I just wanted to be normal.

Hiding in the human realm has kept me safe for years. But when a lie draws me back to Faerie, I have no choice but to face the demons of my past.

Including my abusive family.

When they decide that I’m to marry the fae prince of another kingdom, I’m determined to fight it with every ounce of my being. They might believe that I’m broken the way I am, but soon they’ll learn that I don’t have to be like them to be powerful.

With four men by my side, the odds are still stacked against me. Yet I know I can’t lose control, because if I do, bad things will happen.

But what if they leave me with no choice?

I absolutely loved this story so much I stayed up all night to finish!!! Seriously couldn’t put it down. Story sucked me right in. AM Hardin you did such an amazing job with this story. I really enjoyed it so much. I need book 2. The ending of this one was perfect to go right into the next one. Yes cliffhanger but that’s fine with me. Definitely recommend reading this story. Absolutely loved it.

Good read, interesting characters

Enjoyable read but a little too black and white / good vs bad - characters could have a little more depth. I like it though and I'm looking forward to the next one

I so loved this book and need the next one right away. This story is all about the Fae. There are those considered light and those that are dark. This has nothing to do with how they look but on what power they have. For some reason the dark Fae are looked down on. The main character is Crystal. She is one determined female. She is devoted are caring to those she trust. For those that have her hurt her they are in for trouble. To bad her family falls into the later. The story is all about her family and how they try to control her. You will get pissed off at times and other times you will want to give her a high five. Then there are the men in her life. They definitely add in the eye candy but they really would do anything for her.

Ridiculously good read

This book was exactly what I needed right now. A strong, independent heroine who does what she has to to protect those she loves, and who has figured out her own worth enough to do what’s right for HER too. Add in some guys who protect her but love her enough to not hold her back, and you’ve got a fantastic freaking book.

If I didn’t need to work tomorrow I’d just forgo sleep to read the entirety of book two.

Strong kick-arse female lead who takes no shite. I love her! She's a determined lady who knows her strengths and with her two friends, they can face most anything.

Fast paced and it leaves one one edge waiting for her to explode. With the hints of strength which startles her relatives and surprised the rest. I can't wait for more of her!!

Thank you AM Hardin, this was fun to read!!!

I didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I do. I am iffy on Fae books. Often I find Fae characters either 1 dimensional or irritating. Chrystal, the main character is complex and interesting. The storyline is well written. I look forward to the next book in the series

I love A.M. Hardin’s work. Fae Magic doesn’t disappoint. Crystal is a stong, sassy, beautiful character. I love the world that A.M. Hardin builds within her stories and this one is the same. I didn’t want to put it down. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Great job!

Crystal is a Fae princess living on earth, right where she wants to be. She was not accepted by her family, and treated badly. She escaped to Earth and has made a home for herself there. There she has a family in her two Fae friends Jade and Celese. They teach her to speak up for herself and be who she wants to be. But when she is summoned to go back home because her mother is ill, she follows her guards. But things are not what they seem. She is surrounded once again by lies, deceit and danger. Luckily she has her friends to guard her back. Oh, and her sexy new guards. Add in a sexy prince who may or may not be her betrothed.

Fae Magic is the first book in Forsaking the Fae, and it was such a good read. I enjoyed Crystal as a female lead. She has sass, loyalty, protectiveness and is such a strong girl. She went through a lot when she was younger with some abuse, and not very good parents. She found herself with the help of friends. I really like this version of Crystal. Her two friends, yeah I am going to need them on my side. No one messes with her when they are around.

The guys, are very protective of her. You would think that because they are her guards, but there could be more to that. Also, the prince, you really want to hate him, but honestly you cant. He was just the kind of guy that she needs. They all are. I fell for every one of them hard.

So overall, this is a great new start to a new series that has definitely caught my attention. Cannot wait for book two.

I was given an ARC and this is my review.

