“Not everything intelligent in the world walks on two legs, you know. Sometimes it swims.” What started as a hard-earned vacation turns into nothing short of a catastrophe for Alex and Ash. Something good, however, may come out of it in the end. Together the scientists face a hard lesson- that there is not always a right answer to every question. Often in fact, there may not be an answer at all.
They go on holiday hoping to have a great time but it is not going to go that way. They may be scientists but not everything that is intelligent has two legs. They may not find the answers to the questions they will have. What are they going to face? Can they get away with their lives? Follow their journey

This is an awesome story of mythical creatures and a foundation that cares about them and shields them from those who would harm them. This is the second book of the Chimera foundation series and this book is as awesome as the first. Two scientists should enjoy time off but instead, are flung into a horrible scene of carnage that they must help with. I love the interactions with the orcas in particular but also I enjoy reading about the creatures they discover are real!
