Her first book Tangled Webs: Love, Lust and Diamonds released on September 7th, 2018. Her passion for writing began in elementary with writing short stories and even getting the highest possible score on her 4th grade writing state test. Eventually her passion began to fade away as she got older.
She was drawn back into writing after sharing her story with a close friend and receiving a tremendous amount of positive feedback. Reading the work of other authors, in a variety of genres, has always been an outlet for her to get a break from her daily activities. She is currently a full time student at Broward College, pursuing her degree in Exceptional Student Education with plans of being a high school reading teacher in the future and she is a mother of two beautiful daughters.

C-Notes!
I wasn’t expecting that ending but I can’t wait to see how things unfold. I liked Charlo and Serena but I guess some things aren’t meant to be. Poor Demetri, he was kinda growing on me. This is a must read!!

Unexpected and twisted
Dayum! This story has so many elements to it. Serena finds herself in a situation that she never could have imagined. When she meets Charlo, everything starts happening at warp speed. Learning the truth about her parents to her friendship with Bebe to doing her assignment for Charlo to breaking the rules and falling in love with Demetric, Rena's life looks drastically different from where it started. So many questions unanswered and more truths to be revealed. That ending is unexpected and twisted. Looking forward to reading part two and highly recommend this story.

I was thrown off a bit about the term C notes because I'm not familiar with too many street terminology. After reading further I'm guessing they have something to do with Charlo and his quest to remain street King by killing off the competition. Charlo really have a lot of nerves; a whole family and trying to control a young girl's life. His actions may have cost Rena her life. Sha is a totally different breed of crazy. I really don't get her. I'm interested in seeing how this all unfolds because Charlo really will have a mess on his hands. Waiting to see how Zarkia Jone unravel this one in Part 2

Satisfied Reader
Omggggg things are abut to get real. The 2 people Serena was running from had their way of finding her. A small encounter with Demetri turned into so much more. I can't believe Sha would go to that extreme cuz of rejection and TWO good butt whoopins. I thought Charlo was the one for Serena but was i wrong. He was living a double life. I can't wait to see what unfolds in pt.2

Good Read
Really good read but the title didn't fit the storyline. This book was crazy was expecting a lot of things to play out as they did. Full of secrets on top of secrets and kept me wondering what's happening next. Charlo and his wife are a piece of work and I think Tia is cause of all the problems and marked Serena. Serena, parents are crazy and what's really going on with them. After that ending I can't wait to see what happens next. Good job Zarkia.

Wifed Up but Never Wore the Crown
Zarkia never disappoints! This book is good. I knew Serena would begin to fall for her mark. How can you pull someone in without falling in love yourself? Charles is a Hot mess and all over the place. Tia is so devious! The things you do to keep the one you love. I hate that BeBe and Demetri became casualties in the name of love. Can't wait for part 2!

Jaw Dropping
Man this was a fire read. Sooo much drama and too many snakes slithering around. The storyline draws you in from the beginning and it makes it hard to put it down. Zarkia is an evil genius with creating these characters. I am #TeamDemetri off the top. B****es ain't s**t!!!!!

This was a great read Zarkia!!! I'm going to be waiting on part 2 so I can see what the world is really going on with Rena Mom and Dad, Heck I'm scared lol I don't know how to take Charlo and Tia is no dang good at all.... How she know Rena parents is the real mystery!!! Awesome read

Mind control
The story was captivating from the beginning until the end. Charlo was on a mission, but I forgot what that mission was all about. Serena came into the picture and fell for the mark. She lost her best friend and she has been captured by her psycho parents. What's next for her?

Oh wowww
Mannn this was an absolute Great read. Oh come on Part 2. Charlo is definitely a class act I really hope Demetri pulls though because he didn’t just deserve that. But it’s also apart of the game. Can’t wait to see what Serena has to fight through cuz Tai is a bitter roach😒

Great book
I was feeling Charlo at first but now I'm looking at him with a lip curl. He let Serena down on so many levels and his crazy wife Tai don't know the damage she caused. I feel bad for Demetri I don't think he deserved the hand he was dealt. I'm on the fence of how I feel about Serena right now but somebody better hurry up and save her. Can't wait for part two.💙💟

This was a very good story and it kept me on the edge, I really hope that Demetri doesn’t die because he’s truly a good guy. Serena is a good girl but I feel she should’ve told Demetri the truth once she started catching real feelings for him, Charlo is only concerned about himself , that he’s too blind to see that his damn wife is the real culprit, well on to part 2 y’all ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great read
This was a great read! The plot was interesting and definitely out of the ordinary but great nonetheless. I also liked how the time sped up during certain parts so they story wouldn’t drag or get boring. Great job Zarkia!!!!

Loved it Zarkia great job. So much going on I couldn't put it down. Serena is going through so much right now! Charlo has a lot of explaining to do with that ending. Never trusted Tai, but what's going to happen with Rena after that ending?

I enjoyed the book but was very disappointed with the author's many errors which a good editor/proofreader should have caught. If not for the errors it would have definitely been a 5 star read.