The Mc: I just, love her. She is strong willed and not afraid. I like that she has some ‘dark issues’, that makes her more “fuck of, I can do this myself.” Now, normally that can be a disaster as well, because, the way the MC thinks and acts other times can throw all that ‘badass’ away and make the character unbelieving. But, this did not happened! And how happy that made me! I believe the Mc, I love her spunk, I love how she can be loving as well as reasonable. And her smart mouth and mouth.
The story/plot: I don’t want to have any spoilers here. So, this is going to be short.
There is something unknown, something that I scratch my mind about “why, what is that character planning, thinking?” and that is a good thing! I have yet to know and that I like!
I like the other characters as well! The author gives me enough to get to know them and like them or hate them. I’m looking forward to the next book, I really need to see what happens next, what will they do?

This is a good read. Well done to the author!
So, go on and read!

This is my first ebook by this author and it will not be my last!! This story had me hooked from page 1!

Crystal is a princess living on earth!! Her parents were horrible to he growing up so at 17 she left for earth. 6 years later she gets summoned back home to Faerie because her mother is ill.

She ends up agreeing when her royal guard shows up! But not with out her best friends Jade And Celeste.

Well let’s just say that Crystal is not the same girl she was at 17 and her parents or anyone for that matter were not prepared!! For what this girl went through growing up I don’t blame her one bit( no spoilers here but you will LOVE Crystal)

I love these characters and this storyline so much!!! I can’t wait for more!!!

I loved the whole concept of this fae fantasy. We get to see a story of a fae who left on their own and then return to the land of faerie on their own accord. I loved the magic and power struggles. The guards are fantastic side characters to Crystal, adding the mystery and romantic interests. Crystal is a fantastic main character and I loved her determination and inner strength! She's a force to be reckoned with and I loved the fiesty nature. The story is magnificently written and completely engages you from start to finish! There's hope, tragedy and happiness! Fae lovers will love this book! It's fae through and through and different to other fae books out there. Devourable and addictive!

I Got This book as a ARC for a hornes rewiev. I really like it. The story line is well writen, great world building go love the different story tellers, instead of always just the main telling there story. I like that that the story is somewhat of a slow burn romance. The main character is portred as a strong independent woman, but when she is with her parents, she is sent. And that’s why I won’t give it 5 stars. Those to just rub my wrong. But all in all a great book and I can’t wait for the next book to come out<3

This story is absolutely freaking amazing and I was completely and utterly hooked on it from the blurb and cover alone! I loved Crystal so much and the guys are amazing as well. Along with her two best friends turned family, Jade and Celeste who have been there for her since she left and came to earth. Crystal is so much stronger than she used to be and so fiercely protective of those she cares about as are her friends are of her. I just really could not get enough of this story and could not put down at all. I truly can not wait for the next book to find out what's going to happen.

Six years later she gets summoned back home to Faerie because her mother is ill. She decides to go when her royal guard shows up, her best friends Jade And Celeste go along with her. Fae Magic, the first book of the Forsaking the Fae series, is a book I picked up through Kindle Unlimited. I'll admit, at $4 for 160 pages, this is a novella I'd have skipped due to cost, but my KU subscription is letting me try out stories and authors I would have otherwise missed out on. At first, I found the story a bit predictable, but the characters were interesting and drew my attention. Glad I stuck with this one, as Crystal was an unusual and intriguing protagonist. This series has a lot of potential and if I retain my KU subscription, I'll read on for sure.

First of all I despise Crystal’s family. They are horrible rotten nasty assholes. They’ve basically abused her since birth then wonder why she ran away. Hmmm 🧐 Wonder why Einstein. These more shit they’re hiding. Why do things keep having to get changed and moved up . I need the next book ASAP !!!!!!

Fantastic start to a new series! The FMC is amazing. She is the way she is for a reason! She's definitely not your everyday Fae Princess, and her Light Fae family is not what you expect at all! I can not wait to see what happens in book 2!
