of the characters, I guessed about the big surprise from near the beginning and I was hoping for a more unexpected twist.

Maryah is stronger in this book and while she is helpless at times, she never gave up and is willing to fight for those she loves. However, part of me was wishing that Maryah would not get her memories back, as Mary come across to me as a control freak and a know it all. I really like Nathan as he was worried and very protective of Maryah but was not possessive and knew that sometimes, but not all the time, she had to do things for herself. The new character Rina is mysterious and naïve yet wise at the same time and is a really interesting character.

I really liked this series and I hope there might be a spin-off maybe about Rina and I would like to read her other series the Sea Monsters Memoirs. I would recommend Fighting for Infinity to fans of the first 2 books Grasping at Eternity and Taking back Forever.

If you don't already know the Owls adore this series. Let's put it a bit more into perspective: The Kindrily series falls under one of my top 5 favorites series... Ever! I don't think I've ever fallen in love with a set of characters that quick. I've been reading these books from the start (Grasping at Eternity still holds a special place in my heart) and I can honestly say that each book is better than the last.

Fighting For Infinity goes above and beyond any expectations I ever had. That is high praise coming from me considering how much these characters mean to me. I've built such a strong relationship with each of the Kindrily that I, myself, feel a part of them. That makes me sound like a crazy person, but that's what happens when you get so attached to characters.

It brings tears to my eyes to see how much Maryah has grown since we were first introduced to her back in Grasping at Eternity. From losing her family to being reunited with her Kindrily. Everything seemed to finally come full circle once we started getting closer to the end.

One thing is for certain, Fighting For Infinity delivers! Just when you thought you had everything figured out a new surprise comes lurking out out of the shadows, twist and turns are never far behind and did I mention that there is a whole lot of action thrown in as well? All the unknown questions get answered and even when I thought something was going to be left as it was Karen throws you a curve ball filled with so much love and happiness that the smile on my face still hasn't gone away.

I haven't been this happy with the ending of a series in so long. Thank you Karen, for giving my beloved Maryah and Nathaniel the ending they truly deserved.

Fighting For Infinity was one of my most anticipated books of 2014 and I wasn't let down!!!! This book had everything that I wanted and more!

Fighting For Infinity picks up right where Taking Back Forever left off! I was immediately sucked back into the story and found myself holding my breath in anticipation for what would happen next. There was never a dull moment! It had everything from romance, to action, to suspense and some really great twists and turns! I loved the dual pov's, but I'm not going to tell you who it is, you're going to have to read it for yourself!!!

The Kindrily Series is one of the most unique fantasy/paranormal romances that I've ever read! I fell in love with the characters more and more with each book. And even though I am sad that this the end of Nathan and Maryah's story, we were given the most amazing ending!

If you've been thinking about reading this series, I would highly recommend you give it a try! This series will forever hold a special place in my heart!

Now this is how you write an ending for a series! Seriously. All the questions were answered, it was epic and the end was perfect. I was a bit confused in the beginning because it's been a while since I read the first two, but I caught up pretty quickly. I really loved this series and I recommend it! It's paranormal romance meets X-men. Sort of. Not really. It's unique! I can't write a full review on this one because it's the last book and practically everything I'd say would be a major spoiler, at least for the other two books and it would ruin everything for you. The only real disappointment for me is the cover. I loved the covers for the first two and this one doesn't seem to fit in with those. Plus I don't really like it. But hey, the book is great so. I read it in one sitting, I couldn't put it down. Just read it, 'kay?

Fighting for infinity was a nice ending to the series. I was a little lost at first when I didn't remember who was with who and what they did in the previous books but fortunately, some memories came back after a while and I could focus more on the story. However, even if it was an enjoyable read it wasn't perfect at least to me. There were a few moments where it was slow-paced and I just wanted to get to the end where all the answers would be revealed (I'm not a patient person as you can see). Rina and Maryah were a little frustrating sometimes. Rina was always talking without saying much of anything and Maryah's actions could be a little immature.

But overall, I still liked this book and I'm glad there was an happy ending, Nathan and Mary deserved it :).

THE BEST BOOK I READ THIS YEAR!!!
WOW. This book was AMAZING!!! So much more action, worldbuilding, mystery, TWISTS, and excitement!

What I liked:

I am grateful that this installment left behind much of the lusty scenes that the previous one had. Romantic scenes were more scarce but more meaningful and potent.

My favorite moments were those spent with Rina. She was such an intriguing and mysterious character. Although Maryah was annoyed at her odd way of speaking, I quite enjoyed it. I loved trying to figure out what she was trying to say.

Actions scenes were soooooo good. I imagined them vividly in my head! I am glad they were much longer compared to previous installments.

