Star Ascension #3

Forbidden World

Rate this book
Chris and Liz arrive on a desperate mission to explore a dead world. What they find could change the universe.

Earth has powerful enemies. It needs powerful weapons to defend itself. Alien races, the Don and the Ponohejon are planning to destroy humanity. Earth military and scientists cobble together a space craft from two different alien ships. They give it an experimental faster than light drive that none of the other alien races have.

They entrust this precious vessel of incalculable value to two civilians. And one spy. Sending them to a long extinct alien race’s home world.

Two thousand years ago, the world of Dendon was home to the most advanced race in the galaxy.

Someone murdered them.

An entire race. An entire world.

The alien races of SixUnion declared the planet forbidden to all.

Now Earth’s only hope may be a dangerous mission to find Dendon’s most powerful weapons.

Both Chris and Liz carry pieces of ancient Dendon technology within them. Will it give them the edge to face down what awaits on the forbidden world?

The people of Dendon may be dead.

Their technology isn’t. Not at all. It still protects a dead world of dust and wind and empty buildings.

The secrets of a long dead alien race await in the third adventure in the Star Ascension series.

Fearless, globe spanning adventurer.

Tireless, Nobel Prize winning peace advocate.

Stunningly handsome master of disco dancing.

Jeremy Michelson is none of these things.

Not even close.

Really, he considers it a fantastic day when he finds a ripe avocado at the supermarket.

Mmmm…guacamole.

In a previous career, Jeremy Michelson worked at a small town weekly newspaper. It was his privilege to report on the odd, the unusual, and the occasionally terrifying aspects of life in a rural area.

These days Jeremy lives in a much larger city in the Pacific Northwest. In his spare time he enjoys hiking (the Pacific Northwest has an abundance of beautiful places to hike) and taking photos of nature.

Waterfalls, snowcapped mountains, and trees feature prominently in his photos. Flowers, birds, and criminally adorable chipmunks are also favorite subjects.

Jeremy is the author of the Star Ascension science fiction series, a star spanning tale of humankind’s very bumpy journey from Earth to becoming members of a galactic community of alien races.

He also writes the New Bedlam / Unseen World adventures. An contemporary fantasy collection of novels and stories about a familiar world changed by cataclysm, bordered by a hidden world filled with powerful and unsettling creatures.

Well…he writes these tales when one of the family’s cats aren’t taking a nap on his keyboard.
Come on, cat, I got words to wr–

Chris, Liz & Titus

Chris and Liz are on the way to the dead world of the Dendon. The Don destroyed the Dendon some years ago. General Mattany has sent Titus Tawn to spy on them.

Charectorization & plotting are excellent.

Good but flawed.

I enjoyed the story, but it seemed a little long winded and way too many typos and missing words. Could use a good editing.
