A useful and easy beginners guide. the focus is on healing chakras through the 8 limbs of yoga. A helpful guide for those new to both yoga and the chakra system. most of the information I was already familiar with but it had some useful tips and reminders.
Great book! Really good for someone just beginning their journey. Easy to understand. Written in lay terms. Written as a guide with simple practices you can perform to start you on your journey.
Lots of information in this nonfiction guide. I wanted to read through it once but now I'll probably skip around and use what I need. Nice book (but the number of typos - yikes.)
Very easy read for someone who is just starting their yoga/meditation journey! The way the book is broken up along with the visuals are very helpful for a brain like mine.
We love a good nonfiction book in this house. Especially ones about some of my favorite subjects. Yoga and chakras are right up my alley. And this book found me at the perfect time and was ridiculously cheap at Barnes and Nobles so that is a double win. Some of the parts were outdated which is odd considering how recently this book was made. But I digress. I still found the information super helpful and I will be going back to take notes on what may work for me. It is a great beginner's guide and really keeps out the author's personal point of view which can be a super big turn off for me when it comes to self help books. I want to be able to see the information that is presented to me and find out what is going to work best for me. I feel like this book does exactly that.