What I didn't like:

Despite everything, I still feel like Maryah didn't earn her power and accomplishments. It seemed to me that she kept failing and failing, and then Rina gave her a cop out... I was pretty disappointed that she didn't try to figure out her power herself. I felt this way in the second book as well. Although Maryah and Rina stated that they trained together, and that Rina taught her a connect-the-dot method to (re)learn her powers....I wanted to see that! I wanted to see her make little accomplishments towards her goal! Because I didn't see that development, Maryah's feats at the end feels so empty.

I also didn't like how there was basically a checklist (or book) on how to save the day! That to me also felt like such a cop-out! I hated how 99% of events went smoothly because of that. Although Mary devised the plan, Maryah didn't! She didn't do any brain power or critical thinking. She just followed instructions as if it were some kind of cook book.
Following up to that, Mary was(is) toooooo overpowered! I guess that's technically her thing, but still....lol.

One thing that was never resolved was the mystery behind Dedrick's and Maryah's relationship.
SPOILERS

The author never explained how Dedrick got that photo of he and Maryah in front of a castle, and he and her with a child. His other lies were debunked, which implied that he lied about everything, but this still confuses me since there are physical evidence.
Another weird thing is why Krista was not able to heal Dakota and Nathan. Strange, since she healed much worse injuries in the last book. It would have made sense if Dedrick injected her with a drug or something. I thought this was a glaring plot hole...

Despite all these flaws I truly loved this book--and the series! What made it so good was definitely the characters. The author was so good at making me care about them-- ALL of them! Wow.
My heart broke when I finished it, but then I read that she just might write a continuation based on the other characters, which I am SUPER excited for!
I hope she writes about not only Rina and Dakota, but Mikey and Shelia as well... hehe;)
I seriously hope the author considers this, because I feel so empty without the kindrily....!!!!!

Wow. The perfect word to sum up the final book in this series. The action is near constant with so many new things being introduced and tying together so well with things we already knew about our favorite Kindrily.
At first, I wasn’t really sure where the book was going to go, but after the cliffhanger at the end of Taking Back Forever I was drawn back in immediately. The story starts with Maryah trapped in an astral projection gone wrong. It’s incredible to read about how just her spirit is separated from her body and trapped by Dedrick, the formidable foe of the kindrily.
While trapped she meets a young girl named Rina along with others under Dedrick’s command. I can’t say too much without giving it all away, but everything just fell so perfectly together in a way final books tend not to do. Throughout the entire book, Hooper gives us just enough details that we need and then shows us how they all tie together neatly.
I also really enjoyed how a lot of the sexualization of the characters that occurred during the second book was either taken out or toned down a lot. I felt like it would not have fit with how serious this book was, and I was glad to not see it there.
The final battle is one of my favorites I’ve ever read and was done so cleverly I felt like some of the tricks they pulled on Dedrick were pulled on me too. Hooper has mentioned additional books with our Kindrily and I cannot wait to read them.

I finally got to finish this series and all I can say is, wow! Hooper takes some common concepts and twists them to be uncommon and original. I cannot say how many times I had that huge gasp while waiting in public places and reading this series because something unexpected happened! Hooper has the ability to make you forget about what WILL happen because you're so focused on what IS happening. She sucks you in and reading her spins on reincarnation and its intricacies is absolutely fascinating! If you're looking for something out of the norm for reincarnation theories and stories, THIS is it.

Also, I can't wait to read more, as mentioned at the end of this last book! Great job, Karen Amanda Hooper!

The third book in Karen Amanda Hoopers trilogy is filled with twists, turns, and unbelievably unique takes on the paranormal. From souls being trapped to borrowing powers, it's a journey that Maryah and Nathaniel must take in order to reach their happily ever after. Luckily, the reader gets to take it with them. I was so sad to realize this was the final book in the series. There are so many stories left to tell in this phenomenal world, and I wish I'd found this series sooner. The author asked at the back of the book if readers wanted the series to continue, and though I'm weighing in late, I shout a resounding "yes!"

Great for all ages!!

I loved The Kindrily series. Enjoyed the stories of Nathaniel and Maryah. I would like to read more on Nathaniel and Maryah and most specially Rina and Dakota. I would love to read Rina's life with her parents and discovering love with Dakota. To give it a good closure.

I gave it a 5 star rating because it's truly an enjoyable series. I would recommend it for all ages.

This book. I haven't cried that hard from a book in a long time. Such a fabulous end to a great series. It made me want to go back and read the first book, knowing what I now know about why Maryah is the way she is. The romance between her and Nathaniel made me swoon and the author tied up the plot threads very nicely. I hope she writes spin-off books.
